IN CReD IBLe. Wow. I got told to get my membership through a work colleague and boy was I glad I did. A haven for deals and bulk buying on a scale like no other. Macro, move aside! Plenty of parking and fuel prices to kill for, plus food cheap as literal chips (no chips available) but £1.50 for a hot dog and unlimited refill drink? Try tell me that isn’t value for money! Everything you can think of from luxury jewellery to alcoholic beverages and food stuffs, meat and clothing all under one roof at great pricing. Cannot go wrong! If you have the opportunity, get a membership, and get to Costco. Now.

The items are generally good quality but because there are almost never any offers, makes shopping there mostly inneficient. I noticed that latelly the quality of the food went down, expired products shuffled in between good ones, repackaged or repurposed. In the two photos I posted you can clearly see that the bread went off at least a week before, I know that because we went there one week before and blue spots could be seen already. Also, it's not safe to dump bread bags and boxes on the passage way like that. Conclussion: The level of tidiness and expiration checks of the store is low and decreasing for the past few years. Combined with the absence of promotions does not make the store economically viable. The absence of delivey through Deliveroo or Uber eats makes the store inaccessible for anyone without a subscripotion, quarantined or without an easy way to access it.

Costco is a consistently good experience. I've been to several warehouses, and each time I visit, I leave significantly poorer. Buying in bulk means you benefit from the economies of scale, but beware, not all items are cheaper than your average supermarket. Seasonal offers seem to yield the best returns. Easter, Christmas, Halloween, etc. October 2023 update: It's still the best place to go to for tyres, and this Costco now has a fuel station. Prices are typically up to 20p a litre cheaper than elsewhere including supermarkets. There is also a high octane fuel (97 RON) available.

I visited here for the first time on Sunday and it was a very surreal experience - almost like an IKEA. The store is huge and has a good layout but it gets incredibly busy, especially around the holidays. The prices here are hit and miss. Some products are worth more for your money (especially if you buy in bulk) and some are less so and are cheaper in regular supermarkets. The quality of the food items are very high and are all packaged securely. Staff are strict regarding member +1 entry so be aware you’ll need to have a membership card and can only bring one person along with you. Didn't check out the café at the end so can't comment but food was very cheap. Also didn't visit the bathrooms. Pros: - Great range of products, including stuff you don't find in regular stores - Good layout - Helpful and friendly staff - Quick scanning and payment transaction at the end - Cheap café food (which looked very yummy) Cons: - Car park isn't huge and no disabled parking - Queues are long and store is nearly always busy - Prices are hit and miss

Great spot for bulk shopping. Decent prices, loads of products and, the takeaway located just beyond the counters serves decent grub at low prices 😉

I shouldn’t have to have my card scanned in order to go straight to the food court before I go do my shopping. Flashing my card should have been enough. In the US the food court (and the warehouse) isn’t so elusive that it requires your card to be scanned, a quick flash would be sufficient. It’s a pain to go walk through the tills to the food court as there’s no empty one to go straight through and you have to squeeze past everyone. If you really want to police people then say something to those who just stop in the middle of the aisles blocking everything.

Sushi we bought today, didn't taste nice rice was seems watery and taste not fresh at all. Waste of money, not quality food which is not worthy buying. We always go shop with Costco but this one was not what we expected.

We order some prescription sun glasses and asked the person serving will they arrive by a set date latest as we are on holiday tye day after. We were assured and even after we contacted then we were still assured until the penultimate day when we called to say can we collect were we told, that there is a delay sorry! What annoys us is that they could have checked and noticed the issue and either gave us an option to cancel and shop elsewhere or push the order through in time but the lack of care astonished us, just simply yeah sorry! So another 50 mile round trip to get our refund and no prescription sunglasses. Very poor service from Costco in Leeds. Great for food and one offs but won't be using them again for anything specific in the future.

Ordered Deli for my daughter's birthday party. They could not locate the order and none of the dessert items were prepared by the Deli service. Worst experience when you have 20 odd guests and you rely on costco to fulfill the order.

Too many people in store but I guess it is because of the fair prices....Well, it is a place to get your household items in bulk and save some pounds. The way prices are displayed can be deceiving. You’ll see in bold the price of an item and be interested, only for you to later realise that's not the true price. For example an item maybe written in bold to be £60 but when you check carefully, you will discover that the displayed fee is without vat, so underneath it, is where you find the true value written in small font £80 (vat inclusive)... I got to know that businesses come in to buy wholesale and restock for retailers, so the price without vat is for them (as they are not expected to pay tax twice). However, I would recommend displaying the actual price of an item (vat included ) in bold and the one without vat in the smaller font for businesses.

The store seems huge, but in fact it is smaller than outside, a lot of stuff, more canned things that have a longer date. Meat, vegetables are at a very good price, as is water. If you have a large family or you want make a casual party, Costco is the perfect store, unless you don't want to go shopping too often, it's also cool. I thought there would be more to choose but it's not bad.

Usual costco bits and pieces. Set out similar to others we have been to, except less space. Very small aisles, only just enough space for two trolleys. Car park is appalling with lots of small areas. - Christmas week as usual - carnage

A wide selection of foods and goods as you’d expect and the aisles are pretty clean and tidy so you can navigate well. Only gripe is that it’s often VERY busy and the queue for the tills gets backed up very quickly. Haven’t bothered ordering from the takeaway pizza counter as yet as it always looks a bit chaotic.

You need to pick your time to go like all stores, the checkouts are kept open as require due to demand, staff as always are helpful and happy, excellent advice given when you need To know something , really can not complain about anything at this Leeds store, tidy and well stocked aisles and of course the mini warm take a way (or dine in) is tasty and reasonably priced. Just wish the customers would decide what food to order BEFORE they get to the till,to save time and help staff keep it all moving

Busy but to be expected in the holiday season. Long queue I side to pay but it moves quickly. Usual fare of products and some bargains, but you have you look. Parking good, with large spaces so getting in and put handy.

The place has great products at very competitive prices. Their chicken jalfrezi is the best I've had from a large retailer. So much meat and a goodly amount of heat.

Optician dept. Brilliant! - repaired my Wife’s broken specs within 3 days , now like new! Exemplary customer service from Charlotte and her colleagues- Many thanks to you all. The cost? A tenner + vat = 12 quid ! Why would you go anywhere else?

Very busy at this time of year, but checkout flowing with ease. I’m been shopping here for many years with offers available all year round. You have to buy in bulk on most items, but worth it these days. You can take advantage of the cafe on the way out serving hot and cold food at a modest price. The Costco staff are always on hand to serve or any assurance you may require.

If you're a member, you can get top quality goods for decent prices. The stock is a bit variable, and you won't find bargain basement stock here, but what they do sell is consistently good. Oh and you can eat at the food court even if you aren't a member, try the £1.50 hot dog meal

No disabled parking. As a wheelchair user had to negotiate my way by cutting through the car without being hit by customers coming/leaving site. Ground level access, very user friendly warehouse, staff are very polite, friendly & helpful.

Love the Convenience of everything been under one roof. Costs not dissimilar to the high street - sometimes get things at possible wholesale prices - food court at the end is a bonus. - staff always friendly and polite

😠 So I've been here a few times now. Opening times are 12pm - 8pm (today is Tuesday). Just turned up at 7:30pm, with staff still serving customers, but refusing to serve me, telling me that they close at 7pm. Says online that they close at 8pm and also on their front door, that they close at 8pm. Incr...

😠 I've ordered online from here twice and both times spent over £100. Both times there were items missing from my order. The first time they refunded me the money for the missing items after i sent a few emails asking them to do so. The second time there was over £30 worth of stuff missing and some it...
