Day 4 of not restocking the basic necessity in the most wanted area of the gym. Most of the equipments are either not working or closed. Multiple treadmills aren't working. One of the abs equipment is malfunctioning since a week (fyi: it's just been a week since I started)

I did not like this. I had to sign up at a kiosk in the front, without being able to talk to staff. After I went for the first day I realized they didn’t offer anyone to show you how to use the equipment, I am brand new and couldn’t make heads or tails of the written instructions. When I called about a refund I was told it was not possible because I got the years subscription. It said when I signed up I had 10 days. They sent the request to head office anyways for me and I have to wait 2-3 weeks for an answer.

Staff are welcoming, and things are relatively clean. Machines do not stay broken for long periods of time. If you like more of a quiet gym, I recommend you go early in the morning 9 - 12 since it is pretty empty based on my experience going here for over a year. Most times, after 4 are pretty packed, expect there to be a lot of people. The black card zone in this gym is pretty large, so it is very convenient to have the black card. Machines in this area are also well placed, so it has a nice aesthetic to it.

Hidden costs, such as start up membership fee make more like 45 a month for basic. The cundles road facility in Barrie, is only staffed after 10 am. So you work out and then have to go home to shower. The shower...is the size of a converted close. Literally. It's a joke. The water is digesting and drinkable to refill your bottle. The equipment varies in quality. Low end, it's like a home gym setup. There a few better pieces but over all I can't take the place seriously as a training gym. The staff are anti social and rude. I went for about 3 months to give the place a chance . It never did. LA fitness makes this place look like a joke

Excellent clean location. Black card area is huge. Staff is extremely helpful. Great value.

It's so much darker in here than the Orillia one, the layout is better they have more machines more weights a larger black card room this one also has kettlebells and larger medicine balls it's soo much better than the orillia one

Signed up here about 2-3 months ago you sigh up online and go to front desk to verify and get your key, I used a debit card and apparently system couldn't charge me for the second month and I got an email about it to see the front desk until the "30th" of the month if not then my membership would be "automatically cancelled" said in the email. I preferred this gym because it is 24 hours open and I almost always go late at night before sunrise I was planning to go early and talk to the front desk about the issue but then when I've seen that my membership has been canceled BEFORE the 30th unlike it said in the email I received I was not pleased, I had to buy a day pass to workout at the gym which I have a membership. Anyways I told the manager about this issue and asked for a refund on the day pass (said no way) the I ask for any type of compensation (also said no) whatever I was left having to pay a day pass and some late fee because the system couldn't charge my debit card. Staffs are cool though and they seem helpful and the manager also seem like a cool/chill person but when talked to him about a missing 3 pound dumbbell if they could replace/buy he also denied, I will soon try my luck again I just think it is not alot to ask for to invest for 3 pound dumbbells for your members fit4less needs to do better.

Update May 2024: said I would update when they got a water fountain and now they have one. Much much better! The gym itself is pretty good especially for the price but I have two things I wish they would address. The Orillia location has a new water fountain, this location doesn’t and desperately needs one. Bathroom tap water is gross. Also they play music quite loud which seems redundant when the vast majority of people are listening to their own music. I have to crank my headphones to drown out their music. Turn it down and we all benefit. Will update review if I see changes.
