I would def not recommend this dentist to anyone if you love your self don’t go. All they do is make your teeth worse then it is and still wouldn’t want to see you. AND STOP DELETING MY REVIEW AND HIDE YOUR ACTUAL TRUTH

Disgusting. Totally unhappy with the amount of on the day cancellation. And when i finally get to see a dentist. Every time its like i never been there before. All they care about is signing papers. And than saying the will call and arrange an appointment to start treatment. Leaving me in more pain. Yet every time is back to square 1. Totally incompetent unprofessional. Avoid.

The worst Dentist, we are a family of 5 my wife has severe mental health. The dentist keeps arranging appointments without my knowledge and then tell us we haven’t turned up to our appointments. Despite me asking them not to pre arrange appointments without my permission they continue do so. We were not even made aware that the dentist had struck us off there list until I called to enquire about my daughters braces. Receptionist was exceptionally rude, there all about money not customer care. Very poor service!!!!

Receptionists are rude, aggressive and unnecessarily confrontational. They lack all manner of people and customer service skills. They are well versed in customers complaining about them and they refuse to provide any way of identifying themselves over the phone. They also provide you false information on their complaints procedure. The dentists themselves are fine but you need a clear out of your receptionist staff or some intensive training. If you don’t mind be spoken to like something on the bottom of your shoe then choose the dentist.

I shouldn’t even be giving this rating a 1 because they deserve a zero. I have had the most horrible experience at this dentist due to the rude receptionists who don’t even answer the phone and constantly send me letters through my post saying I have missed an appointment when I clearly sent a voicemail. As well as this, they constantly ask me to pay in advance when I need a treatment because they are in debt and won’t give me a refund if i am not happy with the treatment. Overall I’m dissatisfied with their service.

On arrival the receptionists seemed pleasant, then that's where it all ends! Through to the dentist who seemed like he'd just left Uni with a degree in arrogance & obnoxiousness (should be a word). I'd told him my issues etc, but he'd already decided what the problem was & the treatment, which funnily enough seemed way more costly to the NHS which the practice can claim back, and also he'd taken a mouth imprint thing so he could order me some dentures which I didn't even need! Clever! So anyway i'd left not best pleased! Unfortunately I was back within 3 days in agony and one side of my mouth about the size of an apple as i'd developed an infection!! That same dentist was off that day so I had the mispleasure of dealing with one of his equally arrogant and unpleasant rude colleagues who seemed more interested in the music on the radio & showing off and impressing his new smartwatch to his female colleague. Anyways after some treatment & prescription for some antibiotics I decided to make a quick exit. It was quite funny as i'd left & shook my head in disbelief as i'd noticed some of the flashy cars in the Carpark and road with private number plates with teeth & dental related references & you think the money some of these guys make/made out of greed, patient mistreatment & neglection?! Since then I've changed my dentist, i've had to pay for 5 tooth caps & saving to pay for implants as well as wearing temporary dentures. So the big question, would I recommend? Definitely Yes, to every Man U & Arsenal fan 😋😉

I visited today after avoiding the dentist for too many years. The team was lovely, and they were so understanding. I was so nervous before the appointment, and I can't believe I'm saying this, but once I sat on the dentist chair after having a chat with the dentist I was actually feeling quite relaxed. I would recommend to anyone.

I have always been an NHS dental patient, partly out of principal, but Just following lockdown, and before I started a new job, I needed emergency dental treatment. My dentist simply couldn't fit me in, with a wait time of around 3 to 4 months.I decided to go private and signed on with Edgbaston dental center, which I have not regretted. The practice sorted out my emergency care very quickly, and Dr Kam Panesar, who is now my regular dentist, dealt with the problem efficiently and without drama. She is professional and very capable, and I implicitly trust her judgment. In the time I have been with Edgbaston Dental she has done better job than other dentists I have seen in Birmingham. I would highly recommend both her and the practice.

I had a dreadful experience as an NHS patient at a practice in Hall Green so decided to come here and be seen privately. I cannot fault the service I have recieved. The dentist I have seen twice has been lovely, very patient and calm and explained everything to me properly. I also had a visit to the hygienist who was also excellent. I am so impressed and would highly recommend this practice. 5 stars!

I am not registered with this practice. My son complained on mild discomfort on a Friday And I noticed he had a Hole in one of his teeth. He was due to go away for a week so I paid this clinic privately to see him on a Saturday simply to tell me if this was some thing that can wait for a week or need urgent attention. Dentist very briefly looked and said it can probably wait . That night he developed pain again and we visited dentist who showed us a abscess on his gum which this doctor neither looked at nor informed me off. Very disappointed With this service and would have given zero stars if I could .

Poor service. Must've tried to call at least 20 times to call in this week to try and join. Left voicemails no answer. Also emailed no response. Once a girl called Katrina or something similar picked up، was helpful but when I phoned back 5 mins later for further clarification no response again. Not sure how they expect to run a business like this.

I tried to phone to get advice just kept gettin a recording, telling me to call during normal hours. According to the search on google the surgery was open, but nobody was answering the phone. Just a waste of time

Dr. Kieran Bhakta and the nurse Halima were so nice and helpful! The receptionists - not so much, unfortunately. I came in and stood right in front of them, but they kept talking to each other and *ignoring* me until I coughed a little to draw their attention.

Very rude receptionist!!!! And i quote “aint got nothing on that day mate” no customer service or whatever! You can tell they are fed up about their jobs!

Somewhat gone down hill in the last year with the change of dentist working here. Last treatment was rushed, confused, didn’t give me the full service paid for, disappointing.

I registered in this center because I had heard good things about it. I am a foreigner and I do not speak English. today I had an appointment to visit me and my ten-year-old daughter, they assured me that they would call an interpreter. at that time the interpreter was not there and the lady at the reception instead of calmly explaining the situation turned to me then to my daughter in a tone that was not very appropriate. I believe I will look for another Center.

I used to go there a lot and never had any issues until recently. Recently i was treated by this new straight from uni dentist. She was super friendly but unfortunately she treated around 3 or 4 teeth for me and I am very unhappy about it and the consequences of the treatment. After a few weeks almost all teeth she did started to hurt. They didnt bother me beforehand, got treated and now they hurt. As a consequence I have been in treatment elsewhere ever since and spent lots of money at another dentist who has been fixing it and still it is not finished. Turns out she may have drilled too deep down in those teeth and affected the nerve in some/or got really close to it and even left some decay in others (as I was told by my other dentist). I am not a dentist but that is surely not good. Ehh :( I'm very upset because I trusted her and that clinic. I had zero issues previously. They should not be letting the inexperienced people treat patients. They can say she has had the education from the university to learn but u also learn through experience and she should have recognised she was perhaps out of her depth and asked another dentist to treat me.

I had an emergency appointment for £30 and I have been seen by DR Kam. she got an X-ray from my tooth and said I need to do root canal treatment on it for £395, I come back home to think about it then I rang the centre again for booking an appointment they said you have to do another consultation which is £69 if you do not want to do consultation we can not go ahead with this treatment. I can not understand why should I pay again for another consultation when she found out the problem at the first visit. It is not making any Sense at all. Very disappointed Not recommend at all be very carful to deal with them.

absolutely terrible, been waiting 4 years for braces and all they have done is pass my referral from dentist to dentist. was told earlier this year that they forgot to send my referral off so i was waiting for no reason. now i’m 18 in 2 months and having to be put on yet another waiting list for yet another dentist. sick of it. literally been waiting on the list since i was 14 and now being nearly 18 i will have to pay for braces which is ridiculous wish i never come here.

The dentist is good (Dr Bupta), but the receptionist has zero people skills. There's absolutely no trace of smile or goodwill when she's talking. And it was a battle trying to get my details right in the system. Please, give the option on the website to book the appointment online. Your receptionist is terrifying! LE: the receptionist significantly improved. And after 2 decays done at Dr Bupta, I can tell he's excellent at his job!

Good dental prevention for the kids ice hygienist and a bit of a wait so may have my crowns done

Just been for my appointment today with the Hygienist Jasdeep Notta. Brilliant service & treatment provided. Genuinely nice person, my teeth look fantastic. Although I've waited ages for this appointment, it was well worth the wait. Also lovely receptionist, very helpful with all my queries.

I visited Edgbaston Dental Centre on a number of occasions as I went for a check up and was in need of a filling. I decided to get myself booked in with a hygienist and also opted to get my teeth whitened. The process from start to end up for me was convenient and trouble free as I was able to get seen in the late evening factoring in my work hours. Numerous reminders about appointments and communication was the best. A massive props to Dr Alisha Ubhoo and dental nurse, Aisha. Thank you once again for making my visits pleasant. See you guys soon!

I been scare of dentist all my childhood even now as a adult, but because of his professionalism Dr Naman Gupta all my worries gone straight away. He done a great job with my teeth and definitely now I am more confident because of his calm, and easy hand that make you do not feel anything. Thank you one more time.

I visited Edgbaston Dental Centre today for an emergency appointment and was really impressed with the practice. The reception staff were friendly and helpful from the first phone call to book in, to welcoming me on arrival. Dr Panesar and her team were friendly, compassionate, and professional; I felt immediately comfortable and Dr Panesar took the time to explain everything about my symptoms and treatment. Sadly I don't live in the area to make this my regular practice but I would highly recommend to anyone who does!

The dentist she always puts too much numbing agent so my mouth is so numb I cannot speak properly sometimes and I keep biting my tongue.

My visit to this dentist was a complete disappointment. Despite their alleged NHS services, they went to great lengths to steer me towards pricey private treatments. They flat-out denied offering the promised NHS services and gave numerous excuses. Not only were their private services overpriced, but I later discovered that another NHS dentist covered the treatment they wanted to charge me £2500 for. Save yourself the hassle and avoid this dentist who can't be trusted.

I recently visited Dr. Gupta for a dental procedure and I have to say that he is absolutely amazing! As someone who is extremely afraid of dentists, I was apprehensive about the appointment, but Dr. Gupta put me at ease right away. He was very patient with me and took the time to explain everything to me in a way that I could understand. One of the things that impressed me the most was how gentle he was during the procedure. I've had some major dental problems in the past and have always experienced pain during treatment, but with Dr. Gupta, I felt absolutely no pain whatsoever! His attention to detail and expertise in his field are truly remarkable. Overall, I highly recommend Dr. Gupta to anyone who needs dental care. He is an outstanding dentist who truly cares about his patients and goes above and beyond to ensure their comfort and well-being. I am generally a nervous person but my dentist (Dr Alisha Ubhoo) makes me feel at ease. She explains all procedure to be undertaken and answers any questions I may have. She also ensures I am happy with the outcomes. She ensures she is happy with the work she has done herself.

Rubbish dental centre. Have no value for other people’s time. I have always waited for 30 mins from my actual appointment time and I always reach 10 mins before my appointment so basically in total I am sitting there 40 mins in the waiting area. They have no respect for people’s time. And the people who are late for their appointment they send them in your time and make you wait. What a rubbish service and if you complain they will tell you “You can leave, if you want”.

I highly recommend Edgbaston Dental Centre. I have been attending for many years and have always had a positive experience, no matter what issues I have presented with. I moved away some years ago, however kept this as my practice due to the care and professionalism I have experienced. I have been treated by different dentists at the practice, all of whom have been professional and knowledgeable. In particular I'd like to thank Dr Kieran Bhakta, for his patience and also his gentle, calm manner. He treated me yesterday as an emergency and ended the pain I had been enduring. As always, Kieran kept me fully informed and made me feel at ease. I am very grateful to consistently be in such safe hands. Thank you!

We’ve used this dentist continually since arriving in Birmingham in 2014. They provide consistent high quality NHS treatment for us. We are very happy with the reception staff who are friendly and helpful. My dentist Denisha and her dental nurse worked seamlessly together this morning to provide me with a new filling despite me being a big baby about having work done. They are a caring practice and I am very happy to have a local dentist that I can walk to as I live in the city centre. (Although public transport is available and parking is too).

Due to a previous bad experience I had, I was extremely nervous to go back to see any dentist. I booked an appointment for my children with Dr Gupta, seeing how nice him and his assistant Maria were, I just decided to take the step and book an appt for myself and I am so glad I did. They are amazing. Dr Gupta explained everything to me, showing me exactly what had to be done (a lot of damage as I was so scared of dentists and did not see any for years) in a professionnal and clear manner. He just made the whole process easy and was so understanding. Maria, your lovely smile is enough to make anyone comfortable, sorry I squeezed your hands so hard last time I saw you!!! I STRONGLY recommend Dr Gupta to anyone and if you are a nervous patient like me, just go for it, you won't regret it :)

My experience at this dentist was a nightmare. Despite advertising NHS services, they aggressively pushed expensive private treatments, refusing to provide the affordable care they promised. They quoted me £2500 for a treatment that another NHS dentist covered. Avoid this deceitful dentist at all costs.

I had an appointment to remove a very tooth and I was so worried about this whole procedure and was anxious about having this done. However, I am pleased to report that Dinesha Hira was excellent and, she put my mind at rest by talking me through the process. To be honest, she was brilliant and because she was so good at her job this procedure was less painful than I had expected it to be.

I had severe dental anxiety, but EDC helped me overcome my fears and get the treatment I needed. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by Harpreet, who welcomed me with a big smile and a sweet comment. She made me feel comfortable and at ease right away. Dr. Naman Gupta is the kindest and most patient dentist I have ever met. He always explains the work ahead of us very thoroughly, and he never forgets how I feel about dental procedures. He works very gently, making sure that I am always comfortable and without pain. The dental nurses are also amazing. They are professional and loving, and they always go the extra mile to make me feel comfortable. I am now at the end of my treatment plan, and I am very happy not just with the results, but also to know that I can count on EDC to take care of my smile's health for years to come. I can’t recommend Dr Gupta enough. Patient care is absolutely top of his agenda, and he’s very able to make you feel at ease. I’d challenge even people who “hate the dentist” to not find his approach reassuring, thorough and patient.

I saw dr. Priya today for a filling, and I must say she made what was supposed to be a difficult and uncomfortable procedure bearable, she's very professional and sort of guided me through the whole process, her and her colleague halima, they both made my dreaded trip to the dentist a nice and easy one. Went here three weeks ago and saw a new dentist as my old one had gone private. I am a very nervous patient and to say she couldn’t have been less sympathetic is an understatement. She basically listed 5 things that were wrong with my teeth from an infection under my root canal, gum disease, cracked teeth amounts other things. She offered to put a crown on the one there and then but as I’m so nervous I couldn’t go through with it. I left feeling very upset and couldn’t believe in 6 months my teeth could change that much. I decided to go to a different dentist the day after and out of the 5 things the dentist at Edgbaston said she only found one. She then referred me to a specialist where another NHS dentist looked at my teeth and a private dentist. They all said the same that there is an infection under my root canal but if the Edgbaston dentist had put that crown on it would not have sorted it and would have got worse. I would not recommend Edgbaston anymore and it’s a shame as I’ve been going there for years and never had any other trouble until I saw the new dentist there!

Very professional meeting with their patients' liaison officer yesterday. The surgery is willing to accommodate our international family and our billing system, so it looks like we found the right place for orthodontics.

Firstly i want to highlight that after constant mess around from my previous dentist. I decided to look for another dental clinic and i found edgebaston dental centre and quite frankly i could not be happier fantastic dental team friendly front of house team and all the dental team we outgoing friendly full of energy and they do a professional job and make you feel at ease durning any procedure highly reccomend fantastic service and place. I had a extraction done recently and it was done professinally showed the class of the dental clinic.

Love the receptionists, Tia and Dr Naman is the best dentist ever. I'm a very nervous patient, especially with needles and I barely feel a thing when I get fillings done. Jas has done an amazing job cleaning my teeth, honestly I couldn't believe it when I saw them in the mirror. 0% filter, 100% jas! One thing I have noticed though is the changing of the disposable gowns? they used to be blue and didnt make much of a noise and now they're this white plastic bag consistency and make a right racket when someone is close by to your ears. It makes a big difference to the neurodivergent. Bring back the blue ones!

You’re lucky your receptionist is nice she’s the only reason you even have these two stars . All these people do is take x rays and then send you home and say they have other patients as well WHEN YOURE IN ALOT OF PAIN ITS RIDICULOUS NEVER have I seen a dentist who leaves you in pain I had to go around to the nhs and beg for an appointment at the dental Hospital and there is a Nurse there who was trying to block my mother off from receiving an appointment ! Imagine ! While shes speaking to the receptionist she intervenes saying no no no . That’s so unprofessional . Leaving my mom in so much pain

Registered and signed up with this new dental centre yesterday. Had my first appointment today, greeted at the front door by a polite young lady. My temperature was checked as I entered the building and hand sanatisers were provided for use. Met my new dentist doctor dinesha hira who was really nice and helpful and also met another young lady who was very helpful aswell. Overall great customer service, polite staff members and a nice friendly dental centre. By far the best dental experience I have ever had.

I have a very good dentist here, Mr Kieran is highly professional, and actually takes the time to advise and really get to know his patients. This is the first time in the UK that I've met a dentist that doesn't; just do his job and leave, but ensures the patient is comfortable and gives a genuine consultation. I really respect this factor in him, as it's really uncommon

I visited Edgbaston Dental Centre for the first time last week, the receptionist was very helpful, and I have to say the service from Dr Nandra and Kirsty was excellent and very thorough. I recommend this practice to all family and friends.

Surely the finest dentist this side of Scotland! A very friendly, yet professional team. I always look forward to my visits. Kam, Nat and Kirsty are fantastic. I wouldn't go anywhere else if you gave me a free lollipop.

Today i visited the Edgbaston Dental Centre and received first class dental treatment. I was seen to on time by Dr Nandra and assistant Kirsty. Excellent customer service was provided throughout and very professional. I would gladly recommend to anyone visiting the Centre in future. 5 stars

A really good practice who put my children at ease when they visited for the first time. The staff were very friendly and reassuring when explaining treatments to the children and allowing the children as much time as they needed to settle their nerves.

AWFUL DENTIST EVER. never pick up phone calls and I don't even know did they refund my deposit or not yet. I'm calling 3 times a day for 2 weeks! Ridiculous. Also, the specialist is so rude.

I was lucky enough to have work experience with these amazing people. From thia I have learnt not only about dentistry as a career but how much doctors care for their patients. On top this, everyone in the practice has treated me kindly and has been extremely helpful in giving me further career advice. I would like to give a special thanks to all the dentists who helped me to learn about different treatments and procedures whilst giving insightful information as to what I need to become a dentist myself. I've been using this place on and off for the last 10 years. Great service, on my last check up I was told to keep doing whatever I was doing as my teeth were in excellent condition & to book for a check up in a year.

I have been a patient at the Edgbaston Dental Centre for about 7 years. I have always found all the members of staff to be helpful, friendly and totally professional. I was treated last week by Dr Nandra, due to a crown I had damaged. The standard of care I received was as usual outstanding.

I've been treated by Dr Nandra & hygienist Jas for many years and they are superb. The whole team are great, very informative, helpful and professional. Highly recommended practice.
