The warm shredded duckless hoi sin wrap accompanied with the slaw, phenomenal flavours. The chips were fresh, unique taste, not soggy. The smoothie...yes, literally called ‘The Smoothie,’ was refreshing to drink on the side. Really friendly staff. I just pray this place doesn’t disappear! Yummy meat and dairy free cafe style restaurant offering a variety of main meals, snacks, drinks and cakes etc. I had the Linda burger with fried and homemade garlic mayo and it was delish! Very friendly owners. (Only open Weds to Sunday)

WOW!! This place is amazing!! The decoration is extremely beautiful, homely and cozy. The owner is an absolute sweetheart and the food is just: wow!! Went with my wife and must be honest, the best vegan Tofu wrap I've ever had. Fresh & tasty and decently priced too. Sweetcorn with spice was amazing. We didn't have to wait very long for our meal & he was friendly to chat too. We'll definitely be going back soon.

Nice meal, well priced. Only open 2 weeks, they say they have plans to increase menu and take card payments. Owners very friendly and accommodating. Special toasted sandwich is spot on. Great food, even my meat eating friends don't mind going here! Loads of options so you can be as healthy or naughty as you fancy! Great location, so close to the beautiful creative quarter. All the team were really kind and made sure we were well looked after. Outdoor seating is a huge bonus if you like people watching!!

The lovely guys at PEK have an extensive cruelty-free menu of delicious and inventive food choices. Their food is always good value for money, carefully prepared and served with a smile. They take card payments or cash. I have no hesitation in giving them my highest recommendation. X

What a wonderful quirky fun, inviting place to visit!! Wonderful staff, lovely subtle music the best latte ever. We are currently walking the whole UK coast path for charities mind and children in need and when we passed through folkestone we were gifted a meal here.. THANKS SO MUCH Lorraine Glenn and hostess Holly. The food was incredibly tasty and fresh, very healthy meal to get us on our way. Fully recommend to anyone in the area .pop in guys you won't be disappointed😍

Had Lolly’s Toastie and it was really gorgeously amazing, the coleslaw lovely too. I can’t describe how lovely it was and as a Marmite lover it made my day. Really friendly and welcoming place.

Now in Rendezvous Street. I had the very delicious herb burger, with chips and homemade vegan mayonnaise, followed by excellent chocolate orange cake. Highly recommended!

Rude staff! KEEP AWAY I’m allergic to soya and mushroom, when I was in and looking at menu, things i could eat sold that looked tasty sold out, so we walked away and thanked them. The immature person who was waiting to serve us, said “oh the magic V word is it?” I obviously put her straight and said I’m actually allergic to soya and mushrooms… but how darn rude! Good vegan food and judging by how many other customers were there popular with non vegans as well. Either that or someone fed us after midnight or spilled water on us. Had the big boy burger and chips- hits the junk food craving just right!

Was hungry and pulled up to your food van before i realised it was all plant based. Decided to give it a go anyway eventhough i am normally a big meat eater. I ordered the chili dog and and i dont know what the sausage was made of but it tasted amazing, the bread was lovely and the beans and fried onions were perfect too. Looking forward to trying the other items on your menu

Best place to eat in Folkestone whether you are vegan or not. Today was the second time I have eaten at Planet Earth Kitchen and once again, I was not disappointed! The food is incredible with such a great variety and fairly priced and the staff are super friendly and so helpful! This is a real gem of a place. If you are just after coffee and a slice of cake or something a bit more substantial, Planet Earth Kitchen is the place to go!

Great food experience and good pricing. ordered the bad boy burger and actualy didn't realise it was plant based till we had finished and were commenting on how good the burger was. seriously the best plant based food I have eaten (even if by mistake) !

So good you wouldn't be able to tell the food was vegan. This restaurant totally redefines the thinking about boring vegan food with delicious food and great service all in a cute and comfy setting. I definitely recommend going here.

Popped in for lunch on Sunday and had such delicious food, I had the meatballs & my wife the Hoi-sin, both were so tasty & full of flavour. I also recommend the smoothie with seeds. Yum! We tried to go back on Monday for breakfast but it was busy & we were constrained by time! I should also mention that the staff were very friendly & helpful. We will be back next time we're in town.

Imagine calling yourself a restaurant and serving Linda McCartneys products as yours. £10 for a burger that was £1 in Sainsbury’s is really great deal. I guess if you’re lazy and don’t want to cook, this will do.

Forget that its vegan its the best cafe in folkestone no matter what you eat. Breakfasts lunches and cakes are all amazing all served by an awesome family. A true folkestone Gem.

Had a delivery during lockdown. The chilli burger was amazing and actually had a level of chilli you would expect. Fries were crispy and the side salad a little small was dressed well. The whole families meals were devoured with equal delight. Thank you and we will be coming in as soon as safe to do but will definitely have another takeaway 😋 thank you❤️

Amazing vegan place with large local following.

First and foremost; the staffing. A friendly and hospitable welcome, by whom I presume was the owners and one other younger staff member. Very inviting and casual, made me feel at ease and relaxed, just what you want before sitting down to chow through your own body weight of delicious vegan food. Speaking of which, the entire menu is vegan, which straight off the bat made things far easier for me and my partner (who are both on plant based diets) - no sifting through the menu 1,000x to whittle out the good stuff; because it's ALL GOOD STUFF! Meaning you don't have to avoid the cheese and mayo options, as they're alternative plant based variants; just go for it! The pricing is, fair and for the best part good value. I appreciate that sourcing nutritious, sustainably sourced and tasty vegan food can be arduous and expensive, so no real qualms there. No mocha on the menu, but not to fret... They made one up anyway with a little improvisation and charged me the same for a regular coffee - most appreciated! The rest of the menu is made up of what you'd typically expect from any cafe/diner: - all variation of burgers, salads, baked potatoes, pasta dishes and other delectible, classic meals. The decor around the cafe is brilliant, most of which I'd happily take home with me, should they have had a price tag on! Light, airy and full of colour, the upstairs seating arrangement is intimate, but in a nice cosy sense. We got very lucky with our timing/seating, but even on a busy weekend when every seat was full, it had the perfect balance of a typial cafe hubbub and an upmarket eatery. The kitchen it'self is open plan and it's refreshing to eat somewhere where the food preparation and cooking is so transparent, again very comforting. So all in all, yes I'd most definitely recommend; just remember to wear some stretchy trousers... Or be prepared to notch that belt off a couple of holes! Big thanks to the creators/owners/servers/chefs for adding another favourite eatery to the list!
