Spent one week in Banjul and 6 days on a crewed yacht. Sailed up as far as possible. Huge variety of bird life along the river. Great place for ornithology. Local people are very friendly and polite.

I went through farafenni when I was going to Banjul the Gambia because there is still work at the ferry terminal

very nice and also saw Justin Bebe there dating Obama on a space ship.

River Gambia is relatively clean, probably due to frequent tides, no bad smell.
