The staff were absolutely wonderful. They were very professional. When you walk into the lobby it's very well appointed and has beautiful fresh flowers and it's candle lit with a very calming ambience. It has a wonderful little bar that serves some awesome drinks and as you check in or even arrive each evening or afternoon your offered a glass of wine. The rooms are very well appointed with six huge pillows on a very comfortable bed. The bathrobes were so soft along with the towels. The sheets on the bed or Egyptian cotton. There was a small writing desk that you could work on. Along with a TV, mini fridge and a table for drinks. The closet contained a safe. The bathroom was up to date and had really nice products. Everything was placed very conveniently. There was even a handheld mirror. Breakfast in the morning is also exceptional. The menu is posted in the photos. I will definitely be returning to this exquisite hotel that overlooks the Mississippi River.

I cannot say enough good things about the River In up Harbor town. The staff is amazing. The rooms are beautiful. Right on the Mississippi. The restaurants are terrific. Brandy and Alexis at Tug’s are wonderful, and the bartender is cool (sorry I don’t know his name.)Anastasia is great at Paulette’s, and so is the British young lady who helped us – sorry I do not have her name, but she is also attentive, polite, friendly, and very professional. Alfred at the front desk will give you the shirt off his back—so don’t ask him for it!!

This is my second stay. The staff is great!! The room was smaller this time - I don't know why the price was the same. However, I still loved it. Great New Year's stay cation.

We ate dinner at The Terrace. Their menu is small, but very good. Beautiful views of the river and sunset. Quaint Harbor Town charm.

What a gem of a hotel, we chose this one for an anniversary weekend trip. From the first moment of check in we felt truly welcomed. The staff is outstanding, very professional and attentive. The rooms are spotless, beautifully appointed, spacious. The hotel breakfast was phenomenal, excellent quality and beautiful dining room. We highly recommend The River Inn.

They charge my card even after I canceled. Talking with someone was no good. She claims she was the manager, rude and still didn't even try to make sure I did canceled. I know i did canceled. That wasn't being manager like. But one day she will have to experience that same hurt, she put on someone else. Amy other manager didnt even try to call to talk to me. I'll let the Lord handle them Always do...honey im done with it. Lesson learned, if someone did try to call. I'm sure I was working. But I had no missed calls. The lady I did a cancelation with knows who she is. Rather I had a confirmation number or not. It should be in the system. If she had did her job right. That Let me know you have dishonest people that works for you. And no I didn't write down a number because I was driving. But again lesson learned.

This place was an absolute dream to stay with lots of charm, only about 1.5 miles from Beale St, had a beautiful view of the river, the quant restaurant for breakfast was absolutely amazing! This by far has been a favorite of mine and would highly recommend.

We just had a fantastic stay at the River Inn celebrating our anniversary. Our room was very nice and had a great view. We had meals at Paulette’s. The included breakfast was a very nice touch and delicious. We had our Anniversary dinner there and it was excellent! Free parking is a plus. The area it is in Harbortown was quiet and felt safe. We highly recommend the River Inn!

I travel constantly for work and vacation and found the River Inn to be a winnder. The hotel is situated on Harbor Island just a short drive to Memphis and all the activities on Beale Street and downtown. It faces the river which features a lovely walk way about two miles in a loop. The hotel has classic southern charm feel, is clean, well staffed, available parking, with cute shops and restaurants nearby. My room looked out on the river and was so very comfortable. The bedding, blankets, towels, and furniture were all clean, comfortable, and updated. The service was very friendly and welcoming and informative - front desk staff always available to help with directions. While all this is wonderful, the most amazing part of my three day visit was the help I received when I left a piece of jewelry in the room. I let TARA at the front desk know and she immediately met with the cleaning staff member who found my bracelet. Tara made arrangements to have it FedExed to my home that day. TREMENDOUS SERVICE and CUSTOMER CARE. Thank you, TARA!!

Beautiful hotel with some excellent staff, both in the bar area, breakfast and on reception. Welcome drink was a nice surprise, and the addition of an in-room nightcap was a great added touch. Definitely recommend! The free upgrade for one room was also greatly appreciated.

We had champagne on the 4th floor. The view of the Mighty Mississippi is amazing! A gem of a romantic find! There is a fancy-schmancy restaurant on 1st floor. This is an expensive place.

Booked a staycation at River Inn for my wife and I's anniversary. Wonderful boutique hotel with an amazing view of the Mississippi. Staff were attentive and nice, and River Inn does a great job with the nice "little touches" of chocolates at turndown, wine at check-in, etc. The area surrounding the hotel is very nice and walkable to explore various shops and restaurants. Overall location is close to downtown without feeling downtown. Breakfast at Paulette's was phenomenal and a great end to our stay.

Lovely inn next to the river. Great view and quiet. Great for long walks along the river. Rooms were cute old-style rooms with wood furniture and lots of character. Staff is very nice and affable. It's a bit out there, so you'll need car transportation.

What a great place to stay - highly recommend! Staff is very helpful and friendly including what sites to see when in Memphis. Right across from the Mississippi and near the Pyramid in Memphis. Rooms have beautiful views. And you cannot miss breakfast - especially the Eggs Benedict! When we return to Memphis, this will be a recurring place to stay. Thank you for making our visit special and making us feel at home

This is a top level hotel. A complimentary glass of wine at check-in helped ease the jet lag.

This is a hotel with personality, and many fancy touches. Much more fun to stay at than a typical can't tell the difference between them establishment. We found the bed to be SUPER comfortable and both linens and bathroom immaculately clean. No problem finding a parking spot on a Wednesday night, but the lot was about 90% full, I'm not sure it's would be so easy on a popular or busy night. Breakfast was made individually plated and included. Tasty. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved it! Everything from the greeting with champagne to an easy check out. We were near some good eating spots. We chose Tug's and I'll do a separate review for them. The bed was super comfy! There was a pianist in the lobby which was nice. They have an arrangement with a nearby massage parlor and the masseuse was amazing. She even gave us some eating tips for the 3 nearby spots. The Brandy and chocolate was a nice touch for the turn down. we'll definitely return. It was nice...

Beautiful hotel, large room, comfortable bed, friendly staff, great location in a cute little neighborhood, directly across the street from the Mississippi River and only a mile or so to downtown. Breakfast at Paulette's (on the first floor) is included. The breakfast is made to order and was outstanding.
