Worst meal I've had in St.Kitts since I've lived here. I was soo excited to try the restaurant week menu since I've been hearing such great reviews but i was disappointed. The starters were "watered down",they had no flavor. My date had the sweet potato and pumpkin soup and i had the conch friters. The entree *sigh* was the biggest disappointment. The pigeon was hard and the steak was not medium, it was hard and chewy. I expected a whole steak but i got a steak that was sliced in three and there was so much gravy, my rice was swimming. I took my dessert to go because i was so disappointed.

Serendipity is a lovely restaurant perched atop a hill with beautiful views over Basseterre and the bay. The owner and staff were all very welcoming and service was great. My wife and I shared the calamari starter which was lightly battered and not remotely oily. I had the Blackened Grouper which was very fresh and tasty with a lovely plantain side. My wife had the panko shrimp and fish goujons which were spectacular! We both had our mains with their red rice which again was very good. So the food and the view make this place well worth a visit. It is on the pricier side for the island but worth a trip for sure.

An absolutely quaint and divine restaurant where I love going to for lunch or dinner. The owners are wonderful people, and the food is both scrumptious, appetising, and well presented. There is a great selection of dishes to choose from their menu, which arrives soon after ordering and always piping hot, that adds to the experience. Serendipity Restaurant is definitely a great place to dine if you want a beautiful view of the Basseterre Port in an intimate and romantic setting away from the crowds. Highly recommended by me and worth a five-star review

This is probably the "nicest" restaurant outside of a 5 star resort on the island, but that's not a high bar to clear. It's expensive and the food is fine. Presumably because of the difficulty to get fresh ingredients here, it's nothing remarkable. The only customers are foreigners, perhaps because of the prices. The view is nice, but expect to hear lots of sunburned Americans arguing with each other. If you're tired of the food desert on the rest of the island, come here for an expensive and not terribly authentic respite. I don't mean this to sound overly harsh, it's just the realities of the place.

For St. Kitts dining this is best you’ll eat on the island. Better than Marshall’s! Great view, wonderful service and flavorful food. Started with warm bread followed by our apps of vegetable spring rolls and the fried Brie cheese which were tasty and done perfectly. We also had the sirloin, veggie fajitas, and the shrimp, scallop and lobster medley which were also delicious and flavored perfectly. We ended it with the strawberry cheesecake which was a perfect ending to our wonderful meal. A must dine if you’re visiting St. Kitts.

One of the best restaurants on the island. The food was delicious. The services were EXCELLENT (you cannot say that about every place on the island). We even brought a birthday cake to celebrate and they decorated and added a very nice candle. The view was also very nice, with the cruises and everything. The atmosphere is very cozy. Definitely recommend the place!

Great restaurant. Food was perfect and service was excellent. Wife had a seafood medley and I had the grouper. The appetizers of deep fried brie and calamari were a great start. Only downside was my chocolate dessert which was average.

Wonderful food and wonderful service. The conch chowder was amazing. The fried brie was great. Steak for dinner and Fish and chips. But the dessert was by far the best. Apple crumble and cream brew! Nice change from lobster from every day. AMAZING SERVICE! AMAZING VIEWS.

Food was hot when it was served normal size portions.... shocked by the menu was a bit pricey.... 2pc fish and chips and one mix drink was about $41.00usd...decent service time and staff was attentive and kept water refilled. Overall, decent but pricey, not sure I would return based on value for the $$

Thank you Alex!! Super food, great hospitality and even better staff... We appreciate that you and the Team were able to accommodate all of us on such short notice. The ox tail was perfect, the snapper was delectable and everyone loved the chocolate cake and ice-cream. We'll see you again!

I had mixed seafood madley. Not much flavor. I got one little cherry tomato as a side vegetable. The view was nice but the place was a little run down considering the prices. The service was good. I didn't like that the restaurant made me pay in us dollars when the prices on the menu were in East Caribbean dollar. Basically they forced their exchange rate on the customer.

I went for lunch at the restaurant. The island is very hot right now, so the cool breeze at the restaurant was welcomed and appreciated. We were greeted with a smile. The food was good. We had calamari and the mahi mahi lunch special and creme brulee for dessert. Serendipity also delivers a great standard of food, service and atmosphere. A visit for lunch or dinner is a must when on the island

Delicious local cuisine. We had a rented vehicle and drove about 25 minutes from our hotel. Streets and surrounding area are a little sketchy with lots of human and non-human obstacles to avoid in the streets but the restaurant was peaceful and had a beautiful view of the harbor. Staff was attentive and pleasant. Empty at the 6:30pm Thursday time of our reservation but filled out to about 1/2 capacity by the time we left an hour later.

Great place, lovely views of the sea. Serve local traditional and European cuisine. There is something for everyone on the menu I think. Definitely a restaurant to try if you're visiting and want to try some upmarket cuisine but also as a local. Well recommended

We had the grouper, the conch fritters and coconut shrimp. The fish and chips was also grouper and was spectacular. If we ever make it back to St Kitts we’re going back to Serendipity for the Grouper Fish Fry.

My family and I had a wonderful experience dining here on whim yesterday evening. Though we didn’t have a reservation, they graciously sat us immediately though almost all tables were occupied when we arrived. We had Conch Chowder, Caribbean Seafood Bouillabaisse, Char-Grilled Spanish Octopus and Crispy Calamari Rings to start. Outside of the calamari being a little too overcooked (sliced thin before being battered, so a little too dry upon frying) the other 3 dishes were top notch! For dinner we ordered, the Blackened Grouper Filet, the Large Scallop/Shrimp/Lobster medley, the Shrimp Pasta Alfredo and the Grilled 10oz Angus Sirloin Steak dishes…all were fully flavorful, beautifully presented, very well prepared and abundant. Unfortunately we didn’t have room for dessert, but will use it as an excuse to return again. Service was great and the breeze was incredible. What a wonderful evening…thank you!

Found this place on our wander out of the port area very worth the short walk. All staff were friendly and helpful. Had a couple drinks and sat on the outside terrace, everything was delicious.

Really enjoyed the fried fish and shrimp. They are packed with flavor and very crispy outside but tender inside.

Husband ordered the panko shrimp and goujons. I had the steamed grouper. Each of us enjoyed our lunch. The steamed grouper was very flavorful. I did read a review on not getting the calamari as theirs was overcooked. We ordered the appetizer calamari, each calamari was different sized so some were a little over but the bigger pieces just right.

Fantastic dinner. the staff was on point and super friendly. I would go back every night... but, my wife said no. don't miss this little gem. Reservations were a good move too. check out the view of the township.

The only reason I gave a 4 is because the dish I ordered (seafood medly) was a bit overdone ,very salty and few things that I asked for never came .. we did try to ask the owner about the history but she was very busy ... my comment should not deter others from trying this beautiful spot overlooking the distant sea. A very British west indies space with killer outdoor seating 💺.. located in downtown st kitts. A must try and off the beaten path

Delicious dinner...a wee bit pricey. Loved the cats who waited below for a treat. Very windy at the windows edge....kept blowing all things away.

The food, service and environment in this stellar restaurant is the best we have experienced thus far in St Kitts. The service was impeccable and the food- plentiful, flavorful and delicious! I highly recommend Serendipity for a wonderful meal!!

The food is always great, beautifully plated and tasty. Cocktails were good. Staff is always so pleasant and professional. View over the harbor area. Had Cajun shrimp dinner, asked for some spice, was tasty! Husband enjoyed the oxtail meal. The squash soup-delicious! Had chocolate mousse to share & cappuccino to finish the meal. Love the atmosphere. Highly recommend.
