You better take a look at the map/ layout in the beginning. Lots of smaller rooms and you might miss some rooms completely. The most extensive Klee collection that I have ever seen and I am confident that lot of artistic development was lost on my unprepared self. Picasso is much better known and therefore more approachable. Well worth the time and money. Take your time, sit down, enjoy.

Die großartige Sammlung ist derzeit wegen Renovierungsarbeiten geschlossen, aber der Berggruen Garten links daneben ist offen und eine Auswahl der Exponate ist gegenüber im Museum Scharf-Gerstenberg zu sehen!

I was hoping to see more of Picassos work. It was a very small exhibit. it was more about other painters then him.

Nice museum near Schloss Charlottenburg to spend 1 to 2 hours. Good collection to discover Picasso and Paul Klee.

Great museum with an entrance that is slightly hidden. We went there to catch some of Paul Klee's work and we were not disappointed. Unexpectedly there was also some Giacometti works and a good collection of picasso works.

Such a classy building with an even classier collection of artwork. It’s slightly overwhelming to walk amongst so many moving pieces all in one place. Due to Cov the museum has installed a one way system, implemented by rag tag team of OAP guards who make for the whole experience hilarious. Highly recommend going for the art and staying for the game of cat and mouse.

Wonderful collection of great Picasso pictures and other pictures. Worth coming just for these. Ticket price included for the museum opposite to the Berggruen Museum too. Come in a day early so you could visit all 3 museums near here, as well as the palace opposite to this museum and its big and beautiful garden.

There are many places to see Picasso of course, but this one is exceptional. Whether you are familiar with his work or not, this lovingly curated exhibition will warm your heart with accessible appreciation of the great master painter. One feels taken into his confidence and the notes accompanying the works divulge divulge Picasso’s unique perspectives. If you are not already in touch with his styles this is the best introduction I have seen in any country so far. If already a connoisseur, you may well appreciate the depth of knowledge that has gone into the presentation. This a small museum — it is dwarfed for instance by the large exhibition in Barcelona — but here you have an intimacy and grasp that is not so commonly found. What is more, the enthusiastic staff also have considerable knowledge and are happy to spend time in discussion, though this may be less so if it is very busy. Slightly out of the centre as the vast number of Berlin museums go, but absolutely worth it. One I will remember forever.

A nice museum with a cute collection of Klee, Picasso, and many other modern painters. The Klee collection, especially, was so adorable! Would recommend visiting along with Sammlung Scharf-Gerstenberg. (They sell tix to see both collections.)

What a fantastic museum with such iconic pieces. Not to busy too so you can actually enjoy the painting and the building is pretty too.

I really enjoyed Berggruen Museum. Amazing collection. Beautiful building. The artwork is laid out in such a way that makes for very pleasant viewing of all the works. Not too big that you have to rush through and not too small that you feel cheated.

I am a big fan of Henri Matisse, so it was the driving force behind my visit to this museum, which is located in the Charlottenburg district of Berlin, not far from the Schloss Charlottenburg and its beautiful park. The collection of the museum is very impressive, especially for those who like Paul Klee and Picasso, their pieces are presented more than others'. Honestly, I was pretty surprised to find a different side of Picasso's artistry. That being said, I still enjoyed very much the section devoted to Matisse. The museum also has some pieces by de Chirico. Last but not least, the staff of the museum is very friendly and helpful.

What a collection. For a small building it holds a ridiculous amount of Picasso and Klee work. Good location right near bus stops so you can easily get to and from the Zoo.

selection was quaint and nice… enjoyed the artworks. the light can be a little dark hence requiring you to lean in… you when you lean in, the security staff can be quite stern and some exhibits have this loud beeping sound when you cross the line which is a bit much… felt quite stressed being here. but there was one supervisor who was rly friendly and smiley! didnt get his name though. but you’d know who it is when you encounter him!

Really great museum! It does a great job of showing Picasso's growth as an artist and the combined ticket with the surrealism across the street was like dessert

Broad collection of Picasso's art. Also loved the room on Berggruen, that displays small cards with artwork that artists including Picasso sent to him.

Spent a good few hours in here enjoying paintings. Not peak season but was very quiet, no queue at all to get in. Only 9 Euros with Berlin Card, 12 otherwise, free for my daughter. Worth getting the free audioguide available in English. Need to get the U-bahn from center and then a short ish walk.

The building itself is beautiful, the atmosphere calm and relaxing. The Audioguide included with the ticket is great for guiding you through excellent masterpieces. Super recommended!
