Where do I even begin?!! This steakhouse was just that GOOD! The best steak I think I have ever tasted in my life! It was mouth watering goodness! Nah fr, make you wanna slap yo mama! My husband and I visited here today for our anniversary and it was the best place we could have chosen! The food was high quality and definitely so good to eat! I loved the fact that they thought enough of our anniversary to give us the sweet little card. I also liked the fact that the establishment was very clean and cozy. The bathroom had actual chairs outside to wait, and there was a sink inside of my stall to actually wash my hands as soon as I got up. I’ve never seen that in a restaurant before. The fire places made it even harder to leave as I just enjoyed the view and the essence of it all. This was my first visit and I was truly blown away. I will definitely be returning soon. Everything was phenomenal for my Husband’s Birthday! They had the decorations on the table and brought him out dessert! It was on the pricey side but well worth it, the steaks were delicious and the service was exceptional!

It was good but our waiter Milton seemed a bit distant. My granddaughter asked him as I was paying the check, were we supposed to get bread with our meal. He stated yes and she advised him that we never received it. He apologized. He asked how was our main entrees and if it was to our liking. The food was delicious.

Never disappointed... First I want to say Jason/JAY was an amazing waiter. He was attentive, punctual, informative and had the best attitude. The food was great the drinks were perfect and the atmosphere is always pleasant.

As a self proclaimed Ruth’s Chris enthusiast I will say that this is one of the best Ruth’s I’ve been to. The service impeccable (bartender Jeff), the steak cooked to medium rare perfection, the sweet potato casserole top-tier. This Ruth’s Chris is just as good as the one in New Orleans. Keep up the good work.

Great location, great service & friendly atmosphere. Visited to celebrate our 9th anniversary and RC did not disappoint. Our table was decorated with rose petals and a card. We ordered Patron drinks on the rocks and was served bread. Shortly we ordered our meal. I ordered the lobster macaroni w/ a medium petite filet. My husband ordered the stuffed chicken breast w/ baked potato. They gave us a free pic and dessert. Everything was amazing and delicious as usual!!

So far, in Memphis, have visited all the 5 star restaurants (Capital Grill, Ruth Chris, Flemings, etc) and after a few months, Ruth Chris still ranks #1 with us. Unfortunately, I didn't take a lot of photos, however, I can tell you the food and service is the best in Memphis. Their cream brulee will leave you wishing you got a few to go. Plan to visit a few more times before leaving Memphis!

I visited this Ruth Chris location (I’m from Jersey) while visiting a friend in 2017. Service was great, really got that southern hospitality. 👌🏽 Food was amazing and of great quality, it was my first time dining at a more upscale restaurant than i’m normally used to, and everything was perfect. My visit was for a birthday and they even had the table decorated with “happy birthday” confetti when we arrived! would definitely revisit this location if i come back to Memphis!

Today I visited Ruth Chris for the first time for a work group gathering during Happy Hour. I have known of the restaurant for a while and always wanted and planned to visit. The restaurant has a very cozy romantic ambience that I love, though the lights could be turned up just a bit, I had to use the flashlight on my cellphone to read the menu. The bar area can stand to be a bit larger, but that will not hinder my returning because I am not a drinker we only sat there because of going during Happy Hour. Our group couldn't be seated at a table together, the only table there only seats five, so instead of sitting in groups of four in the booths, which is how we started, we all sat at the bar and socialized and enjoyed one another's company. Jada, who is very efficient and attentive, was my first server, but Rachel took my order. There was another sever, whose name I do not recall was efficient and attentive as well. The appetizer I wanted is normally prepared fried, but I wanted it grilled, which Rachel didn't know if that adjustment could be made, she said she would ask, went back into the kitchen and out comes Marcus who asked me about what I wanted, said the appetizer could be adjusted, did it and came back out to ask if the dish was to my liking and it was. I will definitely be returning, not on the bar side, but in the main seating area. If I could give ten stars I would. Ruth Chris you just acquired a new customer.

They changed the lobster mac! My friends and I had a terrific girls night at this Ruth Chris location! I was able to make day of reservations for 5 on a Tuesday evening which was so convenient. The establishment is in a great location and the wait time to be seated wasn’t long even though I was a tad surprised since I had a reservation but the staff was highly communicative so we didn’t mind. Our food was great. We had lamb, petite filets and a host of sides. We had one issue and that’s with the lobster mac! Whatever the truffle cream/butter is….it’s not working folks. We are told it’s their number one comped menu item and they are losing money daily. RC, how can we revert back to the original or at least make it an option? Please!

The Lobster Mac is my favorite. This dish is everything!!! I mean, its one of those dishes that could foster a divorce or lead to marriage. All the other dishes are great as well. I would only offer a word of caution on the chocolate cake....its very rich and trust you me not something you want to take large bites of...I recently got the food to go and by the time I got home ( 20 min drive ) the food was still very hot surprisingly...I didn't have to wait long and was in and out...So trust and believe that Lobster Mac will definitely be getting ordered for pick-up again!!

This was our first visit and it was on a whim. Date night and it didn't disappoint. It is by far the best dinner I've ever had! Everything was on point and going forward every steak I eat will be compared to that one. This might be our go to date night/anniversary place 💜

A little disappointed in a couple of things tonight. First let me say the steak, lobster, and calamari were delicious. After ordering we were informed they were out of the crab stuffed mushroom caps. No problem. Couldn’t substitute it with anything but a salad. Okay. Didn’t have decaf coffee because they were out of kcups. Really. A Kuerig. Okay. We can deal with that. But the main thing that bothered me most was the manager walked the room three different times and spoke to every table except ours. I looked straight at him every time, and he wouldn’t make eye contact. It was almost comical. Sad.

This place has changed since it was sold. There is a noticeable change in the restaurant looks and staff. The floors were dirty for this to have been once a five-star restaurant. Some not all of the waiters were not great, and only waiting on guest they assumed would top them. There were no rolls, and he wanted us to share a small bowl of mash potatoes. We were quoted sharing is caring but did not do that at all the tables? Also, there are no bags to put your food in. This place has really gone down. The chicken breast was not well cooked even tho the plate was sizzling This chicken was supposed to be stuff chicken breast, but I never knew chicken breast to have legs. Only one dessert, so my thing is, what if people are vegetarian or allergic to some things no one was asked. This is from a lunch that was for a seminar. I have never known anyone to do that and will probably be my last time going there

I love celebrating my birthday at Ruth’s Chris! Our server Nicole made it that much more special! Thank you so much! My cousin and I will be back next month and we are requesting her.

Our first time eating at this restaurant. The food was excellent best filet I have ever eaten. Nicole our server was wonderful. The manager Tony came to our table twice to make sure everything was good and he was so nice and hilarious. Can't really say enough about how good the food and service was

Let me start by complimenting our server Raymond, he was excellent, professional, attentive, and timely with his service, as were the other staff from the hostess to the individuals who brought bread and assisted Raymond. We celebrated valentines day and had great meals but I made my reservation through open table and was placed in a booth directly beside the front door, while it was snowing outside. I asked if there was somewhere else we could be sat when the hostess suggested we keep our jackets at the table because of the draft from the front door and was told no, there were no other options but we watched several other people be sat at different places after us, so we're we given an undesirable table because I chose to make my reservation through a third party? Would I have had a better and warmer place to sit if I had called directly and spoken to someone to make a reservation instead of using a third party? Everything else was excellent but we definitely decided to forego having drinks, larger meals, and dessert so we could quickly eat and leave to avoid a pretty regular draft from the front door being opened as others came and went.

Ruth Chris was amazing. The service was attentive, prompt, inviting, friendly, and charismatic. The setting was beautifully displayed with white linens and candlelight. Our night revolved around my husband's birthday. The table was decorated for such, and he received a special cake with candle just for him, as well as a picture of the two of us not only captured but printed by our wonderful waitor. The night was a wonderful breath of elegance. We will be back. Thank you.

We had a server by the name of Raymond and he was awesome. Very attentive and kind. The manger came out to ensure everything was satisfactory. The steaks are perfect in both flavor and seasoning. We will be back.

We have eaten at Ruth Chris several times in other states. This is the second year in a row we have eaten at this location for our anniversary and it has always been a wonderful experience. The food is absolutely delicious and the service is even better. Nicole was our waitress and she is fantastic. We absolutely recommend this restaurant and location.

Our waitress Jada was so amazing. It was my husband first time and she made it a great experience. Definitely will be back. The food was so so good. Stuff chicken just melt in your mouth. The lemon drop was delicious

The lobster bisque was the correct consistency and was delicious. I also had crab cakes. These featured plenty of crab and we're flavored just right. My brother enjoyed steak and shrimp.

We had a wonderful birthday dinner for my wife. Lobster bisket was creamy and fresh. Cesar's salad 🥗 was crisp and fresh. Bread was toasted to a crisp finish. We both had creamy whipped potatoes 🥔. Filets with king 🦀 and grilled shrimp. Service was on point for a great experience...

Food is excellent 👌. But the prices are stupid HIGH. Makes me think they just want the rich and wealthy.

Certainly a top place in the area. The staff was friendly and observant. The bill was reasonable. Food is like a place in Baltimore I loved.

My Number 1 Spot for A night out After a hard day. Service unbeatable. Food Always A1 fresh hot and Fast, For a Upscale Joint..

They were very accommodating when I asked to be sat in a different area where it wasn’t a lot of people. They did ask my friend to remove his hat, which is understandable. We were instantly greeted with water and bread. The young lady even found us to-go cups instead for the water. When we were ordering, I ordered the bigger ribeye, but the waiter said that they were out of it, so I went with the smaller one. I also wanted a pineapple martini instead of the pomegranate and it was delicious! I gave four stars instead of five because the first steak (pictured first) that was brought out was horrible. For a place to specialize in steaks, I would ensure that each steak brought out passes some type of inspection. I know that steaks are grilled, and a flame may hit them, which burns the edges. That’s all I tasted from my first bite. So I sent it back. The second was delicious (pictured 2nd) and not burnt at all. I can appreciate the waiter for being so understanding. He was awesome! Food was great, but the atmosphere was not what I expected. They have a dress code that is not enforced. I recieved a confirmation call for my reservation and the lady made sure I understood there was a dress code. But when I got there many people had on shorts, t-shirts, tennis shoes, and sandals. I also asked our server to move us to a booth. He asked someone but he was told the booths are reserved. My wife and I stayed for 3 hours but all of the booths never filled up. Rory was nice but I expected a better experience.

DO NOT order takeout from RC Memphis there is NO Consistency!! Since the pandemic prices have increased but as a frequent customer it’s worth it because of the service and quality. Ruth Chris is a popular chain with a good reputation and most locations are consistent. I’m beyond disappointed with my experience at this location because both quality and service is lacking/questionable. Last week I ordered the stuffed chicken breast, lobster Mac n cheese, chopped salad, and cheesecake ($100). The lobster mac n cheese went from $20 to $34 and tasted like soup. If u like your lobster soaked in watered down cheese sauce you may approve. Mistakes happen so I called and spoke with the manager, David he assured me that on my next visit he would make it right. Yesterday I ordered the same meal except the salad and when I arrived to pick it up they forgot to make the lobster mac n cheese!! The stuffed chicken was not hot! David was not there so I spoke with Kevin and he said he would get the items rushed out. BIG MISTAKE!! The lobster mac n cheese was rushed through a hot oven because the lobster was hard, cheese stiff with no sauce or creamy texture. The chicken was not as good. I wasted my time and money!! I couldn’t post pictures of the lobster mac and cheese but I would love to show corporate or managers to compare. Awful

Best steak house in Memphis. All the staff but in particular Rory our server were very helpful, polite and hospitable. Rory even made a mocktail even though it wasn't on the menu. The decor was relaxing and the food amazing. We can't rate this place highly enough and will definitely be back

This was a real treat...the first time we tried them in st. Louis we were not impressed. But Memphis showed up and showed out. The food and service was amazing!

My lovely lady took me as a surprise dinner for my birthday and it was by far the best birthday outing I've ever experienced from the service to the food everything was perfect and the setting was as comfortable as elegant as you can imagine got to go here again soon A++ !!

Dinner was terrific, as usual. We had the petit sirloin and the lamb chops. Both were seasoned to perfection and cooked to the proper temperature.

The BEST food I've ever had. First time ever to a 5 star restaurant and I'll remember the experience. Thanks to our server Clif for being amazing and thank you to Christopher, Donald, and all of the cooks for making such a spectacular meal.

Amazing food!!!!

Oh my goodness the atmosphere was warm and inviting! We were immediately greeted. The hostess confirmed our reservation. I didn't know there were Covid restrictions in place with only 4 to a table. We were a party of five. We sat in an envlosed section 3 at one table 2 at the other. We were introduced to Rory our fantastically attentive server!! What an awesome gentleman!! We were celebrating my daughter's birthday. They brouggt her a signed card sprinkled confetti on the table. My daughter was feeling mighty special!! We looked at the menu 👀 as Rory explained the backstory. We all ordered steaks and a side. You could hear the steaks sizzling on the plate before he got to the table. The flavorful aroma was wafting in the air like a beckoning fantasy! The sheer tenderness alone was a winner. The taste was full bodied and worth every penny!! The sides were perfection as well!! The attention to detail was appreciated. At the end of the meal my daughter was presented with a birthday cheesecake complete with a candle and a chocolate inscription on the plate. She was also given a souvenir picture! This is an event none of us will forget.

We were celebrating our Anniversary and made it special. When we made the reservations they asked if it were a special occasion, so we said Anniversary. They had those petals on the table, a special visit from the manager, and a special dessert gratis!!! The steak was prepared just right and I loved their creamed spinach. The crab cakes were best my husband had ever had, my first but delicious!

The filet is so tender you can cut it with a butter knife! You won't miss the steak knife. So good I forgot to take a picture. Did include a shot of the dessert. The staff was excellent. A perfect dining experience. Well worth it!

Raymond and Cory were great. Fast service and staff kept us updated on our food. I had the fried calamari, lamb chops, mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts. This was my first experience and I enjoyed it to the fullest‼️
