Very interesting place on a topic that affects us all. Here you can marvel at the old pumps, which are over 100 years old, walk through a real sewer (without wastewater, of course) and also walk through the original pump sump. You will also learn a lot about the history of wastewater technology from the Middle Ages to modern times. A great destination for the whole family. On event days, e.g. Open Monument Day, there is also a colorful program especially for children!

An impressive building that I was able to visit as part of Museum Day. Here the history as well as the entire sewer system of Bremen and the Bremen area is impressively shown, on the one hand in the museum and an old canal itself, as well as using very good models that show the Bremen sewer network and the entire water recirculation process of dirty and rainwater as well as the Show processing. A great experience, nice to have seen it! And it's good that we have clean water treatment! :-)

As part of the Long Museum Night, we visited the Old Pump Station. The technical and historical development of wastewater disposal is presented very well and clearly. The tour through the sewage system was very understandable and interesting.

Sehr interessante Location.

(Translated by Google) Technical history worth seeing. A look from the first sewage disposal to modern technology. The museum has been thought through down to the smallest detail and prepared with a lot of love. A real experience are the events on the special stage. Always worth a recommendation.
