I really enjoyed my oxtail dish. The ambience is cozy but the music is nice and adds to the vibe. It's open late for those who enjoy a late bite. Be sure to try the Sorrel and Apple Crumble with Ice Cream. It was made hot and was Sooooooooo good. I recommend the place to anyone who wants a taste of Jamaica while in the Gambia. The owner is very nice and the service is prompt and attentive.

The food was amazing! Try the oxtails or curry goat(spicy) if you are perusing the menu looking for a filling entree! The ambiance is cute and the staff are so engaging and helpful. Ask for Yankuba, Kawsu or Muhammad - they are rockstars and so attentive which made my experience 5 stars! I will be back - love from the US! ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿฅฐ

By night this restaurant doubles up as a club 3 nights per week and you get an authentic Jamaican sound in The Gambia. This is a new venue so if you like jerk, stew peas and rice, plantain, salt fish and ackee etc, head to this new venue for authentic Jamaican food and music! For you music lovers, there are 3 themed nights, Friday's provide bashment style music, Saturday's provide pure soul music and Sunday's provide easy listening reggae. Nice proprietors who make everyone feel welcome. Keep it up!

If I could give 10 stars I would. Every single item I have eaten (with my fussy self) has been delicious. My favourite is roti with plantain and callaloo and the pumpkin soup is to die for! I am a vegan and Malika (the owner) has increased her Vegan/vegetarian menu month on month. Great atmosphere karaoke on a Monday and Fish Friday is always packed. Everyone will enjoy this Jamaican fusion in the heart of Gambia. Love itโค๏ธ

If you are looking for a touch of Jamaica in Gambia, this the place to go! Mosiah's is the only Jamaican Bar & Restaurant in Gambia and I completely loved the experience. The food is great and the customer service is excellent. Mosiah is very popular with tourists. Highly recommended.

Located only 300m from the main road easy to reach by a wide sand road, this reataurant not only offers the best ice cream of Southern Gambia, but also has an exquisite a la carte menu carefully assembled by the owner, a Swedish chef with lots of experience in fine dining. Most extraordinary is the price setting that is even slightly below other local restaurants offering far less quality. I would like to recommend the latest menu addition, the BBQ chicken plate, and as well the Swedish Kjotbullar (meatballs) in case you are sick and tired of Gambian rice dishes. My congrats to Oliver and his local staff for a job well done. Pedro M.J. Wyns January 2020

THE place to go for delicious food! Tastes better than my Jamaican Grandmother's cooking, no lie. The jerk chicken was seasoned perfectly, smoked pink and the perfect amount of spicy heat. The oxtail was so tender and the rice and peas were fire. Even the callaloo held its own. Service was fast and everyone working in the restaurant was incredibly friendly. You can tell that the owners only believe in quality and hold themselves to a high standard. Definitely planning on making this a weekly spot. Food and drink prices are extremely reasonable, especially considering the high quality.

Great place with a great atmosphere... marley & angel were both lovely as were the workers i got to know sam, yankee (even if yankee is quieter) & yassen and they were great people also the food was very authentic tasting (like my mums ๐Ÿ˜Š) and the cocktails just right ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿพ. At night the resturant had a lively jovial feel to it with local musicians playing live music, I would highly recommend anyone going to gambia to most definietly pay mosiahs a visit to grab a meal & just hang out ๐Ÿ˜.

Well where do I start? I travelled to The Gambia with my son, he was working on a project for his university dissertation. We were there for three weeks and I think we ate there for two and a half out of the three weeks! We found this gorgeous little restaurant off the beaten track, down a dusty little Road! It's full of life, spirit and great conversation! Every guest is welcomed, entertained and well looked after! Whether it's the owner Oliver, the cook Mumma or waitresses maimuna and Fatu, everyone is treated as 'that' special guest! The food is wonderful, cooked with love and happiness - you can hear them joking in the kitchen together. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฝ And if you're lucky enough to taste some of Christina's (Oliver's wife's) desserts don't miss the chance! Whether you're wanting a moment to get out of the sun and read one of their books in the library or looking for a cosy quiet night together, an exciting meeting with friends or even if you're alone - go along and find out for yourself; you'll leave with a smile and be going back for more!!!

Wheelchair accessible โ™ฟโœ”๏ธ. The owners are very nice people. My expectations were pretty high which wasn't met during my first visit, hopefully the next time I visit again. The food orders took extremely long when there were just two of us at the place. The African Sunrise mocktail was really good and the salads but the Jamaican Jerk Chicken was pretty burnt and lacked the strong jerk chicken seasonings taste. The butter fish also lacked the taste and the side sauce wasn't all that. We were both expecting a bomb experience since we both have a strong passion for food but it wasn't met this time.

Good service and nice atmosphere BUT: 1) the king prawns we ordered were baby shrimp sized and 2) the โ€œgourmet burgerโ€ comprised bread, dry (although tasty) patty, salad and mayo and ketchup on the side - very dry and very few ingredients, did not feel that gourmet to me.

We visited Mo2 in search of vegetarian/vegan food whilst holidaying in The Gambia. We both had the VitalItal stew peas with a side of steamed cabbage and a cristal beer, with a veggie pattie to take away. The food and service were both excellent, the decor was really nice and the staff were friendly and attentive. The restaurant was approximately a 15-minute walk from the Sengegambia strip where our hotel was located. The bill came to D1600 (approximately ยฃ20). We would like to go back to try the callaloo and plantain rice and maybe have a pina colada before we fly home. Recommended for vegetarians and meat eaters alike.

Nobody holidays in Gambia without visiting Mo2! โ€ฆMy husband and I have visited the hugely popular restaurant regularly since 2016 the service then was fantastic great food great atmosphere and location, itโ€™s continuously got better. Angel the owner is lovely, super friendly always walks around chatting with customers and interacts in the many events and parties held at the restaurant. As for the food you really wonโ€™t find a more diverse menu in any other restaurant in The Gambia, whilst itโ€™s generally Jamaican Cuisine she has a very extensive menu with many uniquely created dishes that donโ€™t only taste fabulous but are also beautifully presented.

I had the jerk wings with chips and they were some of the best jerk wings I have ever had. I also highly recommend the caiprihina made by their bartender, he was great with mixing the drinks. There is nothing not to like! The restaurant/bar is located in a wonderful garden, and I felt I was dining in The Gambia. Friendly and fun Chef and staff offers a wide selection of local as well as international (including vegetarian) dishes. I had my best meals in this restaurant while in The Gambia. I tried local dishes as well as international, and I was satisfied with them all. The lovely Swedish/English couple that manage this pearl of restaurants, have an extensive experience as restaurant owners in Sweden, so I noticed the high restaurant standards that I afterall am used to and appreciate. It was not unusual to see Oliver (who runs the restaurant) peeling potatoes in the kitchen with a big smile on his face, interacting and joking with his staff and then the next moment, floating among the tables making sure we were all enjoying our dinner. I saw him drive his staff home at night to make sure they got home safe. It matters. All these little things, but they all adds upp to the taste of that great drink and food on the plate ... Iโ€™ll Be Back ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Most of the items in the menu are unavailable but they won't tell you that immediately. I asked about one dish - waiter explained to me what it was and only when I wanted to order it they told me they don't have it XD I wouldn't mind third world standards if they had third world prices but the place is not cheap by any means. The food was okay-ish but most of our group ended up with something different than what we initially wanted

Loved this restaurant! Angel helped us on our first day in Kotu so thought we'd give her place a try..... we were not disappointed! Great food with a twist on traditional dishes.... Jamaican, Gambian and English.... Fish pie, Chicken curry, chips, Apple crumble and ice cream all delicious. Lovely staff, friendly atmosphere and busy, busy, busy so get there early or book a table! Don't miss it if you're in the Gambia.

Surprise! In the middle of the Gambia dust (which is okay) a clean friendly place and the food makes me happy. Well cooked vegetarian. Locals get their takeaway food here. So I will be back :)

A live band was performing that day on the stage. Also I had an opportunity to observe the sunset having a glass of whiskey. A good p...

๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ Not wheelchair accessible โ™ฟ๐Ÿšซ. One of the nicest staff. They have another branch at the entrance of Senegambia called Saffron by the police checkpoint. I have had most of the Indian curries and I love them, they have a strong authentic taste. The chicken lollipop is my favorite, the lady fish is so...
