We went here last night for the first time food was delicious everywhere was spotless staff were very friendly and attentive was lovely chatting to the owner about his journey and how long he’s been in business we will return for sure Dawn & Simon

A Saturday night meal at Akash was just about satisfactory. Despite being nearly full, the atmosphere was sterile. The service didn’t charm, which may have contributed. My biryani was unremarkable, as was my partner’s chicken ‘Balti’. It hadn’t been cooked in the bowl it was served in, which wasn’t hot, as a balti should be. The dishes did arrive swiftly. Prices are fairly low - many around £10 - but quality lags far behind pricier places (i.e. Akram’s) in Stirchley’s balti mile. I’d curry on further south down the Pershore Road if I were you.

Ive been going here for 15 years. Never let me down. Was a table of 16 for my birthday on a saturday night and it was great.

Akash is a gem of a place for a curry. Been visiting for over 25yrs. Service, food and atmosphere always good. It's a small place, so would always recommend ringing ahead to book a table. Photo is a Balti Chicken Pathia - boshhhhhhhhh!

If you wanna eat in, great! But that goes for most places because you don't pay until you've finished eating. Ordered tikka masala got a vindaloo! I'm not one to complain about hot food, I like hot food but I really enjoy a masala so thats what I asked for! It wasn't even the right colour to be a masala it was brown! I ended up mixing a load of cream with it and it was still blowing my head off! Not the enjoyable experience I was looking for! Really disappointed and won't be ordering again

First time ordering from here. Curry had 4 pieces of chicken breast inside and 2 1/4 pieces of potato.. could have been more meat! But was tasty non the less. Naan wasn’t that fresh at all, rice was nice. Food wasn’t hot barely warm, arrived within 25 mins of ordering. Wouldn’t order again, there are plenty of other nice Indian restaurants in the local area to try.

I just walked up the road and I was looking for some good Indian takeaway and I must tell you that I'm not desepointed. The food was delicious!

Pre Christmas Balti after trip to Attic brewery. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Starter (Fish Pakora) and main (Balti chicken morchi) Very nice and Keema nan & rice good. Wine (Bottle of red) was reasonably priced and very palatable. £70 bill for 3 of us was good value for money plus got a 2023 diary too. Will definitely be returning next time we're in the Stirchley area.

Very nice food, full of flavour and plenty of meat in the curry. Very friendly and efficient service as well and all at a reasonable price. I think this will be my go-to place now whenever I fancy a curry.

Suoerb little place. Its been there 56 years and the manager for 41 years! Great food, real chicken! Not the cubed frozen stuff.. wonderful menu!

Top quality Balti curries! Really friendly Manager who was very helpful in getting a custom made egg Balti - highly recommend and we will definitely return soon :)

Group of us visited. Made to feel Welcome straight away. The waiter had been there for 40 years and helped us through the menu. Service was excellent from start to finish. He even came over to say we'd overpaid until we explained we'd added a tip. Stirchley is so up and coming and this is a great place to visit. I had half a tandoori chicken with sag aloo. Fantastic. All other members of the party really enjoyed the food. Not a complaint from all 8 of us. We all had something different and all arrived at the same time.
