One of the highlights of my trip to Germany was the visit to Botanika on the second day. We spent hours here experiencing the fauna and flora and made use of all the information around the venue. We found the staff were especially helpful with recommendations on what to pay attention to and how to best navigate around the different biomes.

Rhododendron Park in Bremen, not only Rhododendrons though, there's more to see. At the moment, the Azaleas are spectacular. No matter what the season, there's always something to view, and enjoy the walk through the park. The indoor Botanic is a must.

I'm an amazing place to be especially during a warm sunny day! It's rich in species and there is always something blooming! The info panels cover plants (of course haha), insects and birds, with common German names and Latin names. The informations are only in German, but very accessible and attractive to non-scientists of all ages.

It's always nice to visit this place specially when the sun is shining bright, simply because it's a good getaway from the busy fast life into the serenity of nature, calm and blissful. Strongly recommended if you are in Bremen.

Nice place to go if you like butterflies and pretty flowers. Entrance fee was a bit high though. Expect an exhibition suitable and tailored for children.

Beautiful place. We visited it in February, but i am sure in summer there is much more color around.

Great place to spent a day or an afternoon with the family. Lots of different plants and even some animals. There is a great science center where kids & adults can explore nature. The restaurant is good for a quick bite before or after the Botanika visit!

Fantastic exhibition. Kids loved the butterfly area, the passport stamp hunt and also the explorer area where many nature phenomenal are explained in both German and English.

We visited this place on the weekend. It is really a beautiful garden in Bremen. A must visit place, specially in Summer. There are lots variety of flowers and trees. There is also a nearby Caffeteria where you can just sit, drink coffee and relax. Experience a different ambience of nature within the City.

A special experience and very friendly staff. There are rare varieties of tropical moss. I wish I could buy some of them. We will repeat the experience again, my son and I

Cute small botanical garden, I enjoyed my visit there, but the entrance price is way too high. I visited more impressive botanical gardens in Europe and tickets were half as expensive. That's why only 3 stars

Its a nice place to go see a few plants, but sadly they werent really nice and we didnt see a lot of butterlies. I really liked the idea of having a passport where you can make stamps of where you have been in the garden, but the stamps sadly didnt work really well. The monkeys were cute tho.

Many species of trees which you can see from different parts of the world. The monkeys were the main entertainment. You can also put stamps on your "passport" from the places you've visited in the garden. It is also kids friendly because there are some experiments that they can try so they can understand better the nature and how it functions.

(Update)Highligh: go there in time to feed the Koi!!! !Much better. I was here some 4 years ago and the greenhouse was closed.. it felt too small for the price but now I think it's cheaper and those areas are open and the smelling stuff in the Entdeckerzentrum are working (unlike four years ago)

My Aunts got married in the Schmitterlings Haus (Butterfly House) of the Botanika. It was a really beautiful place though small. I would have preferred to spend more time inside with the butterflies, which there were a lot of, just flying around. It was the stuff of fairytales: to have butterflies flying around you. We had drinks from the restaurant still in the Botanika but outside the Butterfly house. The staff were very friendly, open and accomodating. Made the whole experience even better. I would love to go back and see more of the Botanika as I'm pretty sure it won't disappoint.

For me the most fascinating thing in this botanic garden was opportunity to feed Koi fishes. They are a lot of fun, not afraid of human, bite in the fingers and eat from the hand. I believe there are special hours to feed the koi fish, so better check ahead. The butterfly house is also quite impressive with a massive amount of butterflies! Rather than that, it is quite small botanic garden.
