Wonderful cafe and wonderful atmosphere - best brunch place we went to during our whole Berlin trip. The cookie (not picture) is divine - I cant stop thinking about the cookie. It’s super buttery and I can even smell the butter! The avocado toast was lovely - the sourdough bread was very nice texture and the avocado was superb. They know how to choose the avocado: not bitter, soft, smooth and A LOT Of it. The whole French toast was fantastic: while the toast set was swimming in maple syrup, its balanced by the citrusy jam on top and the cream tops it all up. Service is wonderful, the waiters are super friendly. Definitely recommended.

Come here for a very nice brunch! We had a very tasty French toast with homemade blueberry marmalade and maple strip, a very nice avocado toast and the chia pudding with blueberries compote and almond butter!!! We also tried one pain au chocolat filled with almond paste and dark chocolate. The cappuccino and ginger tea were also really good! The service could be a bit more attentive and bring the order with the drinks all together. This place is very popular and busy ! Be here early in the morning if you want to find a spot!

Awesome breakfast spot, the French Toast was fantastic. Thick, fluffy, and the sauce and cream were just right without being overly sweet. The breakfast sandwich was also great, especially the mayo sauce.

(Translated by Google) Outside: beautiful and simple, but sometimes there may be longer waiting times. Interior: spaciously simple and nicely decorated. Just a toilet, moderate condition. Service: very warm and friendly, relatively short waiting times. Food: relatively limited selection, fresh and vegetarian / vegan options, coffee relatively small, but good, not very cheap, but still very tasty. Conclusion: recommended and we would love to come back :) (Original) Außenbereich: Schöne und einfach, kann aber mitunter zu längeren Wartezeiten kommen.

The avo bread with poached eggs was delicious, and the chickpeas with chorizo & egg even better! Portions are huge, so bring an empty stomach. Coffee was good too, definitely making this place a regular.

Delicious brunch! Eating outside on a lazy morning is always lovely. The staff were friendly, attentive, and patient. The French Toasts were amazing (hats off to the chef). The granola was flavorful and delicious, toasted to perfection and well seasoned. Definitely recommend it for brunch 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

A VIBE if ever there was one. We just popped in for a takeaway coffee, and left resolving to return for the mountainous brunch plates we saw leaving the kitchen as we waited. The decor is gorgeous - industrial but warm and welcoming. And the team are great, extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the coffee they're serving. A coffee-lover's coffee shop.

awful… my friends asked for filtered coffee and they received the filtered coffe that u make at the office.. the bulk one. the food was expensive and not really good... I had a bagel with cream cheese, some kind of fish and greens.. all i could taste was parsley and dill and cream cheese. When the food arrived, the plate was very hot, which made me think that they microwaved it before serving. We ordered a spicy ragu toast as well, not bad not terrible but you could feel that is something pre prepared, as the canned ones so it could be faster for them. Oh, and we waited 25 mins to get in. I really didnt get the hype.

Very cool coffee place, unfortunately they don’t have many coffee options in the menu. We ordered the ragu plate and it was a bit spicy but tasty. Also; staff was very friendly.

Cool spot for Brunch. Decent avocado toast with poached eggs, great cakes and pastries as well (the lemon cake is to die for and also the almond croissant!) Outdoor area is tiny, so expect a line in order to get a seat.

Great Coffee, good French Toast and amazing pastries. The Avocado Toast below average of what is available in Berlin. Overall cute cafe. It gets super busy so plan waiting time on the weekend

Tried the Bagel with Smoked Mackerel. It was extremely messy with thick pieces of fish that should be more appropriately cut for this dish. Very small amount of juice for €4, although it was fresh. The bathroom was out of order. Table was dirty. They have a sign on the menu saying 'no laptops allowed during busy hours', so don't expect to be able to work there 🤷🏻‍♀️

A highly recommended place for brunch and coffee if you are around Berlin Mitte. I love the interior decoration of the cafe. It’s sad to see that post the pandemic they have to close on tuesdays and wednesdays due to the lack of stuff but I enjoyed my dining experience there. And to the lady who managed to make us a table despite the busy restaurant, thank you so much! You are awesome and super friendly!

My favorite coffee shop and breakfast spot in Berlin. Absolutely dank food, super cozy and kind kind kind staff. They get their gluten free bread from Aera, and it’s sooo fluffy and delicious. Everything on the menu is 💯 and it’s the perfect spot to meet a friend or just chill by yourself. Soo amazing

Distrikt Coffee is a cool coffee spot close to Mauerspark and the Berlin Wall Memorial. We sat outside, which was great, and there was enough room for us and our child. We tried the delicious but really sweet French toast and the salmon bread. It was a perfect combo of sweet and salty, and everything tasted great for breakfast. The only downside was the price – €13.5 for a single slice of salmon, egg, and spread on bread felt a bit too pricey for me.

Really good coffee and seems to attract people for that. Lovely building and interior features. It is wait to be seated and table service so a bit less casual that I like personally but it worked and we were served quickly.

Distrikt Coffee is a go-to Brunch spot for locals in Mitte, and it's easy to see why. The food, including more unique dishes like the chickpea ragout, and nailed classics like the French toast or avocado toast are simply delicious. It was once famous for its buttermilk pancakes that they had to take off the menue a long time ago, but you can still catch at it’s little sister brunch place Annelies at Görli. Interior is typical minimalistic, classy Berlin brunch place. While the waiting times can be quite long, the culinary experience makes it worth the visit for both locals and visitors alike.

Das Restaurant arbeitet ohne Reservierungen, es gilt also das Prinzip "First come - first serve".

Very very nice place! Good coffee and amazing brunch. Had the best chocolate almond croissant I‘ve ever had there 🤍🥐 Brunch portions (avo bread for example) are not that big though, so it might not be enough if you are really hungry, also prices might be a little too high in relation to the size of the portion - but still in the average range for berlin. Also very nice to sit outside (limited places though) because the cafe is located in a very calm street ☺️

Coffee was great. The avocadobread was slightly boring. Bodega breakfast sandwich was good but it was missing something. A bit expensive too.

Nice ragu toast with a beautiful poached egg on top, only downfall is the amount of apple juice you get for 3 euros

  • 5/5 Emin M. 2 years ago on Google
Everything was perfect. Good avocado toast. The other dish with sausage and Parmesan tasted a bit like Bolognese and the coffee and shake where both good. I’d remove half a point for the avo toast which was not mashed - but that is not enough to give 4 instead of 5 stars :)

First of all amazing place to get a breakfast from. Staffs are super friendly. Place is always packed, need to wait for some to get a place. That itself shows how good the place is . Breakfast menu i loved was- french toast with some toppings and brot with avocado. Great place to get a coffee and perfect breakfast from.

Service was great and the staff very friendly. The coffee was well made. Brunch options were limited but it was all very tasty. I would happily come back. There was a small waiting queue when we arrived, but it all went quite fast.

We were sitting outside and it was calm and relaxing. Next time I definitely want to try the inside as it looks beautiful inside. During our time they played piano and classical music as well which I appreciated. The coffee, homemade lemonade and pastries were delicious. Was a nice coffeebreak, would come again.

Super busy during the weekends. Perhaps a 10-15 min wait if you get there by 10:30AM. Toasts are mediocre (extremely hard toast to bite through). French toast is not french toast but two pieces of Milkbread slobbered in syrup, jam and creme fraiche (unfortunately, I don’t get the hype). Highlight was definitely the home made granola and green smoothie and the chia bowl. We did leave satisfied after the meal.

  • 5/5 Crash O. 2 years ago on Google
Amazing breakfast, the dishes are quite generous. The price is totally acceptable. If you are thinking to go, it's a good ideia to go early. It's common to have a long queue. I'm not sure, but I think there is no way to make reservations.

Incredible brunch spot with amazing specialty coffee. The French toast is quite simply the best French toast I've had in my entire life! Their filter coffee is prepared perfectly and the latte art they make is stunning. Every coffee lover visiting Berlin should make their way to Distrikt coffee.

I know your store is busy. What I would like to ask of your store is to provide fair service to everyone. Europeans can sit at a table for four even if two people come, and they even used a laptop and all their luggage at the table. But Asians don't know why two people shouldn't sit at a table for four people only to eat, and I also moved while waiting for the table, and eventually I ended up sitting in the corner. I heard you guys talking about the problem with me in German, and the food was also taken one person before my food come to me. Does your restaurant give food to customers on a broken plate? You're so unprofessional. But the food was delicious, and I give this score for trying to be kind by forcefully. It won't come twice. You ruined my mood from the morning

Amazing place to go to for a brunch! We had a bit of everything, and I’d say that the French toast was the overall favourite! Service was good as well. Toilets were a little dirty, so should be kept an eye on more often. Would revisit for sure!

They have gluten free options, that is always appreciated. But in comparison to similar places is quite overpriced. Coffee could be substantially better for the price.

Chanced upon this cafe in a quiet and moderately upscale neighbourhood on Monday morning. Not too crowded on the inside but still bustling enough. Ordered the French toast with blueberry compote — bread was nicely fluffed and soft, and portion was just right for brunch. Coffee was slightly more acidic than I would have liked (just a personal preference). In terms of service, waitress was friendly and helpful - much appreciated! Wouldn’t mind coming back with a book to read and chill 🙂

  • 3/5 Tala D. 8 months ago on Google
The place is nice. The coffee is just okay. We ordered a Salmon Toast and and the Yogurt with Granola. The toast was too dry which made it hard to eat. The Müsli Bowl was SO GOOD and tasty.

Pro: Overall, food was fine, friendly service, card payment accepted, Dog friendly, interior cool decor, recommendation: Avocado Toast with poched eggs! Cons: Squeaking chairs are somewhat annoying Bagel was re-toasted,

Great brunch but there are more interesting options in Berlin. Still a good choice in case you don’t have a reservation since there are multiple brunch places in the area.

Looking for a place for family Sunday brunch, on an overcast Sunday, we chose Distrikt Coffee in Mitte for their pouched eggs and naturally, a fix of good coffee. On arrival, we had to cue to get a table. The announced 20 minute wait though, seemed quite shorter and we were led to a table which also had sufficient space for the pram of our 1 year old daughter. After the wait, our expectations were high. The staff was friendly and accommodating throughout. The menu is rather lean and seems to cater a lot for the Vs of the patronage. We ordered the Avocado on sour dough bread with sunflower seeds and two poached eggs and a serving of the French toast with blueberry, caramelised walnuts, maple syrup and créme fraiche for the ladies, Cappuccino, iced latte and a plain coffee (filter) The avocado poached eggs combo was served out reasonably well, and having a salad other than the usual ruccola was pleasing to the eye and the mouth. The poached eggs however, whilst looking near perfect when served, turned out to be uneven cooked. Admittedly, it is an art as well as a skill to perfectly poach eggs. But once decided to put them on the menu, one should aim for that artistic perfection - consistently. Half the yolk was solid, whilst the egg white the other side was still runny. A matter of timing and movement I'd dare say. The "green Goddess" dressing was rather subtle, too subtle to be tasted or seen. The french toast was served with two rather thick, no, i should say fat slices. Buried under a generous serving of blueberry confit and a even more generous dollop of créme fraiche, the combination if the two working rather well and the maple syrup coming through it all too. Whilst overall enjoyable, nit something to come back for specifically. The cappuccino was middle of the road, the iced latte nothing special either, both sure nothing to mention at home and the filter coffee, for my taste too weak and lacking a proper base or developing flavour. Then again, i am an Arabica Coffee man. The service was good throughout and the fast accommodation of us with toddler was very much appreciated. But our expectations not met after the wait.

If you are looking for something other than the doner kebab and curry wurst fame. This little gem is one of the best finds in Berlin. The staff and maître d' are very friendly the food super tasty and beautiful prepared. The menu is small but with delicious options.

The coffee was really good and the vibes in the café are great for hanging out. The French Toast was alright, aesthetically very pleasing but the taste was so-so. Good service and lots of seating!

I recently visited Distrikt coffee shop in Berlin and had an amazing experience! I tried the avocado toast served on sourdough bread with a unique green sauce and was blown away by the flavor. To complement the meal, I also had a fantastic oat milk cappuccino. The staff were extremely friendly and the service was top-notch. The tables are served, so you may have to wait to be seated, but it's worth it. The prices at Distrikt are on the high side, with the avocado toast costing around 11.5 euros, but in my opinion, it was worth every penny. If you're looking for an exceptional coffee and food experience, I highly recommend checking out Distrikt in Berlin.

Gets a bit crowded on weekends but the waiting time was not too bad (20-30min). The food is tasty and nicely prepared. There are not that many breakfast items and most of them are rather classics than originals. When we visited they seemed to have a problem with fruit flies but I hope that this is rather a temporary issue. All in all a nice place for a brunch!

By far one of my favorite brunch places in Berlin. The food is absolutely delicious and they have the best coffee and tea. The staff is really friendly and the service impeccable. It's a really nice place to go even if you wanna chill for a couple of hours and read a book. The atmosphere here is so relaxing. If you're in the neighborhood, give it a go, you won't regret it.

Another overcrowded, unwelcoming, hipster cafe. I mean why are hipster cafe cultures so monolithic. They are universally generic now. Same furniture, same floor, same we-tried-hard-to-hide-like-we-dont-try. Anyhow, the flat white was a bit of a let down but their open avocado sandwich with poached eggs is a revelation. Nice staff. Cards accepted here. P.S. long queues on weekends, plan beforehand.

Cute cafe with a nice staff. The chai latte was so delicious I got another one to go! Food was good, but nothing super special. I think the Avocado toast was somewhat plain in comparison to others I've had before. Overall a nice spot. I reccomend the French toast.

(Translated by Google) Cool cafe to go for breakfast. On weekends, there will most likely be a queue that disappears only for dinner. We had to wait more than 20 at the entrance. Run as the tables are released. If you are 4 or more, then you may have to wait even longer. By the way, the courtyard is very cool and well maintained. The toilet is by the way in the next door. Breakfast was on top, but coffee was frankly at C grade. Judging by the reviews below, not only we did not like it. Cocoa by the way, as if from a cheap powder, is definitely not worth the money. I do not advise taking. The service is very friendly and fast.

👍 The queue can get really long in a very short amount of time. We were lucky and waited for about 5 minutes before placing our order. The place was fully packed both inside and outside after we picked up our food. We got the original döner but I was unsure about the sauce they used. The sandwich was...

👍👍 Best kebab ever that I had! I was not and am still not a fan of kebab but I absolutely love Rüyam kebab. They have good service.
