Motel

😠 Stayed for one week but it was really bad. Every motel wants $400-500 for a week. It was half that here. The room was as expected for the price. Bedbugs, roaches, and dirty sheets. Towels had dark brown stains. The wifi did not work at all. Never reached my room. Only in the office People often mention room, motel, rooms, stay, dirty, week, clean, told, wife,

It's a cheap hotel and you get what you pay for. The rooms are big and not to many bugs. I saw 3 bugs and they where coming in under the door. Management was friendly and helped as best they could.

The room stank of stale smoke, despite being a non smoking room. It actually made it difficult to sleep. Air conditioning unit is dated and too loud to keep on at night. Otherwise bed was comfy and everything else worked ok. You get what you pay for, if you need a room that doesn't smell you can pay 15 to 20 USD more at the Ridgeway Inn a couple of doors down.

Staff is friendly enough but they need to get better control over the extra guests that tend to visit at night and during the day. The roaches are a bit much for as clean as I seen the rooms so many baby ones running all over the place

Bad smell in the room. AC was very old and dirty that I preferred to sleep sweaty snd not using it. Room was dirty and noises came from outside. Parking in ok, but I would strongly recommend to AVOID this. The reception guy was very nice, but that was the only good point I found here. Strong improvement required.

After driving too long, we needed a quick place to stay. We found this Best motel and immediately booked a room. The guest services guy was extremely helpful and helped us get a better suitable room. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel is clean, quiet, and right off the highway. Exactly what you want.

All I can say from this last visit there the manager were extremely rude to my son and told him not to come back and all he did was tell him we are sorry for staying a few min after check out time and over priced the mattress you could feel and see the springs and stains on the sheets to His motel rates up with the Desert inn motel and the tub was stained its bad if you wanna pay $80.00 for one night go for it but be ready for big and a mattress that has springs coming out of it and sink handles that fall off and a shower that only works part time. Or when it wants to.

Very tired, very late, our usual hotel was full. No time to check reviews. This place was disgusting. The stench horrible. I can't believe that they are allowed to continue to rent rooms. The place should be shutdown. My car would have been a much better option.

Got a room for a week at this motel. ($250) Not worth it. AC works as minimal as it can. The room was not clean to boot. Even the light switches were dirty as all get out. The most basic things were not done. When it comes to cleanness it's a no. To take a shower means your gonna stand in a puddle while you do. I like to give things have benefit of a doubt but this motel needs a lot of work. The toilet seat was so old and somewhat gross I went out and bought a new one. I was unable to put the new one on because the old one was caked full dirt, and would not allow it to come off. The beds are wrapped in plastic, and the second day after being there they tried to send an exterminator in to spray. Not to mention they do not take REFUNDS there. I of course refused period. I know after anyone spray such poison no one should be in a room 24 to 48 hours minimum afterwards. It is safe to say after my week was over I was glad, and have new stores for my book. If you need a motel go across the street $50 more week 300, way nicer. My best suggestion if your visiting Barstow is the Econo Lodge.

My stay was 1 month. The owner/manager was nice but a woman who helps cleaning rooms have threw away my letters, and she is VERY loud. The room is smaller but the TV had all my favorite channels. The best part of this motel is the location, the bus stop is right in front, next door to Chase Bank & right across from 99cents.

Its cheap and dirty. The managers dont care what room they put you in until you show them whats wrong with the room. They want to charge you a price thats ridiculous but give you a snobby room. This motel looks dirty and smells like smoke and alcohol before you even get to your room.

Do not stay here. I don't normally write reviews for places that I stay in (and my family and I have stayed in countless motels and hotels throughout the United States), but those considering staying at this motel deserve fair warning. My family and I made arrangements to stay in this motel for one month after moving from the central valley while we wait for housing for myself, my wife and two kids, as well as my youngest child's service animals. We spoke to the owner and made it clear that we had pets and asked if this would be an issue. He said that it would not be a problem. We arrived, checked in, paid, and were carrying our belongings upstairs as well as our cats when he suddenly came out of the office saying that we had to leave. My wife asked why and he said that we could not have cats in the room, though he had already given the ok on this the day before. He repeated that the cats were an issue, and so we agreed to leave and requested a refund. He said that we were being issued a refund and we left to another motel. Later in the day I checked my bank account and found that no refund had been issued. I called the motel to inquire about this and was told that I would not be receiving a refund and that he did not care if I called the police. I told him that my wife, kids and I would be homeless because we had sunk $800 paying him, and he told me too bad while swearing at me. I contacted the police and was told that there is nothing they can do--their tip was to go to the local shelter. This place is run by a greedy, heartless scam artist who does not care if a family is on the streets as long as he can pocket some unearned cash. We didn't spend even five minutes in that room, yet he is keeping a month's rent. As for the room--it smelled foul, the A/C couldn't compete with the desert heat, and there appeared to be a layer of dust throughout (though that could be a mildew film, who knows?). Stay in this place if you like scuzzy rooms and the possibility of being scammed--and if the other reviews are accurate, the place is a nightmare due to their renting to lowlifes who party top volume all night long. Otherwise, choose somewhere else--anywhere but here.

Very friendly staff and clean rooms. I was surprised for the price I paid. Beds are comfortable and the shower was hot and refreshing. Would definitely recommend to my friends and family.

The owner (BK) is a special person. We are on a cross country and had a medical emergency. BK went above and beyond to help us. Not only did he care for our rider but he took me to stores to get supplies and checked on us repeatedly. Great Person.
