I’m a medical student, and the only thing I can say is that I loved the museum. Of course it’s not the first time I see real human bodies, but the way they show them is just amazing. It’s a really good way of showing people the amazing world of human anatomy, and it’s complexity. Also, all the explanations found are really useful for the people that don’t know much about it. I’d recommend all the medical students to visit it, and I find it interesting also for every other person. There’s also this place in where they show you how they treat the bodies. Most of them are shown in another museum (a bit far from Berlin) but I’ll definitely visit it if I got the opportunity. It’s a nice plan to expend a day, and you’ll learn a lot of interesting facts!

Amazing view of the body from another perspective. Body art at it's finest. The museum is a bit small; and the price is a bit high. You are NOT allowed to bring bags into the exhibition itself. And you are required to store your belongings in a safe, which cost 2 euros. I would recommend the exhibition to others. But I dont think I would come back...

Me and my husband are both health professionals and we really enjoyed this museum. It was very interactive as well. It is small and a little pricey for what they charge and you see, but it was fun and interesting for us. Would recommend if you’re interested in the human / animal body.

Very impressive and fascinating exhibition. The exhibits are all genuine and in very good condition. Very suitable for learning, exploring and being informed. Various diseases of organs are also shown, which one can never imagine so authentically through pictures or descriptions from the doctor. Highly recommended.

Amazing museum that teaches its guests about the human body. Their exhibit was very beautiful and informative and at a reasonable prize. Would definitely recommend it to anyone interested in the human body.

Very interesting but also really bizarre. One to go to if your interested in this sort of thing. We purchased tickets in advance but on the day it was very quiet. Exhibits can get crowded so it can take a bit of time to get around.

Great museum, it enriches the experience to know that the bodies on display were donated by people. Every section of the museum has useful information that reminds us of how precious our bodies are.

Was here on an outing with my work. Decent museum. Relatively small but very densely filled with information. Can be finished fast if you race through but you can easily spend here 3 hours if you take your time. 17€ entry not cheap but acceptable. It’s not a tourist trap. Lots of interesting information about the human body. It’s a bit of a creepy topic but easier to stomach than I would have expected.

Very graphic and overwhelming, if you got any health issues and you wanna understand better its nature and see how things work in your body from within, this is the place for you. I had a great time.

Impressive and a definitely must see in Town. The deep view insight the body in addition to the meaningful words next to each part of the exhibition let you think about you life, the time and that we all should care much more about our stress level, bloodpressure, calorie intake and in general about our health. Enjoy this amazing exhibition.

Very unusual way to explore how human's body (not only human by the way) work. The most stunning thing is, that all the exhibits were alive. The way how they were worked to retain the shape is really impressive!

Fascinating! The displays are presented clearly with writing in German and English. There are a few interactive displays as well, but really the presentation of the various anatomy systems is interesting enough. Kids would enjoy it, but only for a short period of time since there is a lot of reading, so for the price of entry I’m not sure it would be worth it if your group consists mostly of children.

I'm aa huge biology enthusiast and this museum was A-MA-ZING. My companion run through and left ASAP, but if you feel more intrested than disgusted you'll find a lot of interesting displays and valuable information.

  • 5/5 Charlotte W. 1 year ago on Google • 71 reviews
An extremely fascinating place to visit. All displays in the Körperwelten Body Worlds are from real specimens, chemically treated and frozen in time in resin to preserve everything that you see in this exhibition. Even though Body Worlds Exhibition can be found world-wide, if you've never been to a Body World Exhibition then take the time to visit it in Berlin. The information provided is in both German and English, including audio options. Everything in this exhibition is educational, for children (although a young child could be frightened by the concept of this exhibition and what is on display) and adults alike. The displays are mostly visual, with some audio and interactive displays as well. Entry fees are not steep, and it is definitely worth the experience in the exhibition. The idea of the concept may seem off putting, but it isn't as appalling as some may imagine. If anything, you'll probably be more fascinated by what you will learn and see. Set aside at least 2 to 3 hours for this exhibition, all of which depending on how eager you are to absorb, read and learn about the information provided.

Absolute must see! I was here for nearly 5 hours. I wish it was a bigger exhibit since the information offered was just not enough. I especially liked how they had information plaques on both sides of the displays and not just on one side to avoid crowding around while reading.

Großen Dank in jedem Fall!

Interesting place, but too expensive:29 euro for 1 adult and 1 child! plus 2euro for 1 baggage locker- all Berlin museums don’t take your money when you use baggage locker, but not this place ((

Amazing museum - fascinating and useful, as you learn a lot about the body and show. We visited with our children around 5-6 y old and they also loved it.

  • 5/5 rosie w. 1 year ago on Google
Had some really cool exhibits to look at and didn’t take too long to look around either which I prefer as I wanted to do other things nearby too. Everyone I went with thought it was good and the best museum we had done in Berlin so far.

  • 5/5 Sandrine D. 8 months ago on Google
It was very interesting. I went there with my kids, 5 and 7. They loved it and they learned plenty of new things about health and sickness. I didn't tell them those were real people thought.

  • 4/5 Tatiana P. 4 years ago on Google
It's small, for 15 euro I think it should be bigger, it should have more languages on audioguides, more systems. And it works for ordinary people but for doctors, biologists, medical students it's a little irrealistic

  • 5/5 Gerald C. 11 months ago on Google
Pictures do not do this museum justice. If you are interested in the inner working of the body (including muscles, sinews, tendons, and viscera) or a medical student you need to check this out.

  • 4/5 Samantha S. 2 years ago on Google
I feel it's a bit pricey but definitely on the must visit list if you like learning about human anatomy. Not crowded. Audio guides available and every sign has an english part as well which is really nice compared to most other museums who only have German signs.

  • 3/5 Roman G. 5 years ago on Google
Museum is small but quite interesting. Exhibition is not scary, went there with kids and didn’t had any issues. The only thing I didn’t understand and didn’t like were paid and non-refundable lockers. That’s just greedy.

  • 5/5 Dzmitry Y. 1 year ago on Google
The ticket is 17 eur, but imo it’s worth it. Impressive work with real bodies requiring months to get them to the museum. Internal organs on display show the consequences on imbalanced diets and unhealthy lifestyle.

Small museum near Alexander Platz. The museum itself is extremely interesting and I enjoyed my visit. However, €17 entrance fee was a bit much. I would recommend a visit to anyone interested in learning a bit more about the human body but maybe not for the faint if heart!

Hammer Ausstellung.

It is a place, where you can discover a lot of new things about you body. There you will be able to see various models of a real human body with your own eyes, see interesting videos about several diseases and interact with fascinating technologies. But I think, that you shouldn't bring with you little kids till 13 years, because some models were not for the young audience.

Fantastic museum, very interesting everything in the museum is presented very well. The time and effort that goes in to preserving each body, animal and organ in there is incredible and the mini documentary on the preservation is well worth the watch and won't take up too much time and makes you appreciate the work involved in putting together such a place.

I enjoyed my overall experience here and I like to think I learned something. My only complaint is the bodies looked dusty and old, which I'm sure they are. But it was distracting to see string and glue and other materials that are holding the bodies together. I should probably donate my body when I die so they can their exhibits.
