My niece was entertained for about two hours here, which at four years old is hard to do. Amazing activities for all ages. Worth the trip.

Excellent science centre. Just two drawbacks: 1) the entrance fee of 9eur is steep! 2) It comes with quite a strange annotation that the cashier mentioned that she is only acting under orders (in German: "Ich führe nur Befehle aus!"). That sounds rather like from a past time.. and I actually would prefer not to hear that form a cashier at such a (nice) science centre.

We went as a family outing on Sunday. We were there for 2.5 hours (not nearly long enough) and were amazed at what we saw and heard. If you like science and math this is a very cool place to go. Our family of 4 paid €18 to enter (absolutely a fair price). We can highly recommend this place.

Great place to go even for English speakers, almost everything is explained on the bi-lingual signage. Great fun for all ages, and not expensive. Coffee is even good in the shop.

The Mathematikum was awesome. There is so much to see, learn and try out. And there is such a huge selection of experiments to try that everyone finds something they like. Our seven year old had huge fun. We tried out lots of the things and 4 hours was a bit tight for a visit. Make sure to bring lots of time. Also check all level as it is literally packed from top to bottom. Full recommendation.

Very nice idea to present small experiments to young boys and girls. The museum is in a 3-story building, with many experiments and challenges the youngs can do on their own. It's definitely worth of a visit, which takes 2/2.5 hours at least to be completed.

Great and very interesting museum! A lot of space, and great exhibition. I like it even more than same museums in Frankfurt.

Fun experience with a lot of expositions, but a lot of the explanations were only in German, while the website said there would be English translations aswell... Also the mathematic principles and formula's behind some of the expositions weren't explained at all. Which makes the museum less suited for adults or people looking to learn more about maths. For kids It would be pretty nice

Must-Do for anyone even remotely curious about science in general. Over 150 hands-on experiments for all ages, plus a shop & café. All experiments also come with English descriptions. Highly recommended.

If you have kids and it is a rainy day, this is where you should entertain you family. This is for old and young. To experience and see everything you will need a lot of time and patience. The entrance fee is reasonable for what is presented. Try everything and try to figure out the given problems . There is a small coffee shop and prices are really a bit stiff for the availability of goodies.

You can't find a better place to learn the elementary math and not only, observing the theory transposed in practical, real applications! You can easily spend from one up to four hours or more, enjoying the experiences, learning and playing the same time, irrespective of your age.

This place is simply amazing! Really cool stuff about math, that you can do and enjoy yourself like a 5-years old.

Great place with mathematical experiments to see, touch and play. Specially for children and families. It has a coffee and a shop.
