It was such a beautiful experience- you can not only find out really interesting facts about history of black people in Berlin, but also feel the unique vibe of street culture. I really loved vibrant paintings and photos! Also the room with walls all covered in graffiti makes a perfect photoshoot location. Bonus points for the WC- it's a little bit hidden (but revealing it here feels like stealing a part of a experience from the future visitors).

Street art museum, small but interesting. This museum makes culture accessible for everyone. The artworks are explained to get mote insight. Free entrance but donations are welcome. Facades vary and exposures change too. Photos allowed without flash. The toilets are special and worth a look 🫣

Small, but very good museum with free entrance (you can donate money at the exit). They different art covered contemporary themes like diversity in cultures, black lives matters, deep fake videos, and Women Power. The way the museum was organised gave enough space for each piece of art. The information you could read about every object was very good. You'll have enough time if you have 1 hour for a visit. 4.5/5.0

Amazing collection. Unfortunately free entrance attracts teenagers who‘d like to selfy and bothering others. Employees made everything fine to improve the situation though.

When you travel to a so called developed country and visit the capital, you expect touristy places to be organized! We travelled all the way from other side of the town just to see this museum and we fond ourselves behind closed doors. It was 02-Jan-2024 a “working day”. Unfortunately you can’t rely on their website or this page on google maps cause they’re very irresponsible and do not respect people’s time!

One of the best free museums in Berlin. Fascinating displays in the museum. Afterwards you can do a guided tour or use the map on their website to find more street art in the surrounding streets. Super cool!

Love it! Contemporary art from international artists. The art works are inspiring with great description which makes you reflect on politics/society/environment/technology etc. nowadays. Definitely a must visit in Berlin! And its free!

I really enjoy the collection that Urban Nation gallery offers. The gallery is admission free. You can donate money to support the gallery if you want. It is located between U Bahnhof Nollendorfplatz und Bülowstraße. It is very easy to spot the building because the building itself is painted as art. Their collection is from all over the world, for people who like art, this is a place you shouldn't miss.

Really cool streetArt Museum you should definitely put on your list of places to visit in Berlin. And it’s free! I’ve already been about five years ago but this time they had all new artwork so it’s worth visiting over and over again.

Excellent museum for street art with purpose, focusing on creating discussion. This is a real gem for those open minded people who care about sensitive topics. Very creatively and cleverly presented - would recommend to some of my friends and I would definitely return. It was great for my eight year old (who is just starting to become politically aware), but not a place for young children or those who are afraid of hard truths.

Nice small gallery down in Nollendorplatz U. Despite a small compact size it's got quite great collection packed in. A great kudos and channel to street artists as well, which is nice. Tend to appeal to younger crowds. Best feature: Free Entrance!

First of all, entrance was free so price/quality is very good haha. While I enjoyed the collection they had, I could not shake the feeling that graffiti, by its very nature, does not belong in a gallery. It is not the type of art that comes across as intended when viewed as photos nicely hanging in a row. This is a very personal thing, I believe, but for me I just couldn't connect with the art here in the way I felt a viewer of this type of art is supposed to.

(Translated by Google) Great museum, which makes it clear that urban art and street art have nothing to do with what you unfortunately find too often on German train wagons or house walls. There are diverse works that stimulate the imagination and are artistically implemented at a high level. And there is not even an admission charge - a voluntary donation is more than justified.

Awesome museum. The pics convey such a deep meaning on various things we face in today's society. You get to write about issues faced in today and they'll try converting it to a picture. I'd say hands down and salute to them for this idea. Truly lives up-to 'A picture can speak 1000 words' in every sense.

I love urban nation. This little museum is a great example for street art. The entrance is for free. Just explore the detailed rooms. I already visited for the second time and it won’t be the last. Also have a check into the restroom. As usual for urban nation Museum’s it’s designed in an interesting way.

My first contemporary art museum. I was pleasantly surprised. The artworks and installations are super intriguing and explained in great detail next to it. Washrooms do not look like usual ones. Make sure to check them out. No entry fees and no wait time either.

This place was astounding. First of all its FREE, but after you go in you'll definitely be willing to make a donation. They showcase tremendous talent in this building. If you've never done any street art of graffiti before, take a marker for the bathroom (shhhh) (jk it's okay to tag the bathroom) The workers also found my gopro that I left in above mentioned bathroom and they stayed late to wait for me...good people. Check this place out, enjoy the work, donate.

The street art vibe is already rushing through the neighbourhood. The building itself already stands out for its arquitecture. Insside the atmosphere is awesome: creative, colourful, alive. It is a great stop for those who like street/urban art to enjoy an hour or so through its 2 floors of exhibits. Spoiler alert: The toilet is an exhibit itself!

A free and nice museum for Street Art, Graffiti and Urban Contemporary. Despite the apparently contradiction of display street art in a museum, it is more than that and I think that this challenges it to make things interesting there. The space is not so big, so you can enjoy it even with you don't have so much time. It's supported by donation.

  • 5/5 Ashley P. 1 year ago on Google
