🌩️ Ice Storm MVPs: Barrie Burger Comes Through! 🍔⚡ When the lights went out across Barrie last weekend, Barrie Burger lit up the community — not just with power (they had debit working, y’all 🙌), but with kindness, hustle, and next-level service. While most spots were shuttered, this little burger haven kept things moving like a well-oiled machine. The lines? Handled. The crowd? Calm. The vibe? Straight-up wholesome. Staff kept every order organized with Jedi-level precision — no confusion, no chaos, just pure, delicious efficiency. They were incredibly accommodating to both dine-in folks and those just popping in to grab a hot meal to go. Everyone got treated with warmth and respect — something rare even on a good day, let alone during a blackout. And the food? Still 🔥. Still juicy. Still Barrie Burger perfection. No cutting corners, no drop in quality — just full hearts and full bellies all around. In a moment where the city felt a bit upside down, Barrie Burger was a reminder of what community feels like. Hats off to the staff and even the patrons — it was a shared moment of kindness and calm, powered by great food and even better humans. 10/10 would recommend — even during an apocalypse. 🧊🍔💡❤️
The young lady at the counter was nice and patient with my order and the order was ready fast but that was the end of it. Both my burger and fries were not hot and rather cold and same was my friend's Barrie burger which is their signature double burger. I like to support independent businesses but I wasn't impressed by this place. Also later one of the staff started sweeping the floor right next to our table which raised some dust all around us while we were eating...
First time here. I could not believe the slow pace of the young woman taking the orders. It was painful to watch her and an unreasonable wait considering that there were only 2 people ahead of us. It was not busy at all, there were 3 to 4 tables with customers who were already eating. We finally placed our order and sat down to wait and wait and wait. In regards to the food, the burger was really good but the fries were frozen fries in my opinion. No fresh cut fries here, no taste. It was also difficult to know when your order was ready. They need to assign a name or a number for each customer. In today's world, I felt that I was in a time warp in regards to their set up and customer service.
The staffs were helpful and friendly. I ordered the chicken souvlaki dinner and baklava dessert (not too sweet). Both tasted good! The lady told me that their desserts are gluten-free and came from Toronto.
Great experience! Locally owned burger joint that serves really good food. The service was fast and friendly and there’s a lot of seating should you want to eat in. We got the cheeseburger combo meals- the portion size well exceeded the price we paid, so definitely good value! We’ll be back to try some of their other menu items!
The name says it all! Well, not really. There is a very large menu, and if it holds up to the burger I got, then it is truly special! The Barrie cheeseburger was great. I had the new special sauce with it, super tasty. Fries were really good too! I absolutely love old-school burger joints like this. The atmosphere is chill, with ample seating and great food for fair prices.
Great economical breakfast. Quality and value I can't find anywhere else. 12 dollars + tax = 3 eggs, 4 meat, potatoes and a cup of coffee. It tastes good or great.
Barrie burger has two patty, but it’s dry. The food here is just okay, but the clerks here are friendly.
