Best mediteranean food in the high desert hands down! Every dish was delicious and fresh! All the staff were so friendly and welcoming and the food was all natural farm to table goodness. Gonna be our go to fave place in the desert from now on!

Such a delicious hole-in-the-wall eatery! It's really so sad that this place is a bit difficult to find in a nearly abandoned plaza, because the food is so authentic and truly delicious. The place seriously needs more love because the food is certainly made with care and is a must-try. Tried the yogurt drink for the first time, not a fan of the sour milk style drink, but the food is amazing.

Ordered 2, 2 item plates and some cucumber yogurt for about 30$. I added an extra kabob on mine because it makes it the perfect amount for 2 meals. Staff is friendly and very nice, my second tine coming here and the food was just as great as last time. Definitely recommend the garlic chicken.

Family owned and operated. The best new mediterranean dining to come to the high desert. The food is consistently good and the owners are there to make sure every experience is good. They are also very welcoming. A must try if you love mediterranean food!

I can't say enough positive things about this place. The customer service was amazing...down from when we first walked in till we walked out. We were greeted, introduced to the layout and meals, and the food was an experience in itself. They even have vegetarian options that actually taste delicious. If you haven't tried this place out, definitely put it on your bucket list for an authentic Mediterranean experience. Thank you guys!

I really really want to give this place 5 stars. They may be new because it looked like it was another restaurant first. So I would recommend pick up. The lunch was delicious. The eggplant was amazing. The gal behind the counter was very very helpful. EAT here so they can spruce it up for inside dining and fix the windows 😋

So delicious, and they have pickled radish! How yummy is that? I’m so glad we’ve got a mediterranean food restaurant back again sense Pita Barn closed because of the pandemic. I hope this business thrives, the family that owns it are so cute and so accommodating. They tell you their background and where the food style originates. Very awesome and informative.

Had the opportunity to stop in today with my wife. Immediately upon entering, we were greeted by a very friendly gentleman who was excited to tell us about, their food. Rightfully so, I had a Beef Kebab and Spicy Chicken on Cilantro Rice, and while the rice was a tiny bit overcooked, (not in a deal breaking way) the flavors were excellent. The High Desert has suffered for good Mediterranean food for a few years now, and I am so excited to be able to suggest this place to anyone interested. Also, while we were there an apparently homeless man came in and asked for water. Not only did they give him water, but they fed him. I can't put money on seeing goodness like that. These are good folks making good food. I appreciate that, them, and know you will too. Hurry in.

Had been wanting to try this place and now I have. The food is DELICIOUS! I had their cilantro rice, beef with potatoes, roasted tomato, lemon chicken and roasted eggplant, pita bread, hummus and Greek salad. Fresh, tasty, filling and well seasoned. The service was fast and friendly and they are so good with newcomers to their resturant or to the type of food. I for will be back!

Great food. Nice people and even better service. We are weekly regulars. Not many options but our favorite is the prime rib with potato and the chicken/beef skewers. The chicken breast kabob is very well marinated and it has an amazing flavor. Very citrusy and not dry at all. Keep it up guys.

Tasty, generous portions served up by helpful, smiling, and gracious employees. Quite a nice find in the upper desert. Reasonably priced with several dishes prepared to order. Clean, modest atmosphere. Would definitely go back.

I want to start off by saying that I absolutely loved the food and service here. This place deserves nothing less than a 5-star rating to be honest. I believe it may have been the owner who took my order, because his overall knowledge of the menu and customer service was great! From the moment I walked in I was greeted and asked if it was my first time there (it was), and I was given a quick but full rundown of the menu and explained how to order. I personally ordered (and recommend) the “2-item + choice of rice” combos; the price difference between their “1-item + choice of rice” combo is a dollar or two I believe, so it only makes sense to get the 2 item one. My husband and I tried the Creamy Chicken Garlic (available regular or spicy), Lemon Citrus Chicken, Shredded Prime Rib (mixed with potatoes), all paired with the cilantro rice and everything was absolutely delicious. We also got a side of cucumber yogurt (Tzatziki) and it was good too! Not to mention, I ordered take-out, and was waiting in my car when the gentleman who took my order decided to take it upon himself to go outside and look for me to give me my order, which I wasn’t even expecting! Talk about going the extra mile for customers. Although this place has pretty good reviews overall, I always look at the bad ones and sometimes remain a little skeptical, and after reading some of the reviews, I agree the food is not the cheapest, and it may seem like you’re paying a lot just for some chicken and rice, but you’re really not. I could immediately taste the difference in quality of the food along with the unique spices and flavors of Mediterranean dishes. I think that the food is priced adequately fine and I have no problem paying more money for a great meal. If you didn’t like the food, then Mediterranean food just isn’t for your palate. Overall no complaints here, and we cannot wait to return for more! Thank you Mr.Kabob!!

Having spent some time in the Middle East, I am overjoyed at the prospect of eating a persian influence cusine. The food entrees are simple and true to the craft. Authentic flavor that is sure to please even the most discerning palate. Portions are more than adequate for the most hardiest of appetites. Service is attentive without being interruptive. The price point is at or below market average $$. If you are looking for a place to enjoy a quality experience without going down the hill, then give them a visit. There is a buffett from 11 - 3 pm.

I must have went on the wrong day or ordered the wrong food because I don't see how people are leave 5 stars. Maybe its just me. The food meh, prices are high for what you receive. So I went in to order a chicken kabob and a steak kabob plate but I was told that with a steak kabob was made to order which is great but you on get one skewer with 3 pieces of meat.. and the plate is just meat and rice for $20... no thank you. Food prices are high but normally anywhere else u would get like 2 skewers a small salad and rice and hummus to go on ur plate. $20 for meat and rice is way overpriced. Im good. So I ended up getting the chicken kabob plate amd a ground sirloin plate. Chicken was extremely dry since its sitting out buffet style and even a chicken skewer she gave me 3 small pieces of chicken breast. I was like is that two skewers and she said yes. I was like, Well add more. If I would have known it would have been so dry I would have said nevermind. The hubby didnt care for the ground sirloin but what I did was add the beef and potatoes which was decent. The rice and lentils as well as the cilantro rice was ok. I dont think I will go back. For the price, the amount of food and the taste I would rather go somewhere else

Mr. Kabob is a must try for the hi desert! The gyro was absolutely delicious, recommend the fries to go with it! Friendly atmosphere with great music and even better food. And this is after spending 9 years in LA county with unlimited Persian options. Mr. Kabob is top 5 on my list! If your passing through give it a try!
