It's really nice to walk around this area, such a happening place. I was in Birmingham with family for Easter weekend, had a walkthrough after visiting sealife centre on Friday, unfortunately missed the last boat ride. Came back again on Sunday walked all over this place, got onto a board ride with Shareborne Wharf, a pleasant experience. I would definitely suggest visiting this place, boat journey for 1 hour. Not sure when I will visit Birmingham again, if there is any - will not miss visiting Brindley place. Even if you don't party drinking (like me), I suggest have a walk here, visit restaurants, have a good milkshake from Ed's easy diner.

⭐ Brindley is an amazing place. πŸšΆπŸ’ƒWalking along the river is relaxing. πŸ‘― Children can enjoy visiting the Legoland. 🍽 Some may choose one favourite restaurant each time they visit. πŸƒπŸš΄ Well, jogging and cycling along the canal are healthy activties too.

Brindleyplace is a vast development area of shops, bars, restaurants and entertainment areas/in the west district of the Birmingham main line canal/s system/s.... Named after Brinkley street which got it's name afterJames Brindley, the canal engineer who designed/built the Birmingham mainline canals/systems... It has numerous moorings for canal boaters along with all the Canal and River Trust boaters facilities as well... Also known as a Cultural Landmark.. Fantastic area surrounded by the Birmingham canals, lots of canal boats and historical canalside buildings and bridges too..some of these dating back to the 1800's or earlier when the Industrial Revolution began in the UK....(ps. I'm not a historian..)

A great place to spend some time with friends or close ones. Its situated off the broad street. There is ample parking around the area. The place hosts a wide variety of places to eat and drink with a multitude of cuisines. You can walk along the canal or have a jog around. The ICC and the Arena are easy access for any shows or conferences. You could spend a day doing a raft of things including Sea World.

Lovely place. If the weather is good you will sit near Fontan or play pétanque on the bench if raining you could enjoy coffee in the glass cafe ☺️

A great little area of the city, a lush little stroll along the canals with some excellent pubs and cafes on offer. In the heart of Brindley Place a lot of chain bars and pubs offering some good happy hours and cosy settings.

An historic area of Birmingham where old meets new & the best way to see it by far is onboard Victoria an authentic canal narrow boat. The boat captain & lady crew were very welcoming and entertaining, they made the trip a real pleasure.

The city was buzzing after the Commonwealth Games. The canal area was sparkling in the sunshine and the flowers were blooming. A great place for a cocktail and food anytime of the day

Positives: my 3.5 year old enjoyed it. Positioned well if you're visiting the city in the train. It's indoors so doesn't matter if the weather is bad. Got a two for one discount on a cereal box. Seemed pretty clean and tidy Negative: very expensive. Online price Β£20 per person but had a voucher. Parking near area is pricey and still you'll need to walk. Surrounding areas are cobbled so bad for wheelchairs and buggies. We were in and out in 50 minutes and that included a 5 min snack break. Children under 3 probably won't enjoy it much as they won't understand all the written information. Probably best for children over three. I went on a weekday during term time and it was fairly quiet but after we went in, a school trip came with probably 40 kids. Bottom line, yes I'd recommend if you have slightly older children and you have a voucher.

Visited this area of Birmingham as part of my sons graduation. We were there about 8 hours fir which the car park cost Β£14.00. It was literally a few minutes walk from the venue, very convenient. If you park further away there are cheaper car parks. The area is vibrant and buoyant. Busy but not crowded I didn't feel intimidated. The Commonwealth games had finished 3 days before so still a very uplifting atmosphere. So many cafes, bars and restaurants to choose from. Many were busy with it being graduation day so we opted for slug and lettuce treating ourselves to a bottle of prosecco to mark the occasion. Very unexpected how welcomed and friendly everyone was. Much clearer and tidier than anticipated. Shall be returning again soon

Great mixed-use development by the canal with restaurants, bars, and lots of entertainment options such as table tennis. The juxtaposition of the buildings with the trees provide a scenic view for those who are in the area. There’s space to sit on the steps by the water or on the seats in the multiple green spaces.

Great area to visit. Attractions, restaurants, bars, and other things, all by a scenic canal setting. Now more convenient to get to since the new metro stop was placed nearby. Also been on a barge party that set off from here before, which was fun.

Another area in Birmingham that has seen some upgrades since I was last there. I loved the mix of old Birmingham and new Birmingham... canals, walkways, restaurants and shops

Looked for something to eat at 5.30, needed up at the Slug & Lettuce as the pizza place we last visited in 2021 had gone ( now a cocktail bar ) 😞 nice friendly staff, meal was quite quick and tasty at a reasonable price. Then only a 2 minute walk the Symphony hall. πŸ‘
