If you’ve seen the film “Conspiracy” starring Kenneth Branagh, then this house is a must-see! Aside from that, it’s off the beaten path, but easy enough to get to by train from Berlin. There’s a bus that shuttles from the station to the house every fifteen minutes or so, I’d highly recommend taking it. You can expect to spend about an hour here. Easy enough to make it a stop on your way to Potsdam.

I gave it 2 start - why? One star for seeing cat & another star for meeting such a cute ducks I think this place should buried to the ground... I don't understand why they plant flowers... Paint walls...

Where the Nazi regime officially made The Final Solution government policy. All the documents and minutes of the meeting are on display, along with illustrations of the bureaucratic structures. Serves to remind how easy for people and institutions in positions of the highest responsibility for others can implement and implicate themselves out of their own choice in the most inhuman courses imaginable to humanity. Admission is free, and the picturesque villa and the scenic surroundings of Lake Wannsee contrast greatly against the crime that was perpetrated there. The conference took place on January 20th 1942; I visited the House of the Wannsee Conference exactly 75 years to the day.

This place is where I was very much able to appreciate the talent of German documentation! The display was well explained and very well organised. One can use the free show (which we were told was more updated compared to their audioguide) and was it well made! The stories of the Jewish victims will surely give one the chills. I would surely like to know more such displays to understand the psyche of the perpetrators and the plight of the victims. Must visit! The staff deserves a shout-out for being great hosts!

This was a really great little preservation museum. It's incredibly difficult to make an engaging museum or if entirely text and no physical non-document material, but they did a good job. The main exhibition was very good, and the design was clever and we'll executed, particularly the room in which the conference was actually held. The gorgeous scenery of Wansee doesn't detract from the intensity of the history there, in fact, it almost makes it more real, seeing how beautiful the town and views are. Of course this is where such high ranking officials would meet. In addition, the temporary exhibition on rescued library materials in the upstairs was very nice. I didn't have the time or inclination to do any reading it research in the library upstairs, but it all seemed accessible and well preserved. It's odd to rate such things, but for a small museum preserving the memory of one monumental event, you couldn't do much better.

I’ve been to a number of camps and prisons and this was one of the most “punch in the gut” places in this genre. The beauty of Wannsee - the lake, surrounds and the house - and the horror of what took place within these walls. It is a place not just for history but a timely reminder of how racism and outrageous politics continue to cause harm.

House of the Wansee Conference travels visitors back to the 20th century and lets them see a small part of what was going on in the political elite of the Germany during WW2. Thus, it is quite interesting historical site. Keep in mind that it is open only from 10am to 6pm.

(Translated by Google) Highly Recommended! Also with a guide. The topic "Wannsee Conference" is conveyed in a great way and there is also the opportunity to enter into dialogue. The memorial itself is very informative and you get a lot of information about the perpetrators. In the beautiful outdoor area you can let the topic sink in again. If you want to deepen the knowledge you have, you have the opportunity to acquire the relevant specialist literature in the very well-stocked shop. Questions are answered competently by the very likeable memorial team. (Original) Absolut empfehlenswert!

(Translated by Google) Excellent exhibition. Great building, beautiful garden and fantastic view of the Wannsee. Free admission, e.g. Currently limited to 25 (or 30?) People in the building. The best thing was the charming briefing at the beginning (I was lucky enough to have a one-on-one tour) by a knowledgeable, attractive young woman from Colombia. That alone was worth it. Thank you very much. (Original) Hervorragende Ausstellung. Zutritt frei, z. Zt auf 25 (oder 30 ?) Das allein war es wert. Dankeschön.

A most remarkable place to visit that tells the story of a passage of history that must never be forgotten and not be allowed to be repeated. It remains a concept of the utmost difficulty to conceive, that fifteen men could get together for a meeting the outcome of which was the "final solution". Our visit was made all the more poignant by a missed phone call I had during our visit: it was from a friend, a gentleman in his 90s who left Vienna in the late 1930's on the kindertransport.

This place is beautiful. The structure, the garden, everything is jst beautiful. However, the exhibit is a bit sad but it's a good way to learn about history unfiltered.

The place is almost completely void of any contemporary interior. That leaves a lot of room for an intense exhibition about what actually was set in motion then, its prologue and how almost every participant got away with little to no consequences whatsoever.

We were in Wannsee for a birthday to look at boats and found this along the way. We always take the time to learn about this part of history and found this museum to be so worthwhile. Good COVID care with only 20 at a time and gloves provided so you can still use the audiovisual displays. Such a terrible story in such a wonderful setting, could it be any more heartbreaking? Very clear contextual presentation of the Conferenz event but also the history of the house beyond that one meeting. Lovely staff. This memory will stay with me for ever.

(Translated by Google) Your blood freezes in the face of the human crime committed here. It makes a difference whether you know it from television or whether you are at the original crime scene. The exhibition comes across as a bit dusty but the topic is simply not suitable for "performance" and colorful presentation gadgets. It is quiet and the visitors speak muffled. In glass showcases you can see the original documents of completely dehumanized bureaucrats such as Eichmann, Heydrich and Freisler. There are also film and audio clips. You should plan for 2 hours and come back if necessary. The discrepancy between the beautiful old villa on Wannsee - right across from the lido - and the one where it stands historically could hardly be greater. A must for school classes and citizens interested in history!
