I had a fantastic time this was my first time ever on a boat and I was real comfortable with the staff especially the guide she made me feel real comfortable and I even got the chance to take a picture with the captain I will definitely take another ride..

Nice views of the city in the beginning of the trip. But the most part of the trip is quite…mild. It seems to me that the best time for taking this tour is during the foliage when the trees on banks are coloured in red, yellow and orange

Highly recommend the sunset cruise with live music in late spring/early Summer. Very attentive and friendly staff, with a full bar and snacks. The kids loved the ice cream and cupcakes. We saw bald eagles and made friends with the tables around us. The captain let the kids steer the boat. We will definitely be back again. Thanks Dutch apple cruises for a lovely evening.

WWII history buffs would be interested in this little escort ship busy for the US for about 4 years. Ship ended up being sold to a European country before being acquired by this group who refurbished it to commemorate those who served from NY. They do tours and a small gift shop.

The Dutch Apple Father's Day cruise was a breath of fresh air for me. Father's day itself can be hard on some families for a variety of reasons and Andrew went above and beyond yesterday. The music was enjoyable, the food delicious, the wind did it's thing and the waterway was perfect. The caption and crew were polite and professional adding to a wonderful but tearful day for me. Thank you all and looking forward to another day sometime soon on the Dutch Apple ship and cruise line!

The river cruise didn't have the narrated potions, except for a hard to see eagle. That craft was clean and in good repair, so that much was good, however the crowd management and the mixer speed dating feel of the night took away from the experience. ************************ Unable to respond to comment. When I called and examined what I was looking for, this was the cruise that I was told to purchase. It seemed romantic at first glance, the music was great but the crowd mismanagement and disrespect standing in front of everybody aided in my disappointment. The craft was the only highlight as it was clean and maintained, The weird name tagged passengers thought it was a good idea to literally stand in front of everybody that had seats with zero potential to view the environment. Don't get me wrong., I'm sure I got the wrong cruise, and maybe I wasn't clear on me wanting to take my wife to experience something she's wanted to see since we moved to the area, though, the rude and intoxicated passengers made it hard for a double digit count of passengers that complained to me (and apparently I'm the only one to say something). I wrote the review to highlight my experience and I seriously feel dismissed by your response. Thank you, but no thank you

We bought our tickets on the spot. Great customer service. We were greeted right away. The cruise had food, beverages, and liquor. You can order yourself or place an order with their staff as they go around the boat. The cruise comes with a historic sightseeing and a great captain. The kids got to go to the main cabin and steer the boat. It is wheelchair accessible, I think 3 floors and lots of seating area. We had a cool breeze, which made the cruise all the more relaxing. Definitely recommend this for the family.

Cute! The tour itself was a little underwhelming but the tour guide, hosts, and waiters were really nice! The whole experience was worth the ticket ($28 pp). We had icees and sat in the sun. Nice way to spend your sunday afternoon in Albany ☺️

The cruise was good. The narrator is knowledgeable of Albany and early Dutch culture. I saw bald eagles for the first time in my life. Great family time!

My" tour" was more of a 90 min boat ride Which I'm okay with, but that's not what I signed up for. I expected a guide of the river, point out land marks something, anything really this is more if a hey let's grab drinks and chicken fingers while we're on a boat. The service was great. Everyone was super nice, but this is NOT a tour and twilight? It was barely getting dark when we docked

Scenic boat ride up and down the Huson River. Informative and friendly staff. Saw two bald eagles during trip.

My 4 companions and I enjoyed the cruse on this sunny and clear Sunday. The narration was a nice. The boat was clean and neat. I had my binoculars with me and lucked out when an eagle flew near the shore and into a large tree. I was able to get a good look at him which was a plus! A fun way to spend a Sunday.

We went for a corporate event and rented out the whole boat. The staff were amazing, very attentive, and even pointed out all of the eagles in the trees. The food was really good. Scenery wasn't all that, lots of industrial, scrap yards but nice boat ride.

Enjoyed the Hudson River tour from Albany to see the fall foliage. Boat is stable, well-maintained, and quiet. We sat on the top deck and enjoyed the open-air setting. Got lucky and also saw 4 bald eagles along the river. The first 20 minutes of the tour includes viewing a lot of the industrial aspects of the river port, but the second portion of the tour is mostly conservation land and sparse residential homes. The tour guide was very good. He was knowledgeable, well-spoken, and professional. Didn’t expect it, but learnt many new things about Albany and development along the Hudson River. If the weather is nice, it’s a great way to spend 1.5 hrs on the river.

Beautiful unique opportunity to see the River and hear some great stories and history! Very helpful and nice crew. Hidden gem here!! Jump on the River and see this part of NY from a new point of view!

So this was chosen as the end of the year field trip for my son's class and today we went. I would give this a 10 out of 10 and highly recommend it to anyone. Nancy was our tour guide and kept us entertained with some really cool snippets of history for the Albany and Hudson river area. She even pointed out a bald eagle nest and taught us how to identify where a boat was from and its home port. We saw some really cool sights and learned so much without the kids even realizing they were learning. The boat is absolutely amazing, very clean, and comfortable. You have an onboard snack bar that has all kinds of goodies like pizza, ice cream bars, candy, soda, and adult beverages. There is a bathroom onboard (aka Head, as Nancy taught us). I love that you have 3 levels. One entirely enclosed to keep you warm of its cool outside, the middle level is the snack bar with a closed in seating area. The top level is open air and fantastic on a warm day. you have the best view! Half of the area is out in the sun and the other half has a top awning to provide shade. This was probably the coolest field trip the kids could have had, we even got to see the coast guard cruising down the river. It's a good time for kids and adults alike. if you haven't taken a Dutch Apple Cruise, I would advise you schedule one now, you won't regret it!

Wonderful trip down the Hudson River. We enjoyed the guided tour, all the staff was super nice and helpful. Captain even took the time for the younger kids to drive the ship. Highly recommend.

Just a really fun time. The weather was perfect. We sat at a table for 4 on the upper deck. The fall leaves along the Hudson were spectacular 🍂, the crew run an exceptionally safe and well organized event on the Dutch Apple ⛴. We sailed on calm water for over 2 hrs. Very relaxing. The whole time, everything was truly ship shape. Don't hesitate.

The cruise was wonderful yet I would like to see it last longer and or travel further down the Hudson

This was a very peaceful cruise. There was food and drinks available during the trip. The view from all levels was nice and the history about the area was delivered well. The prices are very reasonable.

This cruise on the Hudson River is terrific! The tour guides are knowledgeable. The staff is professional. Reasonably priced snacks and drinks and multiple decks for viewing.

Very nice experience. The boat is spotless, and you get a very smooth ride up and down the Hudson. Staff are very friendly, and the narrator does an excellent job of sharing the history of Albany and the surrounding area. Great way to spend a couple of hours on a sunny afternoon.

This is one of my favorite activities. Although I have been on this tour many times, I almost always learn something new. I really enjoy sharing this experience with friends and family as well, whether they are locals or visiting from out of town. The guide is knowledgeable and skilled, the staff is friendly, and the boat ride itself is always a pleasure. Little ones on the daytime cruises are also often invited to take a turn steering the boat, which is always a big thrill. While my preference is the sightseeing cruises or occasional lower key sunset cruises, the event cruises are also a great time.

What a lovely way to spent part of the afternoon. The boat is clean, beautiful, well kept, has nice drinks for sale, the guide Peter is a gifted speaker. He made the trip very enjoyable with his knowledge of history and ability to convey it in an interesting manner. And just to make the hour and a half more perfect,we saw 7 bald eagles soaring across the river.
