Took my non-working Gucci watch here for a repair, the watch was serviced repaired and cleaned within a few days! The staff were helpful and courteous and the price was impressive! Cannot fault them on the experience i had! Recommended to everybody looking for a jeweller with integrity!

Friendly, personable staff and fantastic work. I have had jewellery repaired here and often pop in for antique charms. They are a most reliable company and I recommend them above any other jeweller in Cheltenham.

Sent earrings off for rhodium plating to enhance the shine from a recommendation by a staff member. Took two weeks for a quote, I had to continually ring up to check on them. Went to another jeweller because service was so slow but was told plating wouldn't make any difference and they refused to plate. Went ahead with FA and they come back no different. I was told different things by each member of staff. Severe lack of understanding and orders going on in store. Charged almost £50, decided to take them back as there was NO difference, no proof they'd even been touched and was harassed by a staff member who kept saying the same thing over and over - talked at to the extent of just wanting to leave the store. Never ever go here.

First-class service. I've had a long-standing problem with my Tag watch. The heavy metal strap makes it uncomfortable to wear, and so the watch has been gathering dust in a drawer at home for years. I was on the point of selling it, but Tim was able to order a series of leather straps for me to choose from and fit the one I selected. He also replaced the battery and resealed the watch. I am delighted with the result. It looks better than the original, is comfortable and I now wear it all the time. All the members of staff I dealt with were polite and helpful, and I thought the cost was very reasonable. Recommended.

Internal Communication needs attention. Took my watch in to be regulated. Took the opportunity to get batteries put in two old spare watches. Was offered to make the latter ready in 45 minutes. I said I would collect them when the main watch was ready. 10 days later got a phone call that "your watch is ready". Made the journey only to find the call related to the spare watches and the main watch had just gone in a weeks batch to their watchmaker! Wasted journey! Update a week later. Told that the technician would not regulate it without a full service at £85 for a watch that cost £65. I declined and requested it be returned but shipments back and forth take place once a week so I am being made to wait 10 days just get my watch back. It would not be fair if I did not come back here and say that they did take the trouble to deliver my watch back to me as on as it came back from the repairer and saved me another journey.

My wife and I bought our wedding rings and the service was outstanding, the lady was helpful and patient. My ring had to be modified due to the heatwave (swollen finger) but now it fits perfectly and they did it on time. Highly recommended.

Excellent service front of desk ladys so lovely and helpful and just great to talk to, the jeweler lady who sorted my watch straps very lovely and polite couldn't do enough for me . Thank you all that work there. Gary C

What a smashing shop very efficient and welcoming would go back

I went in looking for a new chain for my locket- the customer service here is fantastic- the lady that served me helped me for as long as I needed- we tried on several different chains of different sizes, she suggested different options and gave me advice when I wasn't sure and I left with the most beautiful chain that suited the locket perfectly- I will definitely be visiting again in future!! Thank you for all your help!

What a delightful find - a business that provides a proper service. 3 previous jewellers were unable to help but Frederick Allen Jewellers were excellent, helpful, jolly and the task was no problem. Really bad experience with this business and would encourage to avoid if you expect professionalism and good customer service. They had my pocket watch in to provide some basic information and pricing but hadn't made any movement on this for 2 months. They never called me to advise what was happening so the emphasis was on me to chase up. Spoke to the owner of the business but wasn't bothered about the wait I'd had

Great service. If you want battery in waterproof watch get done here if in Cheltenham h Samuels etc will not garrenty it is sealed. If expensive watch worth it

Brilliant company - served by Lilly who was very proficient in replacing the link on a broken watch strap. Numerous other jewellers and watch repairers had said it wasn't possible.
