Spent 20+ minutes waiting at the paint counter to be served while 5 different bunnings staff members either walked by aimlessly or stood talking and just watching me stand there. Then it took a good 30 minutes in line while there was only one person checking people out and the self serve checkouts were closed. To top it off they were out of tester pot paints and could only give me the more expensive pots, at my expense of course. Very much a waste of time going to this bunnings. Rude, unhelpful and understocked.

Dreadful staff rude and and unhelpful some not wearing masks.staff were too busy talking to each 9ther instead of packing shelves,the shop was very empty with sooo many eisles closed. Register only 1 at service counter l have found that the quality of bunnings has gone down hill Its a shame theres no alternative as we would never go to a bunnings again

I would give 0 stars if I could. I wanted help getting a certain plant and I spoke to someone named Amy. She turned away and continued to speak to another team member. It was quite frustrating that I had to go ask someone inside to help me.

Not a bad Bunnings, but they have a very limited range. Some of the staff are really ordinary as they prefer to talk to each other and joke about rather than actually help a customer. We went to purchase a simple steel garbage bin, only to find that yes, they have several dozen bins available BUT NOT ONE LID. When I approached a staff member to query it, he said it is the customers fault - they steal all of the lids, and that is why they had none. Yeah, sure buddy.

I find the staff are usually wrong when I get advice from them here. It's a shame because they are only 2 minutes away from home. Worth the trip to Mill Park Bunnings

Middle of a weekday and only the service desk and tool shop checkouts open. Long lines of people getting really frustrated at the delays. They have the self serve checkouts closed when they could save customers so much time, but no that's too logical. They dont seem to be able to read the mood of the upset customers waiting in long lines, and never had an apology for the long wait. Happens all the time. Also they are always very low or out of stock, seems to be the worst store for this. Ive just stopped going there now, it's not worth it. Go down the road to Mill Park and everything you need is fully stocked and you dont have the long wait at checkout

This branch is spacious with plenty of selections of items. The car park is more than enough. The staff is friendly and helpful.

I went there on Wednesday and it is quiet, there is no customer service at all when I need to talk to someone, staff just walk around aimlessly. Steer away if you are after good customer service.

I visited Bunning Mernda yesterday evening to pick and pay for a few items that was meant for the school my wife teaches in, there were close to 6/7 items and i was not aware of what was where, my first time in this outlet. I approached one of the Bunning employees, one Ms Shaine [I hope i am spelling her name correctly], she took me to each of the isles that i had to pick the material from, helped identify the item based on the list that i was carrying. I was extremely impressed by the customer centric attitude that she demonstrated, absolutely impressive indeed and speaks volumes of the training that she would have received from her employer. Stunning Indeed, Thank You for the professional service levels that you provided Ms Shaine.

I gave one star I would give 0 if I could to staff in Bunnings , very last , don't give a damn about you, I have been treated badly because I have an accent. I couldn't remember the name of the manager that really dropped my dignity to ground. However, I promise to bring her name by visiting Mernda Bunnings next time not to buy anything . Just to find out her name only, I swear never buy things from any Bunnings shop again I rudder drive a few extra miles to another company. Not to go to these racist people.

Staff are lovely, easy to find items but only one server open and self serve was closed. Might be just due to day/time I was there, but more service generally would be good.

Possibly my favourite place in the world. Somewhere I can reliably invite my wife and children to and be guaranteed that they wont come along. Multiple isles of tools I don't really know how to use and building materials I don't know the purpose of. As far as men's mental health goes there should be one of this funded by every local council in Australia. Perhaps that's where we could put the 3 billion we are saving from not hosting the Commonwealth games. Love you Bunnings and see you soon. I've got a bunch of thingies I need to grab today. :)

Newish store, very quiet compared to other sites. So plenty of parking. Had a sausage sizzle on a Friday which is always a bonus.

Visit was disappointing despite Bunnings being one of my favourite stores. Stock was very mixed rather than sorted by item and when I asked for stock on hand - stock software showed quality 29 but staff were unwilling to find stock. Merely advised row in store and when told only one in any box, not willing to search store in upper stock shelves.

Went to bunnings mernda to buy a camera door bell on special. Picked the box off the shelf took it to cashier to find it was an empty box and they had none in stock even though there were plenty of empty boxes on the shelf. Cashier said we had to go to special orders for this item. Why would you have empty boxes on the shelf and no actual products.,$199 lost sale.

Absolutely the friendliest staff around always cheerful helpful and knowledgeable except the young boys in trade who seem to hampered by an instruction not to leave their station. Not the largest Bunnings but almost everything you need on a regular basis for house and garden. A weekend jewel putting Auman’s out of the flower business…

Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Always find great deals and prices. Staff toward other staff are so genuine it makes you wanna work their just for the laughs and teamwork. Keep up the great work guys

Only a kid went to Bunnings to get dog food with my mate on our bikes then got harrased on the way out for know reason they checked my back pak with real bad attitude I’ve never stole anything before go there all the time spend far bit of money and get treated like that maby in stead of interigating people go pack the shelves and there jobs haif the stuff was missing of the shelve

Always love shopping at Bunnings Mernda, lovely and friendly staff, sometimes it’s a bit difficult to find assistance but they make sure someone attends to you in a timely manner.

2023: It's Bunnings, what more needs to be said? A true Aussie institution, don't forget to grab a $3.50 snag on the way out and ask to have the onion placed on the bottom.

Much like any other Bunnings you can go too. Needed something from here, arrived and went to the garden area where it should've been. Wasn't there and asked from some assistance from one of the staff in the area, but even he was a little confused and apologised. Eventually found what I was after and thanked the guy. The place was very clean, as most Bunnings are so not much else to add.

I went in to get a couple of things today and on a whim decided to get an iced coffee from the cafe. Wow, what a hidden gem! Not only was the service amazing, the coffee was phenomenal, honestly the best I've had in Mernda! Thank you to the staff member who took the time to chat to me while she made my coffee, I didnt get her name, but that coffee made my day

I got a cute little plant here and I love him :> me and my boyfriend are happy with the Bunnings here as the staff were super helpful

Extremely dangerous place to go shopping. I got mugged on the way out by the checkout.(I did take off with a fair few goodies though) Range is limited in comparison to some stores but generally well stocked

Not much of a “warehouse” when their only forklift is apparently broken, and so stock I need that is up high on a pallet cannot be bought. No other alternative available in stock. Had to wait 20 mins and ask twice for help to check in the first place, next to no staff around on a Thursday evening about 6pm.

Thank you “Pin” for all your assistance when I phoned, then came in to look at and subsequently purchase a dishwasher. Pin found a dishwasher that met all my particular “wants” I really appreciate you going out of your way to help me.

Dont get the delivery. You pay extra for it, there is no ETA given, out of multiple deliveries not a single one has been complete requiring chasing up with the store as they tell you it has been complete. Proof of delivery is your name with a signature forged by the driver. This is NOT GOOD ENOUGH.

Nice and close to my home at only 600m. I was pleased when they opened this store. The stock available is sometimes a hit and miss, they usually have what I am after when it comes to essentials like batteries. The staff I've encountered over time have always been helpful and friendly so I cannot relate to others' feedback on this aspect... Bunnings Mernda loses stars for always having their self checkouts closed. It would be useful to ultilise them since they have them there anyway! It would be convenient for me and most customers to just go self checkout when I am buying a single pack of sugar wipes...

Great garden centre but no-one around to provide assistance. Staff only stationed at the checkout area and not very interested or friendly towards customer's. Is there cultural issues towards caucasian customers because they avoided eye contact with us and not even a smile. We are all in this life together.

If you want paint you are better off going to a paint store Bunnings Mernda has never got anyone at the paint desk, you have to ask staff to call someone This happened to me 4 times in a week so not just a once off

Called in on Sunday afternoon, hardly any staff to serve you. Shelves all a big mess. A lot of stock boxes everywhere half unpacked.

Staff very friendly and customer experience is awesome from the moment you enter store and leave the store.

The customer service in this place is absolutely shocking, you can't find a team member except at the front, they used to have staff walking around helping people not anymore, I guess profit before service these days.

Bunnings has a huge range of products at price points to suit everyone. My local store needs better checkout service but everything else is good.
