I
had
a
very
different
experience
with
this
store
than
others
who
have
posted.
I
ordered
spices
from
the
company
in
January,
2021,
and
paid
through
PayPal.
The
company
did
not
claim
my
payment
within
a
month
and
PayPal
cancelled
the
payment.
I
did
not
realize
this--a
cancelled
payment
does
not
appear
in
the
transaction
section
of
my
credit
card
statement.
In
early
November,
2022,
I
received
a
letter
from
a
collections
agency
telling
me
I
hadn't
paid
my
bill.
This
was
news
to
me.
I
found
the
PayPal
transaction
(which
required
quite
a
bit
of
my
time)
and
then
discovered
the
cancellation
of
the
transaction.
Why
was
the
transaction
cancelled?
Because
the
company
did
not
claim
the
money
within
30
days.
I
spent
the
ensuing
week
writing
both
to
their
accounting
department
and
collections
agency,
during
which
neither
recipient
seemed
to
be
reading
my
notes.
Today
I
received
this
from
the
Gewürzhandel:
For
reasons
of
sustainability,
all
of
our
systems
are
designed
to
send
e-mails.
This
is
quite
common
in
e-commerce.
Unfortunately,
we
cannot
understand
the
statement
from
the
forum
that
you
kindly
sent
us.
[I
have
no
idea
what
these
first
three
sentences
are
referring
to.]
In
the
case
of
automatic
payment
with
PayPal,
we
have
no
direct
debit
options.
However,
the
fact
is
that
you
ordered
something
and
received
the
goods.
It
is
not
our
job
to
send
you
reminders
by
post
or
to
contact
you
by
phone.
The
call
would
have
been
your
job
when
you
saw
the
payment
went
down.
Please
understand
that
we
have
made
no
mistake
here.
We
realize
you
just
found
out
about
this
because
you
said
you
didn't
receive
the
reminder
emails,
so
we're
willing
to
come
to
an
agreement
too.
Your
invoice
has
been
outstanding
for
almost
two
years.
This
is
your
fault
and
not
ours.
We
are
still
prepared,
as
BFI
has
already
informed
you,
to
withdraw
this
case
as
a
gesture
of
goodwill,
so
that
you
only
have
to
transfer
the
main
claim
by
bank
transfer
or
PayPal.

paid
by
PayPal
again--and
am
hoping
that
the
company
manages
to
claim
the
payment
before
it
expires.
Needless
to
say,
I
have
not
a
shred
of
good
will
toward
the
Bremer
Gewürzhandel.
They
have
lost
my
business
to
their
competition.
I
hope
the
company
gets
some
training
in
customer
relations--they
sorely
need
it.
