Update 11/2022: the price for food has increased by $3 per plate.. what cost $12, now cost $15 and the size of the plate hasn't increased at all. This cafe sits in an industrial area accessible to the street. Limited parking ..so have to find parking where you can. The food was good..i ordered legume, but I noticed no plantains were added. I didn't get any meat but got a lot of bones..which took most of the space in the plate. Disappointing in this because I drove far to get to this place. The girl at the counter was really nice and it was super easy to order over the phone. It looks family owned because people were just hanging around. So I give this place 3 stars.

Griot plate wasn’t fresh and the pikils had a sour smell as if it was spoiled. I eat this all the time at Andreas and it’s always fresh and delicious. I tried this place bc it was closer to my house and im very disappointed. Looks are deceiving…

First time trying Jeans's and they did not disappoint. Food was fresh and flavorful, easily the best Hatian food around.

The food was basic and tasted nasty 🤢. A small plate for $15. Big plate $18. It’s a waste of money for nasty unhealthy fried food. Overpriced. I could have got some healthy food for cheaper. I wont be returning again. I can cook better tasting haitian food. I regret spending the money. I had to throw the food away.

Authentic Haitian food prepared by owners, Jean and Nancy. We had the goat and fried turkey with white rice, red beans and rice, and plantains. All yummy. Very friendly and eager to make your visit enjoyable. Felt like we were in their home having a meal with family.

We ordered our food in advance like we always do, and after our order was taken we called 20 minutes later since we were halfway there and the woman told us they ran out of fish???? If we had arrived and there was no fish it would've been our gas and money wasted! Everyone says the food is good and I can't agree or disagree since I won't be ordering here again.

Food here is always delicious. We all know Haitian food takes time to prepare so I like that I can call ahead so my order is ready upon arrival. I'd have to say that this is the best Caribbean food in town.

Food good. Customer service is horrible. Very rude people. Will straight up lie to you and say they're closed when they are clearly open. Don't say please or thank you. If you can ignore the horrendous service, then you will be delighted because the food is actually good

Great food. I ordered over the phone when I got there ! They had orders in the window and told me they were out of Oxtail. How do you run out of their top selling item at 3pm in the afternoon. Not Good.

First time trying. Oxtail played was on point!!! Fast and friendly. Can't wait to try something new. Was looking forward to the Lam;í but they said they no longer carried it. It's hard to find good conch outside of the Caribbean.

Very good food. Always try local it usually pays off and this place proves it. The best fried Plantains I have ever had. I also had the chicken and it was good.

I was very disappointed 😔 it's not the first time I've been there I ordered the $15 griot plate and no rice and like 6 pieces of fried bananas then charged $6 for a small thing of rice that tasted horrible they used to be on point I don't 🤷‍♀️ know what happened! I don't know if I'd be back sorry 😔

Absolutely disgusting. How could you sell chicken with a disgusting smell to it, that is clearly spoiled. You are a disgusting establishment because I know the chef smelled that chicken before she cooked it or they had it out. I don’t know. Very foul people. I paid $36 for two plates of this bull crap and me and my children couldn’t even really eat it. This is why I only mess with Chef Creole some of you Haitians are nasty people. I had the bag tied which is why I couldn’t smell it until I got back home to Lakeland. It’s like do you not care about repeat business nasty disgusting people
