It's a shopping centre, but I come here more for the bars and restaurants. Most of them have great seating areas with lovely views of the canals which are great in the summer. Things can get a little pricey here, but it's to be expected with the location. If you visit it coming from the direction of Brindley Place, you get a nice canal walk en route.

Great place to go! Nearly forgot to change my bowling shoes when we went to lane7, they served me alcoholic drink with out telling me it was alcoholic. Slushies are normally not alcoholic so I had no issue until I tasted it 🙈

Good place for having a cookie on a comfortable place. There are expensive shops and gallery art. Harvey Nichols is a good place to buy good perfumes

Features a vast array of malls, restaurants, bars and cinema. Good views and walks along the canal, just a pleasant place to connect to nature in brum

Visited art gallery and local shops. First visit since Covid. Recommended but pricey drinks and meals. Retail outlets open and thought it would be busier around 12.00 but perhaps people do not have money to spend at present.

Easy enough to find and very clean. The parking is tight. There were not many spaces available at 7pm and I had to park between two SUV’s. Could not get out of the car it’s that tight.

Very modern and sophisticated shopping centre. Seemed very clean and handy with the car park below. Didn’t seem a great deal of shops but maybe I didn’t explore it enough.

Beautiful place with lots of restaurants and bars, great for a day out or good meal. Beautiful canal view that sometime might be obscured by the dirt that is floating over the water. Sometime might be quite crowded, but in general is ok

The bridge of padlock in Birmingham just leading up to The Mail Box. Great view and always cool because of the lake.

Really like this place very much. Staffs are very kind. Indoor area is closed early, but you still can go through the corridor and choose a nice restaurant and bar to enjoy the great nighttime just next to the canal.

Stayed at the AC Marriott which was excellent. Some amazing shops inside of the mailbox, Harvey Nic's the cream of the crop without a doubt. Some great independent shops too, with some great designer shops scattered about. The whole place oozes class, spotlessly clean, with a lovely relaxed vibe going on. Plenty of places to eat and drink, with two hairdressers thrown in for good measure. Everything you need really for a great day out. Close to the canal and a quick walk to the train station. taxi rank straight outside to get you home. However if you drive, lots of parking available. highly recommend a visit.

The Mailbox was underwhelming than expected. Yes, it has all the brands and everything. Really loved the art gallery at the front. A lot of the shops were closed inside, probably due to Covid. What I really loved was how you could go across to the other side and you come across the beautiful view of the canals and the restaurants surrounding the place.

A perfect venue for a stop after a long walk in town. Really chilled atmosphere with lounge-style settees and a lovely cafe in the middle of the mall. Coffee was excellent, the cafe had an assortment of fresh breads and pastries. I only had a coffee. After coming from the Christmas market and having eaten all the food there was on offer, I couldn't eat anymore. This little spot in the Mailbox is brilliant.

The building, great. The places that aren't food and drink though, there's no point to them. I don't even understand how they survive unless they overcharge the gullible! There's nothing in there for the every day person and I work in there on a decent wage! The rent prices also are way higher than they should be. I got twice the size for 1/3 of the price literally round the corner with a nicer view that isn't a construction site. Really does need new management considering all the above. Would make a great nightspot over shops for one idea.

Never got our water we asked for and the sashimi was sub par at best. Not very fresh. The Maki was okay but not worth the £16 per roll price point. Staff needs better training also.

It is lovely, clean, and spacious, a nice place to either hang out in or walk through. They have a nice selection of high-end shops, a bakery, and an art gallery. The BBC has offices there. Following the protests a few weeks ago, it was interesting to see how the windows had been covered with stickers.

Well located close to city centre. Good prices. Electronic system worked well. We had a discount whilst staying in nearby hotel (Holiday Inn Express).

It is a big good shopping mall. I stayed in the holiday inn hotel near by. So I used to have my dinner in one of the Indian restaurants (indico)in this mailbox. It was good.

Many units empty and the shops that were open seemed to have few customers. Has a generally run-down feel, in need of refurbishment. Saved from a 2 star review by the range of restaurants and bars around the canal at the back.

Too small, I use as a corridor to get home. Shops are too expensive, not suitable for working class. The centre looks new and clean, good lighting and atmosphere. Good restaurant choices, inside and outside. Good place to go out for dinner. Also good location near stations and city centre. Parking is expensive.

  • 3/5 Moonbeam M. 3 years ago on Google
Mmm, where to start. I don't come over to this side very often however as I was staying at Malmaison, decided to have a look. A lot of the shop units are empty and it was extremely quiet. I guess this is down to the lack of business people being in the city at the moment. However, I didnt think the selection of shops was great. A few nice restaurants but not really anything to write home about. Some nice cityscape views

Lovely selection or restaurants and bars here. I used to live round the corner many moons ago and it took some time for the units to fill, but it's really at its best now. A busy atmosphere and very pretty environment. Wish i had a bit more time and money to spend here!
