That store is a hot mess and disgusting to shop through. They have carts filled with inventory and the shelves are pretty empty. Don’t waste your time going in there because you will be there for 30 minutes trying to look for items. The prices is not worth it to go through that mess. Just go to Walmart or Publix. There is No employees to help you out. Only one being a cashier and they also have no manners. That store is not welcoming at all. They need new management and employees. They need to get it together.

Came to the HWY 27 location and they were only doing cash transactions which was told verbally and there were no signs anywhere. Then my Life Partner and I came up to the register where we waited more than 10 minutes for an associate. We called out verbally for assistance and no one showed. Then when an associate came back they barely knew English and seemed very out of it. We were trying to exchange a bluetooth speaker that we bought at the other Clermont location and had a recipt and the associate tried to tell us without looking at the recipt or anything that we couldn't return it at that location and told us to go elsewhere. The speaker was on the shelf and she didn't even try. She seemed to not care at all. I had to warn more than 4 customers that they were only doing cash because an associate could not be found. This location is VERY bad for business...

They refuse to open at 8 o’clock in the morning. I have been sitting in my car for almost 30 minutes and at least 20 cars left. This is how you a Dollar General’s is run if you got a new time if you got a new time tell people that don’t have people sitting outside for 30 minutes because you refuse to open exactly at eight in the morning. They refuse to open exactly at eight so they take the phone off the hook. so that way nobody can call them. Wow what kind of store are you guys running?

Showed up to the store and no one was there. Tried calling no one answered, there were multiple customers waiting for the store to open. Bad for business.

This store is a hot mess. Literally. Boxes everywhere you can't get down the aisles. Yet the shelves are barren. Half the time you are unable to use a card at register, because the machine won't accept it, yet again. It's frustrating just to walk in there, and see how dirty it is. Bring cash, because chances are they can't accept cards the day you visit.

Horrible. Dirty, freezers out and no ink in register tape so your receipt is illegible. Can't even check to see what was rung up. Cashier just shrugged her shoulders. Won't be back.

AVOID! Absolute trash store. Should be closed down. Bare shelves and numerous aisles blocked and unshoppable with merchandise carts. (Fire Safety?) Trashy with no upkeep. Cashier sounded pleasant. Looks like a hurricane hit it inside. Wow

TRASH NIGHT CREW without a manager on duty... 0 COMMUNICATION SKILLS. Good luck hiring more people. No one is going to want to work in this dump in the evening. I ran in to grab some cat food, just so happened to find a few extra things I needed last minute [Already should've known better from there]. First of all, the line was insane. Only two associates and one had to babysit the locked door which left only 1 self checkout (that was being hogged by a lady) and 1 regular checkout station. The lady working the register and having to bounce back and forth between the lady and front register [while the guy just stood there and watched] then got upset when I finally made it to the register and typed in my phone number and threw her hands up say, "You froze the computer! Don't punch in your number." Repeated it over and over INSTEAD OF COMMUNICATING THAT TO BEGIN WITH. Then, after another 15 minutes of waiting and trying to use my gift card [which I checked while waiting in line. YES, there was money on it] she says the internet is down. Walks back and forth. "The internet is down you'll have to use cash." IF YOU WERE HAVING ISSUES TO BEGIN WITH 4 CUSTOMERS DEEP WITH A WAIT. COMMUNICATE THAT TO THE PEOPLE WASTING THEIR TIME WITH YOU. DO NOT. Visit this location at night unless you have cash and a 1 item limit. Because that's all two people on staff can handle. It's already bad enough that there are U-boats and junk laying around all the isles, taking up space and causing walking hazards in all of the clutter. This is a great store. I just started utilizing the past couple of months as money's been tight. But only between the hours of 1pm to 5pm NO LATER and ONLY on the weekdays. Maybe first thing in the morning for the early birds out there. But avoid at any other time, then I just recommended... had to go next door to CVS and pay DOUBLE, unfortunately.
