El Rancho Motel

Hotel Motel

😠 Its definitely not a “mother hotel of the route 66”. Its shameful to use that to get customers at your property. Their rooms are in NO SHAPE to be rented out. Most of the people staying there are old, wheel chair bound and the homeless. I have no ill will against them but to me its sounds like a apa... People often mention room,

Its definitely not a “mother hotel of the route 66”. Its shameful to use that to get customers at your property. Their rooms are in NO SHAPE to be rented out. Most of the people staying there are old, wheel chair bound and the homeless. I have no ill will against them but to me its sounds like a apartment home or an HOS for month to month renters. No wifi or clean rooms. Its dirty and old. Place is locked up by a metal fence with no person to watch the office or guard it at night. Its a sad low-life place.

I live here right now, I'm not sure someone visiting over night would be able to stay here! JUNE 6 2022. THE CITY OF BARSTOW REDTAGGED EL RANCHO TUE 31st of May, Had 10-4 to get out what we wanted!! Wed and Thursday had only 2 hrs each day, we were told 6 days. HAHA; fri, sat,sun city is closed so had to wait for Monday....By then my room got broken into. My door was broke water was running. All what was left was a mess, clothes bags everwhere Christmas stuff broken and gone, tent stollen, my elephant collection ?? Someone crapped on floor..Thanks City for watching my things Cheryl Biberston

I have seen the reviews and was very spectical about staying here. I gave it a chance and it was a really great experience. Loved the history in that place and I took a lot of pictures. Also loved the fact that it’s close to antique stores. I will be going back there again. Also I did NOT get any bedbugs. I even checked the mattress before hand and there was nothing so that was great. Take a chance and maybe you will like it also.

WORST motel in barstow. The health and city department for health need to shut down this motel immediately. Not only with their rooms not up to par—no hot water, mold, broken pipes where you can smell the sewer. There are bed bugs and huge roaches that creep on you at night. Let alone the area is not very safe and you feel scared at night. Stay far as hell away from the rancho motel on west main street

Not exactly a 3 star motel. I was being nice and gave them a 2. Its in the totally disrepair part of town, homeless bums sleeping on the public sidewalk. Figured out that there is a homeless shelter right down the road.

Affordable monthly rates but rooms need upgrading. Floors too nasty, roaches in the room and tv not working.

This place is a dump they charge $600 a month for one room, but the only good thing is I've had a few friends stay there when they were short on the rent they just worked it off
