Purple dreams in real life 💜 Such a romantic place to be, I have to bring my future boy friend there again, we walked all the way to the top mountain took us 2 hours but totally worth it! Also bought the heide honig, they also sell blueberry honig!

Beautiful nature park with lots of hiking trails. Peaceful and quiet as well. We did the 10km trail. Beautiful landscape along the way. Would definitely be back for the full bloom heather and also to hike other trails.

Such a beautiful place to go for a hike especially in mid-August while the whole heath starts blossoming. I suggest starting your hike early in the morning especially if the weather is hot or very sunny. The heath has a dry nature and you can find it rather difficult to stay energetic if the sun is blazing. Also in the morning time you’ll have a beautiful breeze mostly and some soft warm sunlight which makes the whole place appear like a paradise. There are hundreds of different trails and when you arrive here on the right time, you’ll see the whole heath blossoming in pink. Lots of birds, and wild life around which you should respect. It doesn’t get more beautiful than this if you’re in Germany and want to enjoy the nature.

The blossoms show their full pride in August/Seotember! Great for biking and hiking combined with good food from the local farmers. Have a chat with the nice shepherds and whatch their amazing smart dogs.

For me, a hitherto unfamiliar environment. A wonderfully hospitable place for walking and cycling while enjoying a beautiful piece of nature. 👍

Beautiful landscape between Lüneburg and Celle, worth a visit anytime of the year. Especially pretty during late summer when the colours can be spectacular. The Wilseder Berg is the highest point and offers great views.

It's a really great place to go hiking. As i've read on the site (see below) you have different area's where you can start hiking. For me i started at the parking in "Niederhaverbeck visitor parking lot: directly on the L121, Niederhaverbeck 14, 29646 Niederhaverbeck." Here you also have a map on site where you can find a hike of about 3 hours and a half (see pictures). I went there in november at around 14:30-15:00 and started the hike to "Wilseder Berg". This was a great time to come because the sun was low and the views you had were amazing. Also if you want to have a nice view of the sunset then it's only about 4,5km walking (45-60min) to the highest spot of the trail. So you can just go and see the sunset and drive back home if that's something you find more appealing. I have no clue what the people mean with buying a ticket before you enter. I think this mqybe applies for more busy times because i didn't have to pay anything just to enter the hiking trails. Very beautiful place. Most of people use e-bike here. It will be quite challenging for someone who come drive non e-bike. The road is a bit sandy.

Great place for relaxing, hiking and an outing with a family. Do visit this place in Summers. Not sure how it is going to be during autumn Winters. Hotels are really expensive in this area though.

Great views and nice hiking trails. Wilsberg is a little bit crowded, but you have a great view.
