Wow! This place is such a brilliant restaurant on ROUTE 66. Barstow is a rough and run down place. From the moment that you walk in you are greeted with a smile and a warm hello. They sat me immediately and within a few minutes I had a cold drink, chips and salsa and chilaquiles with red sauce and 3 over medium eggs with rice and beans. My waitress was spectacular and the owner and others greeted me and checked on me throughout my meal. All for $17.32! I am from Utah but I promise to stop by every time I come through!

We stopped here for Lunch on the way to LA from Vegas. Great little spot & wonderful people working there. The food we ordered was a bit on the saltier side, but the portions & taste were spot on. They give you a side of salsa & chips once you order.

Within an easy walk from the Rodeway Inn where I stayed and came highly recommended. Very unassuming from the outside, I wasn’t even sure if it was open but I tried the door and was warmly greeted. All the usual Mexican food on the menu and I ordered the vegetarian nachos and a corona. Food arrived quickly and the staff were super nice. In and out in 40 minutes on a Sunday night. Perfect!

OMG. Just omg. This place is IT. Like, thoroughly hits the spot after a night (or weekend) of drunkenness in Vegas. Complete with Vicente Fernandez music playing in the kitchen. Super friendly staff, delicious food, and really fast service. We couldn't believe how quickly our food was served and equally surprised at the great price when the check came. I'm low key upset that this restaurant is far from where I live. We are definitely making it a regular stop anytime we come back from Vegas.

Stopped here to grab some food to go on the way home from a trip. The food was delicious! We had the chicken tacos and a chicken enchilada (as well as chips and salsa to go). The food was fresh & delicious, the service felt like being at a loving home, and I love that they gave us 3 different kinds of salsa. Everything was also super reasonably priced! Will definitely be back if I'm ever in the area and need a bite to eat!

We were going to hit up another spot in Barstow on the way to Vegas but it was permanently closed! Doesn't matter, we saw this place, flipped a u-turn and walked right in. We were seated, drinks ordered and chipa&salsa delivered before I could even take off my mask. After we ordered our food, it came out as soon as I put the straw in my drink and took a sip. The salsa for the chips and salsa had a nice kick. The chips were fresh. I ordered the chilaquiles breakfast and it was delicious, perfect amount of salsa for chips for the chilaquiles. It came with three eggs, I asked for them over easy and they were just right. The dish came with rice And beans which were very tasty. The service was great and fast. Would recommend.

Affordable, fresh and delicious, Jennys is a favorite spot for any meal. The servers are efficient and friendly. The food is very good. Jenny is part of the community. She is a person who served families, working folks and then feeds homeless folks for free They say food is best when one puts their heart into it. Jenny's all heart and we are glad she's here with us

Excellent burrito stuffed to the max! Service was outstanding, fast and friendly! The prices were very reasonable! I absolutely recommend!!!

Being a Mexican I was craving real Mexican food from home made rice, home made beans, and home made salsa. This place is it. As a picky eater I am hard to please, but this place goshhh. Look no further!!! Everything made from scratch no canned beans or canned salsa here, this people don’t play. The menudo hit the spot big time. Food came as fast as the speed of light 100/100.

We stopped here on our way to the Grand Canyon. It's not the fanciest place, but looks are always deceiving.The service was wonderful, and the food was yummy. I love that they have a menu with options for smaller portions as I hate wasting food. The prices were very very reasonable. The only negative thing I can say is that it was a little hard to find at first. This place needs a big sign facing the street, everything else was great!!

Absolutely the best food I've had in years. I just wish there was one in Colorado. I'm thinking about planning a return trip to California just to eat here one more time. No bs.

Flan is amazing!!! Food is good except for the sea food. The customer service is good. Pricing is a little pricey about $14 a plate. Eample: 2 flaunts,rice, and beans are 14 bucks. They do have specials, but it just depends on what you are in the mood for. Family owned and operated, and you can definitely feel that in the atmosphere. If you take into consideration the customer service and food, definitely worth the try.

We were traveling through Barstow today and we thought we would pick a Mexican restaurant to eat at.We looked up reviews,etc.,and we decided on Jenny's Grill Steak & Mariscos.We were definately glad that we did. We ordered the three shredded beef enchiladas with Red Sauce,rice and beans.The red sauce over the enchiladas had melted cheese as well.I also asked for a couple jalapenos that were freshly charred on the grill.The shredded beef enchiladas tasted good and were flavorful.The spanish rice was good with the beans.I think the beans were pretty good with the right amount of lard,which I like.I mixed the rice and beans together and I put the chopped up charred jalapenos in it also which tasted wonderful. We also got the Carne Asada Nachos which were good and had lots of Asada meat on them.The cheese on top went well with the meat and chips,and had the right amount of crunch.I was also glad that they served chips and salsa with red and green salsa and pico.The red and green salsa had some proper KICK to them when eaten with the chips.I thought to myself that this must be the heat level that they like around there in their salsa which is cool. I love when we go to a Mexican restaurant and you get that heat. The charred jalapenos were delicious,and quite hot and complimented both the enchiladas and the rice and beans.The friendly waitresses were quite courteous and supplied us with whatever we needed.From the time we ordered the food to the time when the food came out to our table was surprisingly fast also.I say Great Job Jenny's Grill Steak & Mariscos.Your food tastes Great,and you can tell that the people that work there care about producing Great Food.

Was feeling sick and decided to go for albondigas. It absolutely made me feel better and made my day better! Staff was quick and nice for my pick up order and I felt really taken cared of. Thank you!

We like coming to Jenny's. Its family friendly, the service is always good and the food is great. Jenny and her staff have always been very accommodating when we have a big group. It shows that she appreciates is as customers.

This place has great/authentic and fresh Mexican food. Not the most gorgeous in the world (and the bathrooms could use a remodel) but the food is outstanding and fairly priced. Have stopped here many times from Las Vegas and I, and anyone I have taken here have never been disappointed with the food taste, prep or price. Great.
