The Moxhull Hall is one of my most favourite venues ever! It will make a stunning backdrop for your wedding. From a photographer's perspective, I appreciate the good quality natural light as well as the stunning gardens that are so well looked after! The staff are amazing and they will make sure your wedding day runs smoothly. I'm looking forward to coming back to the Moxhull Hall soon!

An ideal wedding venue. Everything was organised smoothly and the staff were so efficient you didn't notice them. Beautiful gardens for photos and relaxing in.

Went here for a wedding. Location was gorgeous. Meals served at the wedding breakfast and canapés were very well portioned.

Came for a wedding here. The place itself was beautiful. There are so many original features. The decor and flowers were all fresh. The gardens and the buildings were immaculate. The marquee was stunning and very spacious. The staff at the counter and the ones working all around are very friendly and are more than welcoming. There is ample parking free parking outside with no restrictions. On a side note, I do believe you can come for afternoon tea. The natural outdoor plants are gargantuan and so fresh. Lovely to look at whilst having a cuppa. The grass/lawn was freshly cut.

Wow, Moxhull Hall !! The perfect venue it’s intimate but grand, relaxed yet formal. We chose an Autumn wedding in November the building and gardens were spectacular. Danielle was our wedding coordinator and all the way along she was helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. On the day she worked tirelessly behind the scenes and made sure everything ran smoothly. Canapes, wedding breakfast and evening food was tremendous and topped off by perfect service. The venue and staff made a wonderful day even better. ❤️

Lovely venue beautiful grounds. Great food. Couple things let it down was check out time 10.30 too early can't even get a lie in. No extractor in bathroom can get musty in there needs fresh air vent. Great selection of bathroom goodies. Bed SO comfy. Needed more time to enjoy it I think the full English breakfast could have been more exciting. If you're vegetarian portion a bit small scrambled egg a bit too mushy but pork sausages are HUGE!! Grounds are stunning perfect for wedding. Lots of car spaces Great selection of teas coffee and fresh juice overall would go back hopefully can fix these minor things.

Moxhull Hall was everything and more than we could have ever hoped for in a wedding venue. Besides the obviously stunning grounds and building, it's the staff that really make this place work. The organisation and planning was done with professional care without losing the personal touch. It truly felt like we were the only and most important wedding they were putting on when in reality they do many of these, which you will know from their experience. We want to give a special thanks to Danielle who has the be the best wedding coordinator anyone could have hoped for! Also a big thanks to Xenia and the team – may of our wedding guests came from Germany so the staff translated signs and breakfast menus into German to make them feel more welcome. Most of our guests are still raving about how unique the venue is, and how diligent the staff were. If you're looking for a place for your big day then look no further because the perfect wedding venue exists and we are extremely grateful we stumbled on it on a rainy November afternoon. Very nice location, we were guests at a wedding and stayed the night. The evening marquee was very good. Food was excellent.

I have no idea how I can put into words how exceptional this place is. We got married here 6 days ago now- and from the moment I visited Moxhull 18 months ago, I just knew it was our wedding venue. I think it’s because Moxhull is more than just a beautiful building- it’s the support which comes from the wedding coordinators, and the little touches which are were scattered throughout the day which made this venue so incredible (like greeting us before the aisle with a glass of water each, so we all were hydrated, like the tiny soup shots before the meal, and the cuddles the next morning when I was feeling overwhelmed). Everything about the venue is sensational. I can’t leave a review without mentioning our wedding coordinator, Danielle. She was simply, the best. After she showed us around our original viewing 18 months ago, I requested that she would be our coordinator. I loved her energy, her infectious smile, and how nothing was too much trouble. Danielle made our wedding day perfect. I am a super anxious person, and was so worried about the weather, but no worries- Danielle came to us during the morning of the wedding and outlined how the day would go. Her confidence put everyone at ease, and I feel like no words I could say could do this lady justice. 100 times Danielle, thank you. Now the venue- wow. We opted for an outside ceremony, in the middle of thunder (kept everyone on their toes!), and then had our breakfast in the main hall. Most reviews on here mention the food, and mine will be no different. The food is out of this world! We had flash fried beef to start, chicken pie for main and cheesecake for desert. I have had so many guests come up to me congratulating us on the food! One of which owns a pie company in Yorkshire, and he couldn’t believe how exceptional the pie was. Every part of the day went smoothly, and that’s because of the exceptional organisation skills of the whole team at Moxhull. I will forever be grateful to you guys for making my dreams come true. 6 guests have messaged since saying it’s the best wedding they have ever been to, and I honestly couldn’t agree more (although I’m Ofcourse a bit biased). Thank you so much to Andreas, Danielle and the rest of the staff at Moxhull. I promise if you are between venues, and Moxhull hall is one of your options, you will NOT be disappointed. Easily the best decision we made for our wedding day! Thank you so much everyone, Emily (the now Mrs McGill) xxxx

We had the wedding of our dreams at Moxhull Hall! The building, the grounds and the staff are all absolutely phenomenal! Gary looked after us throughout the whole lead up and the big day itself. He couldn't do enough for us! Such a kind, funny and caring man who made sure all of our wishes were granted. I am very fussy with my food, unlike my now husband (as Gary knows) but he made sure all of my requests were possible. All of our guests couldn't believe the size of the food portions we had at our wedding breakfast and how amazing it all tasted! Even the pizzas for the evening food, everyone loved it all! Me and my bridesmaids got ready in the Bridal Studio, it was great having such a big space for everyone to get ready. It was lovely how each part of the day moved to a different area, rather than being in the same room all day. Starting off with the reception drinks in the conservatory, wedding breakfast in the main hall, then moving onto the starlit marquee for the evening. It all flowed so well. Everyone commented on how attentive Gary was the whole day! He made sure everything was going smoothly for everyone and was there whenever anyone asked for anything. The bedrooms were so clean and warm amd the beds so comfy! Breakfast the next day was again amazing! We just want to say the biggest thank you to Gary and the rest of the team at Moxhull. You gave us the wedding day of our dreams and all of our guests couldn't speak highly enough of the venue and all of the staff! Thank you so much! Stephanie & Callum Chandler

What a wonderful place. Visited here for my cousins wedding, the building and gardens are just beautiful. Staff were polite, professional and friendly. Sit down meal was all delicious and I'm very fussy lol. The marquee in the evening had a great atmosphere and made the wedding an amazing day. Wouldn't hesitate to go back again. Thank you to all the staff and especially the team of gardeners who keep the grounds looking fantastic.

I was invited to a family wedding, here, back in June. The grounds are sumptuous; with interweaving paths, a magnificent water fountain pond and a large lawn. It's great for photos, with the old arch ways, as a back drop. I stayed in the courtyard, which is along the driveway from the main building. The bed was comfy, the room was quiet from the double glazing. I was a bit confused at first, as I couldn't see any tea / coffee and washing / shower soap. In the main wardrobe were sachets of tea, coffee and a selection of biscuits. Whilst in the draw, of the bathroom sink, there were soap packets. The bed was lovely & Soft, and everything was nice and clean. The rear outside patio, facing the garden, is where you assemble for drinks; which are reasonably priced. From there we had a lovely three course meal, in the long dinning room; with the main attendees on a table crossing the front. Weddings take place beneath the trees, with seating around a small wooden stage. In the evening they opened a separate ballroom, in an outdoor gazebo in the grounds. It had a large black and white, decorated tiled dance floor. Kept cool by two large giant refrigerator type air conditioners. A large taco counter, a sweet counter, and mini bar supplied any supplements you needed. A very good wedding experience, the staff were helpful, and discreet.

Thanks to Gary for giving us the tour today, he was very informative and really sells the experience to you (not that it needs much selling). We visited for a friends wedding back in November and after such a fantastic experience we are now looking to book for our own wedding.

Wow! What can we say! From the first visit to Moxhull Hall and meeting Andreas in August 2018, we knew this was the venue for us! The venue itself and the grounds are truly stunning. We initially booked our wedding for August 2020, but for obvious reasons had to postpone. Moxhull Hall were so accommodating and made the whole thing stress free! The run up to the day was great, nothing was too much trouble and Xenia was always there to help at the end of the phone. The day itself could not have been more perfect, from start to finish. Andreas promised us good weather, (despite the weather forecast predicting rain) and guess what, we had sun! The food was second to none (and we had some picky eaters)! Our guests have all commented on how beautiful the venue is and how superb the food was. The best food ever! Andreas was there every step of the way and we cannot thank him enough for making our day so magical. A massive thank you to the whole team for the excellent service you provided for us! You really did make it a day we will never forget. We just wish we could do it all again! Would not hesitate in recommending this venue to anyone!

We recently organised a surprise birthday party for my mum at Moxhull Hall. From visiting to look around and discuss the possible menu choices, right through to the actual day, the staff and communication were excellent. Moxhull Hall has been beautifully and tastefully renovated, with gorgeous grounds that are really well maintained. Every member of staff we came across was helpful, friendly and polite. Moxhull Hall really does have a fabulous team! The choice of menu and drinks is good, the service first class and Moxhull Hall enabled us to create a bespoke event that was truly special. Some of our guests stayed overnight. The room rate was very reasonable for a top quality environment, with snowy white, crisp linen, a comfortable bed and it was spotlessly clean. We also enjoyed a delicious breakfast served in the conservatory with our guests. We highly recommend Moxhull Hall as a venue - whether that be a birthday, wedding, or any other event that you want to be special, where you want to be really well looked after and welcomed, all in your own personal, private location. Fabulous!

We held our wedding at MH 28/9/22. We can only say positive things about our wedding experience. Superb and versatile venue, staff so good, nothing was a problem, food was excellent, and our master of ceremonies, Gary, was excellent in the delivery of the whole event on the day.

My colleagues were staying at this wonderful premises and suggested I come and join them for dinner. Absolutely sublime from start to finish, the staff at reception and on the bar couldn't have been more helpful and the waiting staff (serving some of the best food I have ever tasted) were a fantastic. I will certainly be back, thank you for a lovely evening.

We attended a wedding here. The setting was beautiful, the food was wonderful (I'm a vegetarian) and the staff were very friendly and very professional. The evening party in the marquee was excellent, a brilliant band and a perfect atmosphere for the occasion.

Had an amazing time at a wedding on 19th June, everything was absolutely perfect, Andreas and his staff could not have done anything more to give Andy and April a perfect day. To the previous reviewer of the same wedding who I don’t know, what on earth were they expecting? I completely disagree with the ‘not posh’ comment! April and Andy had a wonderful day, having had our wedding there in 1995 I would still highly recommend this venue.

Beautiful countryside location, Old Manor House type property which was a gorgeous setting for a very well organised wedding. The rooms were well furnished and spotless, the food was absolutely first rate. The ceremony itself took place in a little dell outdoors, but there was a lovely dining room, and a permanent 'marquee' for the evening do. The grounds are well maintained and very picturesque. Loved the topiary piano! Highly recommended.

We went to Moxhull Hall for a wake and the grounds and the lounge were excellent. The buffet food was good and the staff friendly and professional. The drinks were not badly priced All in all recommended for a family and friends get together such as wedding, christening or birthday and even a wake. The lounge overflowed into a garden and was large and well kept.
