My husband & I recently stayed here for three nights with two other parties. We LOVED it here. The rooms were very comfortable with attached modern bathrooms. We ate at the restaurant in the main hotel and the newer one with the water driven wheel. Both were excellent. We highly recommend this wonderful hotel.

We have stayed here four times in the past five years, each time between two and four nights, in different rooms and different houses. We love this place completely and can safely describe it as the *most exquisite* rural 4-star hotel we know in Europe and the US. The service is well-trained and attentive, the menu is wide-ranging, locally-sourced, and gloriously fresh. Even the kid's menu is remarkable. The rooms are chic and modern, while allowing the historic architecture to remain prominent. The terraces are immaculately styled, and the gardens and forest paths are timeless and peaceful. What a wonderful place. We will come again back soon.

Really nice place for a short getaway. Friendly staff, good food and wonderful surroundings. Several trekking routes and a nice Waldspielplatz (playground) are also available.

Fabulous food in a fabulous setting. I particularly loved the teapot with a tea light underneath to keep the tea hot.

Hotel rural y encantador... Specially good restaurant where you feel as if you where at home.

Family favourite. Great walks in the doorstep and then a wonderful selection of cake and coffee, or beer and wine. Also great food.

Excellent hotel and very friendly service. Also a good restaurant. If I need to give one negative point, but I would normally not mention it, I would say the shower has no thermostate on the tap. This is the only critic I could find :)

Very quiet and remote location. Interior is really nice. Old farm house style. Place was very busy. Rooms are also nicely decorated. Power switch off for rooms is a little strange. It kills all power even for tv. So no tv watching while falling asleep or watch tv with lights on. Breakfast was ok but staffing made it very clear at 10:09 when we enters the breakfast room that at 10:30 the buffet is closed. Precisely at 10:29 staff person started clearing breakfast. Bedding could be more premium and comfortable. Reminded me of ibis style. Not something you would expect in this location for 149€ a night in the middle of nowhere. More pillows, higher quality and please get different mattresses.
