I arrived in Berlin yesterday after an 11 hour flight. Came straight to the David Hasselhoff museum, and have been here ever since. It's open 24 hours, so I don't see any reason to leave until I fly out tomorrow. I mean, why would anyone ever want to leave the shrine to the greatest man who ever lived? Who brought #freedom to the world? Besides, should you need them, there is a café on the G floor, and a toilet on the 1st.

I was honored for my family to see the important sites of Berlin today..but we wrapped up with a true cultural treasure find. We are among the lucky few to experience the David Hasselhoff Museum in Berlin. This gallery houses the spirit of the Cold War Victory in brilliant symbolism. With deft acknowledgement of the underground efforts by those in Eastern Berlin, the museum is cleverly placed in the basement of a youth hostile just left of the Water Closets. The icons of The Hoff's dacaded of Hollywood gold are cleverly contained in a 6 foot by 6 foot room in the spirit of German understated style. Building like a crescendo, the performer's career blossums into the fateful New Year's concert at the Wall in 1989 where a man, with a dream, and a magical piano scarf inspired a subjugated people to rise up for Freedome! My family and I will never forget. THANK YOU Mr. Hasselhoff!

The museum doesn't need any signposts or anything like that. Real fans will find it! Truly one of the best museums I have ever visited. There was no queue, the exhibition was clear and what was there was definitely worth a visit. Definitely a highlight of every Berlin trip. Just the fact that Hoff himself visited this place makes it clear that this man is definitely a little different than other stars ;)

It is not a museum itself, it is a hallway in the -1 of the hotel and geatuito, curious.

Located in the basement of the Circus Hostel, down the stairs to the left of the reception desk. It’s a single room, which you can see in 5 minutes. A funny joke, but a nod to how much David Hasselhoff means to Germans and Berliners in particular.

Okay, first off, this place is tiny! It's more a shrine than a museum. With that out of the way, I loved it and thought it was well worth the trip! It's a small installation of some memorabilia, pictures, and a few signatures, but it's well presented and a fun little gem inside a hostel.

One of the world's most underrated museums. I'll die happy knowing I've ticked it off the list. A defining moment in my life.

Had a wonderful time at the Hasselhoff Museum! Our guide, Brenton, was very informative and was happy to answer all of our questions. I knew that Mr Hasselhoff was not only a star but a philanthropist, however, I did not have any comprehension of the extent of his positive influence on not only the reunification of Berlin but the world.

When I descended the hostel stairs and turned the corner, locking eyes with the mural of the big Hoff himself I felt a cool rush shoot down my spine. I felt alive. This museum permanently altered my brain chemistry, and I am better for it. Thank you David

It’s hard to describe exactly how special the David Hasselhoff Museum is. It’s an absolute must-see. When your eyes meet mural David’s, you feel yourself nearly overwhelmed by the beauty, the magnificence, the peace, the love. I only wish it had merch. Do not pass up the opportunity to witness the David Hasselhoff Museum.

I agree with the others that it’s more of a shrine than a museum—it’s only one small room. But it’s very cute and funny. This place is also on the Atlas Obscura.

The Hoff is one of the wonders of the world. A worthy tribute to the man (god?) who sat in a self driving crime fighting car. While K.I.T.T. was a beautiful vehicle, the Hoff added needed panache to that 80s crime fighting narrative. Rename the Straße!!

Absolutely breathtaking. A must see in Berlin! You haven't experienced the city without an in depth tour. A riveting show that left us gasping. Be sure to set aside some quality time to take it all in. I had the lamb.

After a long search we found the David Hasselhoff museum in the Circus Hostel, hardly a museum but a corridor in the basement! Nevertheless we had a good laugh & enjoyed the moment David Hasselhoff met Pamela Anderton.....ME 😄

I was so overwhelmed I needed to sit down afterwards. The David Hasselhoff CD and Knight Rider DVD boxset were particularly evocative. I think the long-term legacy of my visit is that I will devote the rest of my life to ending war, poverty and famine. We must preserve these artifacts for the benefit of future generations.

Mystical experience- some say simply glancing at Hasselhoffs beautiful pecs can cure all types of diseases. I came in a leper whos marriage and body were falling apart and left cured. I no longer have to walk around wrapped in bandages and my wife and mehave fixed my marriage our on or way to having our seventh baby. I think I will name him David :)

The best value museum in Berlin! Your Hoff will be Hasseled from start to finish. I recommend basking in the experience afterglow and discussing what you’ve just seen (because let’s be honest, there’s a lot to discuss...see photo)by drinking a beer or boozy milk next door at the Circus Hostel bar afterwards.

This is the must see when you are Berlin. Definitely worth the visit, awesome place and great tribute to David. And it's free and open from 6 am til midnight. It might be hard to find but you can do it! There is a nice bar and cafe near by so you can just keep coming back and enjoy more time with David.

We made the trip to see this museum and what can I say, it was beyond our expectations. Be careful, it's quite intense. We felt very tired after this emotional visit. What a shame there is no souvenir shop on the way out!

It is an amazing tribute to the hero of the 80s. You need to have seen it. Not too big so expect a quick visit, but worthwhile. My only suggestion would be to add some sound, especially when you enter there is room to improve the experience.

Forget the Berlin Wall. Forget checkpoint Charlie. Forget all of that. It doesn’t matter. Only this matters. A real palace of fascinating historical artefacts from the greatest human that ever lived. The photos really don’t do it justice, this place is huge! Wall to wall tapestries detailing how The Hoff single handedly destroyed communism and liberated Berlin, and a 1000 decorative baywatch vases litter the halls. David Hasselhoff himself jumped out from behind a scale model of the car from knightrider and signed my face. It is the ONLY reason to visit Berlin.

Okay, so let's be clear, it is the smallest "museum", you can imagine, it is simply a basement section, around 4 meters long, with some pictures and other items. It is under the Circus hostel, they are friendly and show you the way, even warned me to do not set my expectations high :) Still, it is fun, free and a good thing to see when you are around. The hostel has a small brewery, too, so you can have a nice beer after this visit.

Finally, a museum that corrects some of the misinformation about the fall of the Berlin Wall, and recognises the crucial role played by the Hoff.

An absolute “must” for fans. In a fairly small format you get a huge load of Hasselhoff. It's not particularly big, so you only have to plan for a shorter period of time, which is all the more practical for a city tour.

(Translated by Google) We initially had a few small issues finding the David Hasselhoff Museum - so for those who may be, it may well be the same: it's in the basement of the Circus hostel and there's no sign out there pointing to it. Being That being said, even though the museum is relatively small and "more of a shrine" [to quote the lady at the desk], it's definitely worth a visit for its wonderful strangeness! You do not have to spend a lot of time and you can just jump in if you are curious. Boredom does not occur in this museum - so we highly recommend it!
