My boyfriend went for a job interview there. Unfortunately i think theaters are becoming extinct and will soon be a thing of the past. Just like the drive in theaters we should bring back because of the covid-19. Your separate in your cars with enough distance but yet you get the atmosphere of the theater i miss these. Please bring back the drive in theaters America

My recent visit to this movie theater left me utterly disappointed. Despite our parents having purchased tickets for an R-rated movie, the staff decided to kick us out, completely ruining our planned night out. What's more frustrating is that the people upfront were aware of our movie choice, yet they failed to communicate any issues until we were already seated. The lack of professionalism and customer service exhibited by the theater staff was appalling. Instead of addressing the situation with empathy or providing a solution, we were unceremoniously removed from the theater. This experience not only left a sour taste in our mouths but also made us question the competence and courtesy of the establishment. As patrons who had followed all the necessary procedures by having our parents buy the tickets, we expected a basic level of understanding and cooperation. Unfortunately, this theater failed to meet even those minimal expectations. The communication breakdown between the staff and patrons was inexcusable and significantly marred what should have been an enjoyable evening. In the future, I hope this theater reevaluates its policies and prioritizes effective communication and customer satisfaction. Until then, I cannot recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a pleasant and hassle-free movie-watching experience.

My recent outing to this movie theater was nothing short of a frustrating ordeal. Despite our parents having to purchase tickets for an R-rated movie, the evening took an unexpected turn when we were unceremoniously kicked out by the theater staff, which they also watched us for a good few minutes and then decided to walk up to us and told us to leave. The fact that the staff at the ticket counter were well aware of our movie selection but failed to communicate any issues until we were settled in our seats. The sheer lack of professionalism and customer service demonstrated during this experience is disheartening. Instead of handling the situation with tact and understanding, we were abruptly removed from the theater, leaving us bewildered and disappointed. This incident not only tainted our perception of the theater but also raised serious questions about the competence and courtesy of its staff. As we who had followed the correct procedures by ensuring our parents purchased the tickets, we expected a basic level of cooperation. Unfortunately, this theater fell short of even the most fundamental expectations. The breakdown in communication between the staff . Moving forward, it is my hope that this theater reevaluates its policies and places a higher emphasis on effective communication and customer satisfaction. Until such improvements are made, I cannot recommend this establishment to others.

Sadly my experience here was absolutely terrible. We ordered food ahead of time and it was missing food even after the pick up time. Went to get it fixed and witnessed toxic work environment when this boy was antagonizing this girl for messing the order up and getting in her space. That caused it to take so long and I missed a lot of the movie's beginning because of it. The theater feels old and not in a nostalgic way. The seats are small and literally choked my body with how tall I am. It felt dirty and felt like it hasn't been updated in a long time. And the crowd was awful with loud talking, slurping, ladies taking their sandals off and kicking other seats. The movie itself was good but my time at the theater ruined me truly enjoying it. I think I can safely say I will never be returning to this location.

My brother, friend, and I decided to come watch the new “Smile” movie at this location. I have been coming to this theater for 10+ years and have never felt compelled to write a review because we usually have a good experience. Since Carmike Cinemas was bought out by AMC at this location it has just gone down hill. This theater is being ran by rude high schoolers who accused my friend of not paying for the items he purchased, and harassed him about having a hoodie on in the lobby. My friend paid 30+ dollars for his ticket, small bag of popcorn, and drink and was waiting for his popcorn to be prepared. We waited 10+ minutes for it so he kindly asked if he could get his popcorn and what seemed to be the shift lead for the night was skeptical to give it to him because she thought he didn’t pay for it, he clearly had the receipt and she heard him order it. Not okay. Then another employee came up to him and asked him to remove his sweatshirt hoodie from his head because it was a “safety hazard”. They just made us feel like criminals…recommend you drive an extra 15 minutes to NCG in Acworth.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of visiting AMC Cartersville 12, and it was nothing short of a cinematic catastrophe. From the moment I stepped in, I knew I was in for a dreadful time. Firstly, the staff seemed more interested in chatting amongst themselves than assisting customers. It took an eternity to purchase tickets, and when I finally got to the counter, the employee appeared disinterested and barely acknowledged my presence. Once inside the theater, I realized the nightmare was just beginning. The seats were so uncomfortable that I felt like I was sitting on rocks. It's 2023, and I can't believe this place hasn't upgraded to more ergonomic seating. The lack of cleanliness was also appalling—sticky floors and popcorn scattered everywhere. It was like stepping into a time warp back to the hygiene standards of the '90s. The sound quality was abysmal. I could barely make out the dialogue over the constant buzzing and crackling. It's as if they salvaged their audio equipment from a garage sale. I attempted to bring the issue to the attention of the staff, but they seemed indifferent to my concerns. And let's not even talk about the concession stand. The prices were exorbitant, and the quality matched. The popcorn was stale, the soda was flat, and the candy was clearly past its expiration date. It's as if they're trying to make up for their lackluster theater experience by gouging customers on overpriced snacks. To top it off, the restroom facilities were a horror show. Filthy, unstocked, and reminiscent of a horror movie set. It's baffling how a supposedly established movie theater can neglect such basic amenities. In conclusion, save yourself the agony and avoid the amc in Cartersville at all costs. It's a cinematic nightmare that I wouldn't wish upon my worst enemy. I'd give it zero stars if I could.

Easy to purchase tickets at popcorn stands. Varied menu items. Clean kitchen, bathroom and auditorium. Polite, courteous employees.

Unfortunately, I’m a little disappointed in this movie theater. How do you shut down food ordering for the late movies that are showing. They only want to serve you cold popcorn. Most people work and are not able to catch early or evening movies. If you have a movie showing at 10pm, we should be allowed to order what’s on the menu. Why sell tickets that late if people can’t get the full experience of ordering what’s on the menu.

Went to see After Death, it was a pretty good movie/documentary. Once we got to actually watch it. As s as movie previews started about 10 teens sneaked in and decided to party up in the back of the theater behind us. There was only my aunt and myself and another man and woman in there to watch the movie which was really nice until the teens came in. They were running and jumping down the isles, jumping over the rails continuously. Finally had enough and my aunt went to get a manager. As soon as she walked out the door, the teens started running out. A good bit lighter. My aunt returned with the manager, and the kids were gone of course. She said that they did not have tickets that only the four was sold to us. She said that she would watch for them. A few minutes lighter one teen male came back in and was just walking around behind us. Maybe he forgot some thing. The manager did tell us after the movie to come see her and she would give us free tickets for another movie. When the movie was over we did so and she gave us the free tickets and said she had to call the police on them. They were all head in the restroom and they all went outside and appeared to be fighting but the manager said they told her they were just playing. But she had to call the police to get them to leave. Manager was very friendly and we really appreciate the replacement tickets. Theater was great, clean, great popcorn is always lol. But the experience was a little scary AMC theaters and Cartersville definitely needs security if 10 teenagers can slip in what else could happen. This post is not putting down the theater by no means. No one’s fault there other than there needs to be security.

My recent visit to AMC Cartersville left me utterly disappointed, and I regret spending a single dime on this supposed entertainment venue. From the beginning, it was clear that this theater is a far cry from the quality one would expect from a chain like AMC. To start, the ticket prices were exorbitant, making me question whether I accidentally stumbled into a luxury theater. Unfortunately, the amenities didn't match the price tag. The seats were worn out and uncomfortable, making the entire viewing experience more of a physical trial than an enjoyable escape into cinema. The staff seemed to be operating on autopilot, lacking any semblance of customer service. Attempts to ask questions or seek assistance were met with blank stares or dismissive responses. It's disheartening to witness such a lack of enthusiasm from the people who should be facilitating a pleasant movie-going experience. Once the movie began, it was evident that the audio-visual quality was subpar. The sound was muffled, and the picture quality left much to be desired. It's astonishing that a theater under the AMC brand would allow such technical deficiencies, especially considering the ticket prices. The concession stand at AMC Cartersville was another letdown. The prices were inflated, and the food quality was abysmal. The popcorn tasted stale, the soda was watered down, and the overall selection lacked variety. It's disheartening to see a lack of effort in maintaining a decent menu for patrons. Lastly, the cleanliness of the theater was substandard. From sticky floors to uncleaned restrooms, it was apparent that hygiene is not a priority for AMC Cartersville. The overall atmosphere was more akin to a neglected movie house from a bygone era rather than a modern AMC establishment. In conclusion, my experience at AMC Cartersville was nothing short of a cinematic disaster. For the prices charged, one would expect a much higher standard of quality and service. Save your money and choose a theater that values its patrons and maintains basic standards of comfort and cleanliness. AMC Cartersville falls short on every front.

Nice, well kept old Carmike theater that's called an "AMC classic" now. We enjoy the "Stubs Membership" rewards, especially the five dollar ticket Tuesdays, and free popcorn refills. I enjoyed the Carmike prices better though, but if I could change one thing besides the pricing, it would be the congestion of the drink area. They do however offer a monthly membership discount program.

The matinee price is reasonable but 30+ minutes of Coming Attractions at high decibel levels was too long & excruciatingly painful! I had to wad up napkins to stick in my ears! And it was very, very cold in the theatre! I brought a heavy sweatshirt but I should have brought my sleeping bag rated to -20°! The seats were comfortable, all seats have a good view & the popcorn was good. Bathrooms, theatre & lobby nice & clean. Ample parking.

we go here all the time and usually our experience is great. Last time we went thought the lid kept coming off the drink. They need new cups and or lids. we took it with us and it spilled all in my car and it was a large so was such a mess. Mcdonalds has good cups and i only pay 1.59 for a large. I pay way more than that at the AMC for a large so I should get a good cup that the lid stays on. It is a little pricey too but my kids love it so i try to take them often.Other than the lid constantly popping off the cup, it was a great experience. we seen the movie his only son which i highly recommend.

Great staff, my only complaint is the nachos. A few months ago they were my favorite snack. Then the cheese changed, then the chips changed. Just too salty and processed

Tonight while trying to watch a movie with my daughter and (73) mother we had a few teenagers causing trouble flashing their phones. We asked them to stop. One young man decided to call his aunt. She reported us to the staff. They came and asked us (the adults) to not go back and forth and the kids. We made it clear then that the kids were using their phones. They staff member asked US again to stop. We demanded our money back. As we left the theater the kid, who caused the trouble, aunt was waiting proceeding to yell and threaten us, specially threaten my Mother, who walks with a cane. At no time did the staff do or say anything. The whole time that kid stayed on his phone. It was bright and disrutpive. The kids caused the trouble, phones out during the film and yet the AMC staff treated us as the wrong doers. Why too was a non paying adult allowed in to the theater to then proceed to threaten and harass 2 adults and a teenager girl? Pathetic and sickening. Wonder why kids act the way they do, tonight was a prime example.

Haven't been to the movies in a while, but the experience was great! The theater looked a little weathered from the outside but clean and inviting once you get inside. The staff was friendly and .courteous. Next good movie we will return.

Came on celebration $3 day. It was nice to get out to a movie again. Seats were comfortable, place was clean and the wait was not long at all.

Pretty typical theater. They keep it clean and the staff are friendly. I went on a fairly slow night so no idea how the experience is when the theater is packed/busy. No issues with the movie screening. We didn't get popcorn or drinks so I can't comment on the quality of those items either.

Unfortunately my family's first movie experience here wasn't a good one. We came in for the last showing of Paws of Fury (super cute movie by the way). The only thing they had was popcorn and candy. They had sodas available (no icees), but everyone was dumping them out because they didn't taste right. We ended up just going with them just to have a drink. The employee who rang us up was very nice and apologized that they were already shut down. There was a line of people that were also waiting, so it was a little disappointing on the decision to close the food, but maybe there's a time they shut it down. It just was surprising as our movie wasn't the last (kids movie). The theatre temperature was fine and we did enjoy the movie, just wasn't the best experience for our son's first movie.

Nice clean facility, and we were able to pick up a little EV charge there with sponsored chargers in the parking lot.
