Oki Dog is one of my favorite dives, been going here for over 40 years. The pastrami burrito make a great breakfast the next day scrambled with eggs same with the original OkiDog

Been coming here since it was on Sycamore on pico. I was raised in the area and have been coming here since I can remember. The owner cooks and cashiers know me by name and I come here when I want a good ol chili burger or my custom beef plate. The food is def comforting and portions are great. Will forever support this small business.

This place is so clean for a neighborhood joint!! I service is great and the good is better. Love the tacos and chili cheese fries. Next adventure Hawaiian tacos!

I got the teri beef plate, comes with rice, side salad, and mac salad topped with a teri beef that has onjons & bell peppers.. so bomb!! My husband gets the Oki Dog with cheese & it's his favorite everytime we're in L.A

Great local spot with super friendly staff and reasonably priced food. There is a small parking lot next to the restaurant as well as street parking which is a plus. Also both indoor and outdoor seating. It’s a no frills stand - very clean and good service. We went for the Oki-dog without really knowing what it was. I was unprepared for the double hotdog, chili, cheese and pastrami combo all wrapped up in a flour tortilla … but somehow it all worked. Having this hotdog feels like a rite of passage in LA, and we came out the other side very full and very willing to come again.

This is a Cash only little place with a hole in the wall feel. The cash registers are ancient and the menu is pretty limited. The food is of course great, no matter where you're from, it feels like where you grew up.

Been coming to this restaurant since when it was on pico and Sycamore. BEEN living in the area since 99' and this is a mid city treasure. The cooks and cashiers know my order and you can call ahead too. Love the chili fries the teriyaki beef plate and the chili burger. Will always come here and bring friends too.

Excellent place to get out of trouble, the food is delicious and the attention is very good. I recommend them! 🤗

Excellent service and ok atmosphere, but honestly, I wasn't pleased with my food. I ordered the chicken and beef teriyaki plate and it was drenched with sauce and not in a good way. The chicken was a bit dry and unfortunately, the macaroni salad tasted kind of old with lots of black pepper, making it overwhelming. I don't see myself going back . Sucks because I was excited to try this place.

No way have I been missing this spot all these years!! I’m pretty sure this is the best spot for chili cheese fries and chili cheese burgers in MidCity. What’s even better is they have hotdogs, burritos and even chicken beef combo plates which I have yet to try. The only bad side is it’s cash only but understandable as this mom and pop shop doesn’t wanna be charged those insane card transaction fees. 10/10 highly recommended.

I've been going to Oki Dog for 31 years. I'm 36. Dad took me when I was a child. Best Chilli and better than PINKS. PI KS JUST HAS THE HOLLYWOOD LOCATION BUT NOT BETTER TASTING FOOD.

One of the best and original burger stands that I've ever been to. I recommend it to anyone. Come try them out . And make sure that you try a Hawaiian taco is to die for

Went to Oki’s due to reviews of 4.7 stars but expected way too much. Because it was quite below average. The cheese burgers were Cold. Buns came out of plastic bag straight , no warm up on the grill. The teriyaki steak burrito is the worst burrito I’ve ever had in my life. And cost $12. Chipotle is a much much better bet. Hopefully will save someone else the disappointment. Irvs burgers just a mile or so away is so good and much better.

The grilled cheese for my son was crispy and perfect! The pastrami sandwiches, when loaded, have perfectly cooked cabbage alongside the pastrami with mustard and was just to die for! The fries were very hot and crispy as well! Definitely recommend.

The Oki Dog itself is quite unique. The idea of essentially a chili cheese hot dog in a burrito sounds tasty and it certainly was. I also got the pastrami chili cheese fries which were not bad. However be prepared to get full really fast because I completely overdid it with the amount of food I got. Would I give this place a try again and/or recommend to someone? Yes I would but I’m not going to be a regular here because the food is heavy.

Have moved out of state and was excited to go again while I was in town to bury a close family member. Was initially disappointed to find an apartment in the landmark location. My husband had the forethought to Google the name for directions. Grateful that he did because once again I was able to see familiar faces and appreciate a pastrami that can only be found at Oki Dog. Everything was just delicious..

I can not believe that I started going to this place in the late 70's and the food is just as good now as it was then. The same cook is still working there. LOVE THIS PLACE.

I've enjoyed this LA delicacy for more than 30 years. They moved to this location a few years ago, but it has the same menu and owner. Personally, I always buy the original Oki Dog. But friends say the pastrami burrito is fantastic. Don't expect any "atmosphere" here, as it's a walk up and order to go kind of place. There are a couple of tables, so you could dine in, if you wanted, but I've never seen anyone sitting down to dine there. Oki's Dog is one of LA's iconic neighborhood eateries.

This place used to be the shizznit!! Now, not so much. Maybe it's because I'm older and my body can't handle what it used to. Or maybe it's the new owners, or new people hired. However, the food was kinda flavorless, very greasy, and made my stomach hurt a little. You can get a combo meal, for $15.00, but only with an entrée and a side. No drink. Interesting right??? I know. I won't be back until I hear about them stepping it up. Also, they only take cash, and the ATM outside charges $2.99. Altogether, as you see, I give this place 2 stars. Get it together Oki Dog. I know you can do better ⭐️⭐️.

Delicious food, can never go wrong with food from Oki's. Whenever in the area it's a must to stop by and grab a couple plates.

Been coming to Oki Dog for 20 years, the food is still great! Best chilli in LA. Polite staff as well. The owners are very nice people.

Been eating at Oki's Dog for over 15 years. They were further down on Pico. Good food & service!!!! Thank you.

Came here just after they closed by accident. They had every right to shoo me away, instead they made me one of the most satisfying burgers I’ve had. Friendly staff, great food, good prices. What more could you ask for from a local burger stop?

  • 5/5 Joely S. 1 year ago on Google
1st time there The tacos are the bomb they do come with hot sauce, I didn't get it with hot sauce and a very good diet coke. The owner & staff was friendly and pleasant. The places was clean inside and out. Prices are about average, the only thing would be nicer if they had a restroom and if they took debit but I'm sure because of The service charge they don't take debit because then they would have to pass along that price to the customers. I will be back

Love the taste of the food. Still the same flavor. What a hidden Gem this place is. Try the Oki dog and the tacos! Fries are tasty too!

Can't go wrong with this spot. Best pastrami in town. Chili cheese fries on point 🔥. Been coming here since I can remember

  • 4/5 Sassy M. 3 years ago on Google
I like it!! Been eating their food for years. The burritos are so big you can't even pick them up. They use cabbage instead of lettuce which makes me "believe" I'm eating healthy lol

  • 5/5 Erica B. 1 year ago on Google
I dream about the food here 🤣. Seriously, the food is 10/10 plenty of vegand and gluten free options (all are delicious). The only negative is that they don't ask agressive dogs/owners to leave. Last time I was there and there was an golden barking and growling consistently and they were allowed to stay and finish their meal making it a bit nerve wracking for the others on the patio.

I'm giving this place 5 stars even before I try the food. I mean I've had it before like a long time ago and I don't remember hating it. It smells Hella good. And 8 bucks for a triple chill cheese burger and frys can't beat that. If I don't alter this review know it was good. Next time I'm gonna try the teriyaki burger but I just saw chill and I was like bro say less
