The place was lovely..it was an amazing experience to us as the stay was very relaxing until we check out on the day we left I. e.yesterday.So at the reception we reach at 10.15 we handed over the keys and then waiting for the check in the room by the staff and get our deposit of 150 euros back.We were with other families too all in their separate bungalows. As the other families came after us.They said we check all the other families together.Till then it was all ok..it was 11pm by then. Then at 11.10 they said the sofa was dirty and they are going to deduct 30 euros. They did that too..When I get to know this I was sure there was nothing on the sofa.We reach to the bungalow again there we find the owner who comes to re-check the whole thing. She said it was the staff who informed wrong at the reception. She was really sorry for the inconvenience and they returned our 30 euros.Apology for posting long.👆only reason I am giving 4 stars.

Good: The location is stunning. Right on the lake. With access to the beach. The rented units (we stayed in a superior cottage) are well equipped and have enough room for a young family of 4. The camping has play area for kids, a restaurant, bar, bathing facilities, etc. Supermarket is right in front and a lot of eateries around. Stresa is 45 min drive away and Milan an hour drive away. All in all great to spend time here. Bad: While checking out we were told that EUR 30 will be cut from the deposit because sofa was dirty. After following up and asking to see the room, we found out that sofa was fine but the bed linen (its there essentially to protect the mattress) had some chocolate marks. In any case, they finally agreed not to cut EUR 30. It left a bad taste, we wasted 1.5 hours in check-out. It was a perfect holiday just spoilt by the check-out process.

Good: equipments; restaurant (which also sell bread in the morning) and tent location Bad: the price; the general noise of the camping (very hard to sleep before midnight) It can be noted that on the Friday morning a car go thoughout the camp to spread water for the vegetation. While it is completely understandable it is very noisy and start at 6 a.m.!!!! Unless you can sleep under a strom I cannot recommend this camping in August

Most facilties closed most of the evening and morning. Unfriendly staff. Overpriced for campers. Lake not very clean at this spot.

We had the premium bungalows (+ 2000 €/week). Okay, we knew there was an extra charge for airco, but then we found out there was an extra charge for linen, towels, tennis, etc. Pool was small, beach was not private, small and overcrowed. Animation for kids was zoned out. Not the experienced we hoped for (for a premium price).

Very nice campsite. Pretty big. Pitches are kept incredibly well. Bathroom were clean. You need a swimming cap when in the pool (even the young kids 2yo) which to me seems a little silly but fair enough.. restaurant nice, good food, very busy so i would recommend to book a table.

I don’t often post reviews, however after the amazing week I’ve just had, felt like I should. Where do I start… amazing beach, great restaurant, great evening entertainment, super location and friendly staff… I could go on. The kids absolutely loved it and we can’t wait to return!

This site is very expensive for what it is, compared to resorts like Sandaya in France. The pitches had enough space, but roads were very tight for motorhomes. It was busy and quite crammed in in early September. Staff were excellent, friendly and spoke excellent English. We were grateful that when we lost our key card, the staff later told us they had found it. Price was extravagant. It was around €75 per night for 2 adults, 1 child and a dog. Electric was €7 per day. The swimming pool was nothing special. The slide goes into the deep pool, which was a bit deep for me to stand in. There is an 0.8m children's pool. Unfortunately we weren't aware of the rule in Italy that bathing hats are always required. They are sold at the pool for €3 or €2 at Gigante. The playground is much more impressive. There is a noticeboard with times for entertainment at the arena, but nothing easily found online. The Gigante supermarket at the edge of the campsite- 5 min walk from our pitch - was probably the best thing about the site. The other end of the site gives access to the lake. Toilets were decent, and there are waste disposal points at each toilet block. However, because it's quite open aired, that meant the showers were always exposed to the smells from waste disposal. Hot showers is a bit of an exaggeration in the mornings. The location was handy and there are shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. Overall, I was quite underwhelmed by the site for the cost. Everything was decent enough and okay - we would come back. It may just be the location that adds to the price, but I would look elsewhere first. I think €45-50 per night would have been more reasonable.

Nice place but very small, areas for the campers looks more like a parking lot then a camping, swimming pool is crowded; you can reach by feet a nice lake beach and a cool supermarket (tho camping has no market inside since it would have been useless)

I recommend that you do NOT make any reservations at this campsite. I had a reservation with them, they canceled my flight and although they tell you something on the phone, then they don't return your money, they lie to you and they don't help customers. They have won 300 euros, but they have lost a client and they have earned a very bad reputation. You can't treat people like that, greed ends up paying dearly. That area is full of much better establishments, I recommend you look for another one, these are scammers.

Nice location on the beach front. Great for families with large pitches and shade. Bar is fine but be prepared for people smoking. You forget how it used to be in the UK. Did break an entrance pass (hotel type plastic card) and was charged 10 euro which is excessive. My mum stayed in the apartments which are very good.

Direct access to little beach, very nice big playground for children with restaurant next to it. Camping is big, but not to big. We had a maxi caravan (Camelia), which was nice. The double bed was not good though. The bed base was bend in the middle, and we got a backache from it. But overall we would definitely recommend it with (little) kids!

Second visit and the place doesn’t disappoint on return. The Selectcamp reps seem to all be lovely whenever you go. In 2020 the rep was James, who twice helped us out immediately with minor issues with the mobile home. The mobile homes themselves are cleverly designed and immaculately clean. The site is a lovely mix of glamping, camping, caravanning and what seem to be semi-permanent residents. The new entertainment complex seems to aimed at the younger guests and their families. Eleven Cafe seems to have gone a little more upmarket than our first visit, but is still excellent value for money given the quality.

An excellent place to spend your vacation! A nice, clean and modern camp site with all the luxuries you would expect. Staff are very friendly, the restaurant serves good food and there is a swimming pool and beaches at the lake. The camp site is maintained to a very high standard. Definitely worth your time and money for a good vacation!!
