We both thoroughly enjoyed the four nights we stayed at the Mint Lodge from May 29. The lodge is in a quiet location next to a small waterfall which was just outside our patio area. The lodge was extremely comfortable and spacious, the sauna and hot tub was so enjoyable after hard days walking up Pen y Fan, Three Cliffs Bay and the Waterfall walks. On arrival the owner described all the facilities at the lodge and we were amazed at the research and planning they did before construction started to produce these unique lodges. We would have no hesitation in recommending staying here if you want a truly enjoyable eco experience.

We had a lovely 4 night stay in Rosemary Lodge. The lodge was beautiful and spotlessly clean. We brought our dog with us and found all the doggie extras provided, very welcome and thoughtful. A very peaceful area, but with facilities close by and lots of lovely walks. The hot tub and sauna were also a great bonus!

My wife and I plus our two dogs had a lovely long weekend at the Mint lodge. The sauna and hot tub were fantastic and the lodge is set in a peaceful area next to a waterfall. The lodge its self was very spacious and all the cooking facilities were excellent + Very comfortable and large bed. We had a lovely meal out in the local town at the recommended Blas which was brilliant. I had a lovely massage in the lodge.

A great stay at Brecon View. Our weekend was relaxing and comfortable we made good use of the hottub and sauna and also Garnant golf club where we had two nice meals and where the staff and club members were very friendly. The lodge (Thyme) was modern with character the bedrooms and bathrooms were excellent. The only very small criticism were the two small leather chairs which we found a little uncomfortable and low (could be our ages 😉) the settee was fine and as we sat outside a lot it didn't spoil the weekend but if we were to visit during colder weather then two more comfy seats would be desirable. It was lovely to sit outside and watch the swirrels climbing the trees and running around. Overall a great weekend, hope to return in the future.

We’ve just had a really wonderful 4 nights here at Brecon View. Our own hot tub and sauna looking out onto peaceful woodland, and extremely comfortable beds, meant we left feeling totally relaxed and refreshed. The lodges feel tranquil and comfortable, as well as amazingly eco friendly. It’s so well located for local beauty spots and things to do, we will absolutely be coming back to enjoy the area more. Thank you for a great stay!

We had our second stay this weekend and loved it just as much as the first ! A lovely chilled break with a warm welcome. Will definitely be booking again soon you will not get fed up of this place to switch off for a relaxing few days. We also went into town this weekend which is only a 5 minute drive i would highly recommend the blas for Sunday lunch

We had a wonderful stay! The lodge is really clean and comfortable. The green tech such as passive heating and boiler tap works really well too - an inspiration. The hot tub and sauna were excellent. We appreciated the bird feeders and local wildlife too. Will definitely visit again. Do visit Frank's ice-creams and Castle Carreg locally too! Do go up to the golf course for wonderful views and excellent chips on their terrace!

Just returned from brecon view eco village, what a superb stay we were lucky enough to have 4 gorgeous days! The lodge is superbly decorated & equipped. Everything you need is supplied. The hot tub was fantastic and also the sauna! Checked daily. The bed was super comfy the pillows to die for never wanted to get up! Highly recommend and we will definitely be returning.

We stayed at the Red Kite Hideaway at the end of August for four nights. The lodge was perfect for our stay and we enjoyed the location and local walks and also travelled all over the Brecon Beacons by car. There was lots of useful information about the area provided before we went. The lodge was clean, warm and comfortable and the shower was perfect with the added touch of the toiletries and luxury towels. It was very peaceful overnight and we enjoyed being able to watch television from the cosy bed after a busy day walking. The kitchen had everything we needed. We did not take our dog - it would have been a possibility as blankets and bowls provided and only a small extra charge. I would say it is best suited to a small dog. There is a lead hook in the outdoor space but this area is not fully enclosed so a dog could get out . I would recommend it if you want a peaceful retreat and is ideal to get away from it all. There is some early traffic visiting the golf course up the hill but the we were not disturbed by it. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay.

We greatly enjoyed our stay in Thyme lodge. We were very impressed with the high spec finish and loved using the sauna and hot tub. Blas in Ammanford is well worth a visit, we enjoyed a delicious brunch on Saturday morning (be sure to book a table) We are looking forward to planning a return visit to Brecon View soon

Perfect hideaway for a couple and their dog. Hottub view was amazing. Everything you needed in the place. Nice local park for dog walks. Really clean, quiet and peaceful. Felt really relaxed the whole time. Would definitely return.
