Restaurant

👍👍 An absolutely delicious and refreshing lunch on our way to the airport. The setting is a beautiful respite in the middle of the craziness and the food is unbelievable. We were told many times this place is a “can’t miss” and we were not disappointed! The homemade ginger beer was such a highlight. People often mention local, great, service, walk, good, recommend, excellent, nice,

If you're ever in Basseterre St. Kitts be sure to check this place out. Went once and had to go back. They have a variety of dishes. Chicken, Ribs, Lamb and more. They are all great. If your in Basseterre on a cruise ship, it is a short walk on Bay Rd. The staff are friendly and helpful. The price are good considering it is near the tourist section. I would recommend this place.

Friendly staff, amazing local food. Try the garlic conch, and the spicy pork. Fork tender and the flavor has layers. Only a 15 min walk from the ship. Go explore!

Really great food, good service. Neat place with lots of locals. Really like the mashed green bananas. The drinks were delicious also.

Venture out of the port to El Fredo's! I had the ribs, my husband had the snapper, and our friends had the lobster and shrimp. Everything was amazing and you literally can not beat the prices. Our bill was about $80 American dollars and that included a few rum punches. It's close enough to walk to from the port.

Great service, absolutely wonderful food, I've eaten here 4 days in the last week. Love it. Chef Jasmine and her husband Kenny are great host and Dee, the server, is knowledgeable and knows the menu and the drinks. Will always eat here when I come to St.Kitts.

This is such a warm family oriented restaurant that you feel welcomed and right at home every time. Meals are delish and consistent at affordable prices! The atmosphere is light being surrounded by lush greenery and breezy because of the close proximity to the beautiful Caribbean Sea. What more can you ask for?! Oh wifi perhaps?! Yeah, there's that too. So make up your mind to pay a visit and enjoy as much as I do. Mainly because I'm here 8 out of 7 days a week but don't tell my bank account that bit! Haha 🤭😅😋

We enjoyed Fredo’s so much that we came here twice. Highly recommend the creole pot fish and garlic conch! Bonus that the dining area has a laid back and leafy courtyard vibe.

For cruise passengers looking for an authentic meal, this is the place and easy walking distance from the pier. As of this writing, they are only open Tue thru Sat 11 to 3.

Small local restaurant with fresh, delicious home made food. Friendly, quick service. Cozy place with fans to cool you down, nets to keep things away and a nice chilled vibe. Food was excellent. Reasonable prices. Well worth the 10 minute walk from the Cruise Terminal to enjoy authentic local food. Highly recommend.

Ventured out of the port for this lovely place, and I'm glad we did. It was about a 6 minute walk at a brisk pace, but worth it! Walking is kind of hairy if you're not from here and from the states, just be super careful. Wait staff was super nice and accommodating. Explained what we asked for and calculated cost into American dollars for us. So they do take both forms of cash. Had the lobster shrimp combos and they were good! Thr pumpkin fritter was TO DIE FOR and I'll be trying to replicate those at home here in NY! Thank you for taking in two clueless Americans and being so gracious!

Food is very nice, service is great, but it’s at a main street so it can be noisy sometimes. All over all a recommendation. Try the conch with garlic, great stuff.

I ordered two items: one to have and one to go. The wait time was fair. The waitress was pleasant. The salmon meal was good except that it had a slight "fresh" scent and I was quite surprised at the small portion size of the ground provisions. The ground provisions is what made me want to try this place, so I was disappointed when I saw what was offered. I ordered a chicken roti to go and I didn't like it at all. Somethings should be kept simple/traditional and this is one of them. It's also topped with a sweet tamarind or mango chutney which I didn't like. Would I go back there? Yes. I like the chill vibe and I know to stick to their full meals.

Don't miss this place. We had the Saltfish and the Stew Mutton with dumplings for a side. The homemade chili relish was excellent but try a tiny bit for starters because it's super spicy! The ginger beer was phenomenal and a nice large pour. They accept credit card.

Google said it was top rated and it was. Small little hole in the wall with excellent food. Had the lobster and shrimp with boiled green bananas with pina coladas. All for less than $60usd. Only 1 waitress so plan on taking your time. Well worth it.

The food, service and atmosphere was excellent. I was in a party of 8 people and Ken & Jasmine plus the team provided a service that was intuitive, with drinks and food arriving at the perfect time. Their friendly attitude and focus on getting it right for the customer stood out. The food and drinks provided a true taste of the Caribbean which can be difficult to stay authentic. This was achieved masterfully. The mix of visitors and local customers was great to see and a clear sign of a thriving culture centre. If only there were more El Fredo's in the world, people would have full bellies and fuller hearts.
