I didn't have a good experience, they didn't have my reservation and therefore I had to wait over 40 min to be able to check in, if it hadn't been for the customer service manager, Mauricio, they would have asked me to use another credit card to "guarantee" payment for my stay, when I had already fully paid for it. The hotel is old and although it's been renovated, there are many areas in which you can observe the decay it's suffered. Elevators where not working properly and they were mostly crowded, which during a pandemic is not ok. Food served during breakfast was lacking in taste. Swimming pool facilities were adequate and kept in general good conditions. Good views of the Bay from hotel rooms

As an English speaker, there were plenty of staff who spoke english as well that made the visit seamless. The views were great, the food delicious, and very friendly staff. My only recommendation is that if you're a light sleeper, ask for a room away that isn't near the street. There's a local bar or club that was blasting music well into the night with cars honking too - although I was 17 stories up, it was still very loud.

Despite the great location and most of the staff doing a great job, at this time the main pool is been remodeling. If you will be in this hotel and your room face the west, construction noise is terrible. Unfortunately the hotel will not advise until you do check in. Not enough beach chairs, small pool too crowded,

I would give this place a "1" given the suck factor, but the staff and the room cleaning were awesome and the food was okay, but the room location was HORRIBLE!!! If you stay there, DO NOT accept a room with the last two digits of 10 through 26 on any floor or you too will not sleep given the constant "BOOM, BOOM" of the night club next door echoing in your head until at least midnight!!!

This review was for the Lobby Bar at Fiesta Americana. Bartender had a bad attitude and kept trying to upsell us on drinks. Plus, they were playing very corny Christmas music even though Christmas is over. Lame.

The rooms are very nice, and the view is beautiful. Service is not great, and by the pool area they do not have half the lounge chairs they should to accommodate to their guests. Waiters tend to come check on you once every two hours unless you go hunt them down which is pretty annoying, especially when you leave tips and the service still does not improve. They insist you wear a face mask in every single area of the hotel except your room and the pool which is really annoying. If you forget you will literally be hunted down by security as if you have committed an obscene crime lol? Very silly. Also as soon as you check in they will aggressively push a sales presentation on you and not give you your bracelet until you have listened to it. I feel personally these things should be optional and not pushed upon guests.

I wish the resort and Acapulco to recover as fast as possible after this terrific storm. Fiesta Americana is very good resort to go with your family. Everything you need is ether there or accros the road. Pool, beach, reastaurant, views, everything is great. There is even local "mercado de artesanias" not very far from resort - perfect place for those who likes hand crafts

Big hotel (19 floors) close to lots of shops, the mall, and restaurants. 3 bedroom presidential suite was very spacious, each has it's own full bathroom, but could use some updating (tiles in shower are cracked, couch looks a little worn) Loved the Nespresso machine in our room and now I want one for home lol Hotel has specific taxi drivers (Oscar was THE BEST, hands down!) and there are plenty of ways to get around without a car. Hotel breakfast was expensive and not that good for the price. Went with Hilton points and they tried to sell us a time share for Fiesta Americana, dodged that offer. Pool and parking lot construction are noisy but kept it to reasonable hours. There are 3 pools already so we had plenty of water between the pools and the beach. Lots of security and staff on hand to make you feel safe and well taken care of. Maids came daily to clean our room, make beds, provide fresh towels, take garbage, etc. Try to stay on the left ocean side of the hotel where it is quieter, especially if you are a light sleeper. Gym is fairly big with lots of equipment. Definitely would go back overall! Never felt unsafe!

Great place to explore the city. I'm surprised to see how clean Acapulco is. We never felt un-safe. The Government is really trying to clean things up. Our room was a 3 bedroom on the 7th floor. Huge balcony and each bedroom has its own bathroom. Rooms are very nice and clean but could use updating. The main pool is closed and under construction.

Mojitos, appetizers, shrimp, pasta were amazing. Salmon could have had a crispy crust imo. Stopped Sunday & Monday evenings

Very nice hotel with clean, spacious and well maintained rooms. Located in the heart of costera with plenty of things to do, eat and drink within walking distance. It has two swimming pools with excellent service and a semi private beach

Fiesta Americana is right on the beach. It has a lovely sandy beach with rocks about 100 yards off the beach. The rocks are great for snorkeling, with turtles, rays, and tons of different fish. The restaurants are good and they have 2 for one drinks from 10am to 6pm. They don't charge for the cabanas or towels or hundreds of dollars for activity fees like the Grand Mayan. Also they didn't bother us or try and get us to take a time share presentation like the Grand Mayan does. Get a room facing the ocean if you can as the discos on the main drag can be noisy. We had a lovely 3 bedroom unit with a great view. The pools are great and the water aerobics were good every day. They even have a walking area for dogs. Tons of restaurants close by.

good place to stay, hate that they push the vacation package sales all the time and breakfast seems to be full of some uncomfortable people who are getting the pitch which makes the rest of the room kind if uncomfortable, maybe find a different approach to the initial pitch so it does not seem so intrusive to the target guest and or the rest of the guests of the hotel, also disappointed about not being told that pool is out of order and will not be working fo a few months I know the Beach is right there but pool was a big draw for us and our kids, so maybe some transparency in communication will help people not feel like they were conned into paying full price for half the experience.

You can find better places for what they charge, don’t get the membership!!

Since our last visit, the hotel has undergone some renovation. Overall it has improved.

I had breakfast buffet at the restaurant and things can be improved to have a better experience, waiting for food takes ages: have a toaster available for customers, have bacon, sour cream, and cheese in the buffet instead of having to ask the waiter for them, the omelette station needs more staff and have ingredients ready, also give a more generous portion of the fillings. Beyond that, food is delicious and staff is friendly. The breakfast buffet is pricey but the food is good.

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The viewing to the beach was amazing. The place was clean and comfortable. The only issue was the buffet which was not too good. The good thing is that we had different options in a walking distance to food places around.

Highly recommend this hotel! Used this hotel for our destination wedding and it did not disappoint. Our presidential suite was amazing. And they surprised us with an amazing masterpiece made of rice on the bed on our wedding night. My wedding guests are still talking about how amazing our wedding was. Definitely will book again!

Resort is getting very run down, as well as the Cozumel Fiesta Americana and Explorean. Used to be a good brand.
