Wonderful museum filled with Bremen history and art. Well maintained. Will take you about 2-3 hours if you like reading. No English plaques, but i think most would find it worth their time if visiting.

Wonderful! The Magazine section is absolutely recommendable but you need lots of time! You also will need the tablets that they offer to see an explanation for each item, or even better a guided visit. There are another buildings outside the main museum that I still don't visit.

The museum is a great way to spend a few hours if you’re visiting the city. It’s a short tram ride from the old town and puts you in range of the botanika and shops near Horn. Many of the exhibits have English translations and they have tablets which speak out the stories of what you are seeing, with informational videos and pictures to expand on them. They said they were aiming to translate more into English however, even if you can’t read German well the historic items are worth a look anyway.

Got very good service. One of the curators actually showed me and my family everything they had to offer in their basement, it was wonderful and we really enjoyed the tour that she gave us. Just for that I am going to give 6 stars but as the English that they spoke in there was bit below average 9th grader in Finland I have to drop it down to 5 stars which is the maximum anyways.

First of all. The museum is great and, personally, I really enjoyed it and it's much bigger than it looks. A little tip of mine is that you can open the door of the boat and see inside (on deck and below) I highly recommend it if you want to learn more about Bremen and old squares. The highlight is the boat, I loved it. 🥰

I liked it very much. We were without a guide, I think it would be better with him. Friendly staff, not far from the tram stop.

Fantastic exhibit about the early 20 the century industrial development of Bremen, visited with my Mom who grew up here in the 50s and thus brought out many memories for her.

Comprehensive collection covering Bremen's history and achievements. You can spend there easily few hours wandering around admiring the variety of exhibitions. Though as the exhibitions are not so much interactive - you feel the length of your visit after some time and you might feel tired. Luckily - there's a cafe that will help you recover.

Interesting, must see in Bremen. Don't take a guide - take a solo journey through the museum. And don't miss some nice postcards close to exit. Min 1 hour to watch briefly, but plan for 2 hours, as there's interactive room also
