Friendly and cosy vibe, great interior and comfortable atmosphere. Nice to go with friends as it’s not too loud. autism-friendly. Debbie and Stan are always friendly and welcoming. Honestly one of the top bars in brum.

This a very nice bar well situated in the Gay Village. There's comfy seating, good music and a great atmosphere. The thing that makes this a 5 satr review are the staff. Lee and Stan were very welcoming and made me feel right at home from the minute I walked in. I had a fun night and will definitely be back.

Really friendly bar and a great place to start the night. The only thing I’d suggest is using fresh lime instead of cordial. It was a really bad vodka soda and lime. Even the straight bars have switched to fresh now.

Great atmosphere and friendly vibe! You can actually hear yourselves talk and have good conversation in a funky and relaxed place while enjoying quality music. Staff were very welcoming and funny too!

Won’t be going back. We only popped in as they keep saying use it or lose it. Normally go to missing or the fountain but which we’ll stick to going forward. The person that served us was more interested continuing their conversation with someone than welcoming us. Served us without saying a single word and shoved a card machine at us. Never again. This was last night. We had one and left, never to return.

I don't always pop by equator on my travels (although, I really should) but when I have, the service provided by the friendly bar staff has been absolutely fantastic! Drinks are reasonably priced and not overly expensive in comparison to other bars around the city centre as a whole and a chilled atmosphere too. Overall, a lovely little independent bar to visit for relaxing and enjoying few drinks! ☺️

A small bar, but a great place to meet and chat. I was there to celebrate Villa & Proud's 5th birthday. They did a special claret and blue cocktail just for the event.

Popped in for a drink and was very warmly welcomed by both bar staff and customers . The bar is softly lit and very relaxing.... seating was comfortable and it was airy either the glass frontage open. Would absolutely recommend to anyone for a friendly relaxed evening out. Great music... not to loud so conversations could be had. Definitely give this bar a visit.... you will go again and again.

Lovely atmosphere, super clean, fine bar and mature crowd. My girlfriend and I have thoroughly enjoyed having a few drinks and having a chat with the friendly barman. Will be back again

The man at bar was rude to me and my friends he did not seem to emit a pleasant social environment which made myself and others feel unwanted The drinks were overpriced and not too a respectable standard I feel cheated and disappointed will NOT be returning

Fab bar where you can actually have a conversation because the music is at the right volume! Plus the songs are great too! Super friendly staff (shout out to Stan!) and a fab setting make this a venue I’d definitely recommend 👍

A beautiful friendly bar who welcome new and old customers with a friendly smile. I love the atmosphere with a nice choice of music. There is a nice sitting out area with table and chairs where you can relax and people watch. Equator offer a fine selection of drinks and some tasty tempting cocktails.

Great bar, good music and friendly staff

Lovely cosy type bar and seems to be one of the quieter ones if you want to get away from the noisier, louder ones. Good decor and seating. A shame on the night we visited the music and lights were turned off around 930pm so we drank up as quickly as we could to leave. Probably wouldn't revisit based on this experience, but can imagine a nice bar and atmosphere on a different night

Nice quiet and friendly bar, just the place to relax with a drink, more mature clientele, great background music, not blasting away.
