Wonderful owners, incredible food. Accommodated our group on Saturday, one of our party has issues with accessibility but the staff were so very kind and couldn’t have done more for us. The food was absolutely delicious as well! Would recommend in a heartbeat. So thankful for helping us wish our Sam a very happy birthday.

Visited this evening for a quick bite to eat. Ordered chicken curry and beef curry . . Absolutely fab food. Lovely staff too. . And so welcoming The food looks like on the menu . They look after you .way better than some pricier restaurants in harbourne . Great with allergy restrictions too.

My new favourite Chinese in Birmingham!! A must try! The restaurant is really nice to sit in but we took out. Would highly recommend. Flavourful and fresh Chinese food. The service was great both over the phone and in person. Had the salt and pepper fries, chicken chow mien, beef black bean and egg rice and would recommend them all. Can’t wait to come back!!

Even though this restaurant is not in our area and due to local restaurants and takeaways being of poor quality we thought we would try wok chi, mainly because of the great reviews. So glad we did. Wonderful warm welcome from a very pleasant chap called Alfie followed by a fast efficient service but in no way rushed or Intrusive .Food really lovely fresh and plentiful and we have large appetites. Will definitely return again very soon. Looking forward to it already.

We had crispy squid to start which was to die for. We both tried different things for mains and both were delicious. The staff here are so friendly, the overall service was fantastic. Managed to get the last table, the venue could be bigger. But we will definitely be coming back. 10/10

5 star all round. What an amazing place this is. The food is ALWAYS fantastic. Cooked to perfection and tastes incredible. We regularly visit here, when my father comes over from Stockholm, Sweden. We went two times in one week because we love it so much. The owners are just fabulous. They’re incredibly friendly, welcoming and have two beautiful children who helps out at times - both of which are extremely professional and polite. Highly recommend and encourage all to visit here and support a superb fabulous business. Just love it

I visit this place on my way from Manchester to home with my daughter. She wanted to eat some Chinese food. It was a nice experience. The menu it's not very big but the quality of the meat and the portions are really good. If I have to say something was bad, Ibthink they should cut the meat in smaller pieces because they don't give you knives, so it's not easy to eat some of the pieces. But honestly this is a comment just to improve. We live 90 minutes far from this restaurant and we want to come back with all the family. The team wan fantastic, very passionate about their job and really friendly. Good balance between quality, quantity and price. Well done!!

Had satay chicken with rice. This was better than the Singapore style fried vermercilli I had previously.

Have been wanting to come here for months and I wasn't disappointed at all. Flavours were sensational, temperature was perfect, friendly staff. I ordered the vermicelli noodles and the spare ribs with chilli salt and pepper which was yummy. Looking forward to my next visit

Always excellent quality at Wok Chi along with great service. It is not cheap, but you notice the difference in quality and will not want to go anywhere else. Wok Chi also has 5H hygiene rating, which is extremely rare amongst takeaways.

Epic Chinese restaurant/takeaway. The owner is the happiest guy in the world and really friendly giving cudos to my poor attempt at mandarin. Crispy shredded beef and prawn and scallop noodles were only surpassed by ribs and sticky sweet soy and sesame wings. Eyes far too big for bellies but looking forward to lunch tomorrow 😀

We are totally satisfied by a late night visit, delicious and warm Wonton noodle soup is perfect for winter. Great cooking, nice and tidy interior as well ◕‿◕

Delicious freshly cooked food and generous portions. Last time we visited, they were very busy and we had a bit of a wait for our order so the owner gave us a couple of beers to pass the time, which was a nice touch and appreciated. Highly recommend.

Visited Wok Chi for the first time due to several recommendations from others, happy to say it lived up to its expectations- lovely food came out at a perfect temperature, the portions sizes are amazing. The man who welcomed us into the restaurant was very welcoming making it a comfortable environment to enjoy our food in. Would totally recommend the soy honey wings and squid for starters overall experience was amazing! Will be back soon thanks 😊

Looks like chinesse food, but it doesn't taste like it. The food it is very bland, and the stir fry is full of black pepper and soggy noodles. I don't recommend them....

An amazingly good restaurant on Harborne High Street serving take outs during lockdown and not yet open as cafe. Food freshly prepared with an eye so beauty as well as taste and nutrition. Reasonably priced and always a great welcome/service from the owner.

Brilliant place to eat nice and friendly staff. Very clean and tasty food well worth it.

Excellent food and service at a very popular restaurant on Harborne High Street. Alfie and his staff know how to look after its customers with really delicious freshly cooked food at a very reasonable price. Cant praise them highly enough as am always welcome as Alfie is probably one of the most friendliest guys you could meet. Not only that every time customers leave the restaurant the tables, chairs and floors are meticulously cleaned. Other chain pubs and restaurants in Harborne should take a leaf from the Wok Chi for the quality they provide and that is why Birmingham Live have them listed as one of the top 50 restaurants to try. Need I say more!!

The best small Chinese restaurant in Birmingham

Went to Wok Chi recently. A simple cosy eatery/take away, very clean and attentive staff. The food was awesome! The spring rolls were superb, non-greasy, fresh and piping hot with lovely dipping sauce. The lime and wasabi seafood rice was great too. I thought I was going to breathe fire from my nostrils! Good portion sizes too. Give them a try.

view of Wok Chi At The Harborne High Street . This was a good name and i was expecting a somewhat pricey but good dinner. It was half fulfilled and no prizes for guessing which half. The chow-min chicken in brands essence of chicken looked and tasted like frozen chicken.

Brilliantly cooked Chinese food. Very quick as well so ideal of you only have an hour for lunch (you can order to take away too). Everything is good but currently I'm in love with the vegetable spring rolls :-)

How could one possibly consider this as a restaurant? The menu is limited and the customer service definitely needs a lot of improvement. This could barely make it into a street food stall league, if you know what I mean.

Lovely place! Already on my second visit and planning already to bring my family as well, when they will come to visit. A welcoming little place with a few tables, lovely staff and amazing quality food at the fast food price. Mind you, it can get busy and delays could happen but nonetheless is because everyone wants some of this great food and staff can only try to do their best, whilst maintaining their professionalism and serving everyone with their attentively prepared dishes. The food is very tasty and prepared with good ingredients - I mean, I got more king prawns in my dish than double priced dishes in other oriental restaurants. I am very happy with that and also surprised that everyone seems to know each other and come in as visiting friends. I like it! I feel welcome! And I will come again! 👌🏻
