Delicious food and great service. Difficult to eat outside because of the flies, but we were offered an indoor seat. A nice fan might alleviate fly that problem. The pork schnitzel as delicious, better than the veal, but if you like extra thin, he veal is for you. The pork knuckle was cooked to perfection with tender fall apart delicious meat. The skin was crispy thin and shatteringly good pork skin. The goat cheese salad was also very nice and quite large. Definitely returning.

Everything about Siegfried’s was just amazing. The food, the service, the music and the vibe. My husband and I are both Germans living in the US. Siegfried’s Schnitzel was the most delicious I’ve ever had - so thin and crispy. My husband loved the Leberkäs and Apfelstrudel. We came back the next day for a Bratwurst and a very authentic Brotzeit platter (best German bread you can find in the US!). We cannot recommend this restaurant enough - you really can see that the owners had put their heart and soul into everything. I forgot a personal item on the table and Kim immediately contacted us which I really appreciate. Danke & bis bald!!

What an amazing restaurant. My wife’s schnitzel was so crunchy outside and moist inside and was done to perfection. The gravy is a must imo. The Leberkäse was quite decent. Beer was top notch even though I am not too much of a beer person. Rodrigo our server gave us exceptional recommendation. Will try to come back for their hock.

Excellent Wiener Schnitzel with warm German potato salad, that followed a giant pretzel. Washed down with German beer of course. It turns out that most people make a reservation since it's in what was once a small house. We got there just after they opened at 4:00 and despite not having a reservation were seated at a table with a later reservation time. I'm glad we were able to enjoy this fine meal and hope to go back next time we're in town.

The BEST German food I’ve ever had. I decided to check this place out given the reviews and my wife and I weren’t disappointed. Having been to Germany, we had high expectations but this place proved amazing. We had the giant pretzel with sweet mustard sauce. So good! We both had the Wiener Schnitzel. It was perfectly cooked and tender. It wasn’t greasy as some schnitzels can be. I had the mashed potatoes and they were great. My wife had Oma’s warm potato salad and like it. She also LOVED the Jaeger sauce! The servers went above and beyond. Highly recommend this place if you’re in Sarasota!

Outstanding authentic German food. Everyone went above and beyond to make our meal extraordinary. It was so delicious, went 2 nights in a row! Go on Friday and have the haxe! The steak was awesome. We had a lovely experience here. My German boyfriend and I came all the way from Miami in hopes to have authentic German dishes, and we weren’t not disappointed. He loved the food :) My sister and brother-in-law were delighted with everything as well. I’m a pescatarian so I was happy to find some options for me. We will definitely be back.

This place is absolutely awesome!! We showed up right as they opened. The bread they served to start was unbelievably fresh and tasty. The pretzel as an appetizer was huge and wonderful. And I had the cordon Bleu schnitzel special and it was out of this world. Wife had the steak and absolutely raved about it. We WILL be back!!

This is the best German restaurant I have eaten at in ages. The Wiener schnitzel special was very tasty and the brats with sauerkraut were delicious. The place is in an old house so it has a very cozy feel to it. The portions are huge and so delicious. Our server Ori was very nice. We highly recommend this restaurant and intend to try the Biergarten in the back the next time.

Went here on a date night with my husband and we absolutely loved it! We’ve been a few times and have always had a great experience. From the food to the beer to the people, it’s an all around great spot that is super authentic and homey. Perfect spot to hang with friends and family outside in their biergarten too! Make sure to make a reservation for dinner in advance since it is a popular spot!

We are from Tampa and were in Myakka for our anniversary. The weather was cool and overcast. We were seeking comfort food so our friends recommended Siegfried's. Although Friday's are busiest, we were able to make a same day reservation. We sat outside. Rodrigo was polite, knowledgeable, professional, and eager to please. Alex, the bus boy, also checked on us to ensure our service was fluid. The owners Rene and Kim even stopped by our table to greet us. The customer, and food service was excellent. Entrees were well portioned, and could be shared. Dinner was made fresh to order, absolutely delicious, and paired well with the red blend wine! We will be back!!!

Wowww. Not only is the backyard beer garden setting unreal. But the FOOD! Everything we had was incredible. We ordered the special, which was a pork dish (forgot the name), their big salad w goat cheese and figs (which was amazing) and a side of potato dumplings and red cabbage. First time in Sarasota and first time having German food. It was so delish! I had pork schnitzel with potatoes and cucumber salad. He had the goulash with cabbage. Both dishes were amazing and the staff was very friendly. Friendly staff.. friendly environment.. awesome food.. Happy customers. 🥰

Having called Germany home for over 20 years, I was genuinely impressed with the authenticity of the cuisine here. The flavors transported me right back to Germany! Reservations might be a good idea, given its popularity. The dishes arrived in a timely manner, though there was a bit of a wait for the bill. It did remind me of the more relaxed pace of dining in Germany, especially when it comes to settling up. Highly recommend for a genuine taste of Germany.

My friend in Germany told me about siegfrieds because he has seen it on German TV(goodbye Deutschland)so we drove to Sarasota for dinner on thursday and they did not disappoint Everyone was so friendly.service was perfect and the owners so well grounded,friendly and grateful that we came all the way from Cape Coral. The food was amazing!very reasonable prices.Seriously I never had such authentic German food in the US and we tried all places in Cape Coral/Fort Myers. We tried almost everything from the menu.Sauerbraten,Reibekuchen,Schnitzel,Rheinischer appetizer platter!huge portions So good. Location is authentic,cute and charming.we enjoyed the beergarden for dessert and a beer after dinner as well. Thank you for making me feel at home!!! Highly recommend Danke!!!!

Authentic German food with the cook and owners regularly coming out to check on you. They currently have an Oktoberfest beir on draft that goes great with food or just sipped on the patio. My favorite meal is the Cordon Bleu with "Oma's Potato salad" and of course the delightfully fresh tasting "Cucumber Salad". With the great dinner you must have "Great dessert" and Siegfried's does not disappoint here! Feeling "crazy" we ordered both the Apple Strudel and the Black Forest Cake. They were beautiful in appearance, but more importantly beautiful in taste! We will go back to be able to try other items on the menu and see what seasonal delights they add. You don't have to be a fan of "German food", just a fan of great tasting food.

From the starter to the main course to the dessert, we tried all of them and everything tasted authentic and very good. As being German myself I am very picky about eating German food in a restaurant and Siegfried’s Restaurant has nailed it every time I have been there. Their food is fresh, everything made from scratch and so delicious. The also offer a great variety of authentic German drinks. The owners Kim and Rene are very friendly, well experienced in the gastronomy business and extremely oriented towards customer satisfaction. You can literally feel their passion and love while enjoying your visit and the yummy food with the traditional German beverages. I have been there several times and highly recommend Siegfried‘s!!!!!!

We love Siegfrieds Prices are reasonable and they have a fresh menu with great specials everyday and super friendly service.you feel so welcome when you come in. This place is just perfect. Great German food, really great beers & wine and the staff is seriously amazing! Outside seating is about 6 tables, very far apart. All staff wear masks and gloves. And I will note that my partner & I have barely been anywhere in months but SO glad we happened upon this place!

I cannot give this restaurant enough praise! The food is not just the best German food I have ever had but you can tell how well thought out each plate is. The beer prices are amazing for the size and so many German import choices. The owners moved here recently from Germany I heard and they are just the most thoughtful, truly genuine people. Don’t bother making reservations they don’t honor them. The employee on the phone said reservations would be moved from outside into inside if it rains. Yet when I arrived they said the person who answered the phone did not have authority to do this. Instead of fixing the situation or rescheduling me a time, they started to bash and yell at the employee who answered the phone in front of me and said I was out of luck for the reservation. This unprofessionalism and immaturity should not exist in today’s society. I would avoid this place for better restaurants.

What a Gem!! I was always spoiled with German food by my German grandma! We heard so many good things about Siegfried’s and of course we had to try it! The Sauerbraten was just like home! The beer was on their proper glasses and they treated us so well. We will be back again! I highly recommend this place!

Updating my review to 4 stars since the owner reached out to me about my previous review. I thought it was very professional for them to reach out to see what they could do next time to make my experience better. While my taste for the food can't be changed, I'm impressed with the ownership here. Class act. I was a little disappointed in the food, to be honest. I don't think it was anything special, and the prices aren't necessarily cheap. I do give them credit for giving a discount for takeout, though. Maybe the experience just isn't the same unless you dine in. Overall, I would try it again, but I didn't eat anything that stood out for me.

This was by far one of the best meals we have ever had. We thought we would never have another wiener schnitzel as delicious as we did in Germany but place topped it. My gf got the roast beef with cheese onions and potatoes and it was amazing. Even the beer was extremely good. Highly recommended!

Wow! Had dinner here with close friends who have travelled extensively in Europe as well as lived in Germany. They said Siegfried's served the most authentic food they've ever tasted in America and it rivaled German restaurants! We each had a different selection and I couldn't pick a favorite because they were all delicious! I had the special for the night but I can't remember what it was and I ate most of it before I thought to take a photo.
