My daughter died and she loved Goodwill. We gave many of her items to the organization including a jewelry box that was mistakenly donated. We left it Saturday evening and my other daughter went back to try to retrieve it on Sunday morning. She could see it as it had not yet been dissemenated throughout the store. The manager, Wayne, told her that he would not give it to her, he would have to file a report and get permission and would call her later that day. We are still waiting for Wayne's phone call. I called the corporate office to speak to "Drew" the person responsible for public relations... the person who answered the phone was very sympathetic, but you probably guessed it...no call back from Drew either. My daughter didn't have any really valuable items but her little treasures were important to us. The only thing that I have to say to Goodwill is "Bye, Felicia" - thanks for putting the perfect cap on what was a terrible journey. Please do not support this awful organization.. UPDATE- We finally heard back from Drew- 2 weeks later. Of course, it was too late by then- everything was gone throughout the Goodwill system. Here's the interesting part (to me). He told me that he never heard my phone message but he got my phone number from somewhere. What kind of PR person doesn't respond for 2 weeks?

Love this goodwill but truly disappointed in the staff and management. I’m a frequent thrift shopper. I’ve been coming to this good will for months and have noticed the same gentlemen there daily all day who we have notice have extremely high end goods or just really nice items for very low prices. After being there for 2+ hours today we heard and seen staff specifically looking and bringing out items for this gentlemen to resell. We overheard the manager and a few other employees tell him they had certain items in the back for him. He had tvs, he had a go pro, over 6 ps4 AND ps5 games in his cart, a brand new gaming chair. It is very disheartening that this is supposed to be a thrift store and typically lower income families come to find good used items. The fact that they let this happen is wrong. Every time items instantly come out to the floor they allow this gentlemen to look through the items first and take what he wants. It does not give people the fair opportunity to give people a chance to look or even purchase decent items. The way they run this store is so sad. Anything OF VALUE, regardless of what it is he will take. It is beyond messed up and wrong that even the managers allow this to happen.

For a secondhand thrift store the prices are pretty much retail. Considering everything is donated I think it’s ridiculous. If I wanted to pay new prices, I would go to a store to buy the item brand new. On top of that anytime you ask any of the workers for help with anything they seem like it’s such a big problem for them to do their job. I asked one person in the store to help me find the price for the shirt I was trying to purchase, and then was redirected to a different associate who then told me I needed to go to the front to ask. Once I got to the front, I was told that any associate could’ve helped me get a price on the shirt. Once I finally got a price for the shirt, I was told $10. Now, if it was a really nice blouse, I could understand $10. But the fact of the matter is it was a Walmart shirt that could be bought for $5.00 to 8 at the most.I personally would recommend you to just go purchase stuff retail since they are trying to sell it for retail anyway.

This store has become very overpriced. Prices for landfill-quality garments are probably higher than you will pay for new items that are on clearance at Kohl's or Walmart. Ridiculous really. I'm basing my review on two recent trips to this location. Also, after reading about Goodwill's practices I will no longer be buying from or donating to Goodwill. If I had wanted to buy something, the long line of people waiting to check out and only two cashiers would have deterred me.

This is an awesome Goodwill location! Tons of stuff and cheap prices. Signs said masks were required to enter, but only about half of customers were wearing them. They have fitting rooms available and honestly the merchandise looked pretty nice and the prices were good. I was looking for 2 specific items and found both fairly easily. I'll definitely be back!

Good place to shop, BUT Examine Every item Carefully! Managment doesnt care if they sell you something stained, torn, messed up!! I would normally give this good will 5 stars, however for the 2nd time they refused to lower their price on a blatantly stained article of clothing. Knowing that all sales are final That is very Poor leadership especially when the tie is marked for $13 or shirt is $26 and stained/torn. The point is NOT that they had a tie with a stain on it, or messed up item, it was when the employee working in the area offered to find out if they could lower the price, and was told "No" by his manager. He was very apologetic. I Don't blame the employee, but the mentality and poor leadership should understand that they are selling 2nd hand items. The crappy part is Someone Else is going to buy that tie and miss the stain until they get home or even put it on to wear it and now you have a dissatisfied customer. The price of their items are usually far greater than what you would find at a normal thrift store, however they do have very high quality items, and this is why I go there regularly.

Drove up to drop off 8 bags of clothes around 9 in the morning but they refused drop off because the store didn’t officially open until 10. They would prefer the clothes be thrown away instead of accepting them early or allowing the bags to be left beside the drop off/donation door. No good deed goes unpunished I guess.

I was visiting relatives in Tampa, and decided to visit Goodwill Wesley Chapel. I really liked the large size of the store and the merchandise they sold; from clothing, to books, to housewares, to the different items in the "MORE STORE", which is a separate large room inside the Goodwill store itself, in the back where other furnishings, yard items, etc...are sold. It's definitely worth the visit, and I will be stopping by the GWC store on my next trip to Tampa!! Thanks.for the experience GWC💯🤗

Prices are definitely high for a thrift store and everything thrown around and messy isn’t a place you wanna shop. You can barely find anything on clearance that was a red tag at 50% off that week and even if you found something it was mainly something junky and still overpriced. Not worth it.

The amount of money I have spent at this store is unbelievable for the type of treatment I just received by the managers.. I was in a few months back and purchased some items but one $5 item did not go home with me. I live about 35 minutes away from the store and so it wasn’t worth it to go back soon after and the receipt was not with me either (I appreciate so much that the goodwill employs special needs store clerks - but sometimes this presents a unique challenge like when items do not get placed in the bag, or Receipt isn’t given to customer) ..I can assure you that this was part of the issue that day. I figured the management would make things right at the next future visit and be understanding. Boy was I wrong. Both managers at the store could not care less and gave me a hard time because I didn’t call the store soon after the incident had taken place. I ask you, what good would that do me if I call - would you then send me my $5 since I live far or would you remember me the next time I was in the store? What sour attitudes for these women who work in retail. If you dislike your job so bad (and it shows) then you should find a new one. Supposedly goodwill treats its employees with a good quality work environment, and honestly I just don’t get the witchy attitude. Life’s too short for that. It would have made a great impact on this longtime customer if you had taken my word and just given me $5 off my $50 purchase. What a joke.

Nice place to find donated things..some prices are good buys some are overly priced for donations. These are donated items that are really marked up just like in the store. I came here to find discounted or cheaper or good buys. If I wanted to pay retail I won’t go here. They have one good asset there- a helpful and cheery person named Adam- he assist and makes the place a better shopping place to go to. Only a few selected people who you can count with decent personality that works there. Managers may have to learn from Adam with how to deal with people.

This is not a cheap thrift store. Look at what I found today. Really, Goodwill? Will not return.

Always a large selection of everything. I always find nice polos for work. Tons of electronics. The weekends are always very busy. Recommend to go during the week if you can. Usually clean and organized. You never know what you might find here.

Used goodwill kid’s t-shirt $4.99. New kid’s t-shirt at Ross $4.99 or $3.99. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ And don’t let me start about what a disorganized mess the whole store is. Why should I look at every single item, one by one to find my size???? It’s very convenient for the employees but i certainly won’t do that.

Most unorganized goodwill I have been in. They need some good help there. Clothes are just being shoved back on the rack, I watched the employee take clothes from dressing room and put on wrong size rack!!! Just shove them anywhere.

I absolutely love shopping here! The manager Ashley is freaking great she did a price check for me on an item I truly loved and was able to give me a very fair price on the item! She is a Rockstar in my eyes! Go Goodwill!

A lot of clothes at this store. Huge selection of paperback books for a few dollars. The store is very large and the workers are helpful. Bikes outside to look at. Hey, its Goodwill!

Very large store than other Goodwill stores I have ever seen. Many items can be found easily. Unfortunately, there was a long wait in line I gave up several things and left. I didn't have time for a wait period.

Bought a lot of items just before Halloween.Thought I had a pretty ok deal on a pair of sandals. They had no tag but in checkout a supervisor said they looked new but she could give them to me for just less than 2.00 so I bought them & wore them to my daughter's Halloween party. I didn't think about it but I noticed a few people there looking at my feet now I know why. I got home & took them off the black color must have been marker or paint and they turned my feet black 😭

It's a big clean store, they have a special color sticker everyday that's half off. Most of there employees are very nice and helpful, I have noticed there prices are going up and can be a little much, but I think it's because of the popularity it's generating. It's something that I Love to do on Sundays.

Great store, clean, pretty well organized, and set up. The housewares area - the 3 aisles could stand to be a food wider for easier passing.

If you use a cashapp or google pay do not go here they will refuse your payment, and embarrass you! Went to pay for my purchase using Google pay ( as i always do) and the transaction wouldn't go through. The cashier looked at my phone and saw that i had a cashapp card, I Was told that they no longer accept payments if you are using a cashapp debit card. (But I was using google pay) So i changed the card to my debit card (I always use my Google pay )and they still refused to take my payment, The supervisor on duty told me to go to a ATM? If I had my physical cards i would of just used them! I've shopped here plenty of times using the same exact form of payment and never had an issue. The whole experience was embarrassing, Totally unethical. I will never shop here again.
