I was extremely impressed by their food especially their desserts. I would go back there just for their desserts alone. I really like the fact that they do not make their cakes/brownies too sweet either. Five stars!

Restaurants like this make me proud to be a vegan! Great nuggets and burgers. Food was fresh and loved the ambiance! And don’t forget the great sweets!

I absolutely love this place! There food is so delicious and everyone that works the is very friendly! The food is so good that you have to fight the urge to lick the plate 🤣 The best part is that everything is vegan so you don't have to ask about ingredients or possibilities of cross contamination! I brought my mother (who isn't vegan and only likes a few vegan foods so far) and she absolutely loved it! She finished her food before me (which has never happened with any meal before) and even wanted cake to take home with her! According to my mother this good is so good and on point that if she wasn't told it was vegan she wouldn't have known! I'm not going to lie though they are a bit pricey so I only go once a month, but it is well worth it!

Great service, vibes, and food portions. The food was amazing, especially the club and Route 66 burger.Their dessert selection was great. We had the Oreo brownie, confetti cake (the slice is huge! Two can probably share.), banana bread, and chocolate cupcake. There is outdoor and indoor seating and free Wi-Fi. My brother is non-vegan and really enjoyed the food as well, but he did say that the Reuben he ordered wasn’t as good as the club and Route 66 burger.

Came here for breakfast over the weekend. I got the French toast deluxe. I didn’t find the actual piece of the French toast to be sweet but all the fixings made it sweet. It was really good. The whipped cream was sooooo good. The food did take a while to come but they were pretty busy.

I wanted to try a different dish and the cashier recommended the wild cat burger (gluten free options, as I selected) and it was a great choice! She has a lovely personality and great customer service! Made this stop, memorable.. had to top it off with a chocolate oatmeal cookie (G-F) 💫

This holiday dinner was exactly what I needed when out of town for Christmas Eve without family support. I felt the love, care, and attention to detail in this dinner that made me feel love when I was not in a good headspace. There's no words for how I felt when they brought this heaping plate. The staff were so kind and welcoming. The gravy, mashed potatoes, handmade cranberry sauce .. I couldn't ask for a better meal to be served on a day that's often hard for me. Thank you 🥺🥰❤️😭

Lovin' Spoonfuls is a vegan restaurant with comfort food options. My friend loves their fried mushrooms and the small turkey dinner plate (which is a big portion for being the small size). I tried the sweet and sour chicken sandwich (not meat), and it was really good and filling but not heavy. The menu can be confusing as you see regular meat names in some spots, but it is all vegan.

Fantastic vegan food with generous portions. The breading on the mock chicken and cauliflower is crispy and damn near perfect. I really enjoyed the buffalo cauliflower.

This restaurant has all of the things that you would want from a diner type location, but vegan. It was delicious! I had the falafel sandwich and my carnivore-loving friend had the special of the day (advertised on Instagram) “carne asasa” burrito and he even liked it. We took our food to go but there was plenty of seating on a Saturday afternoon and the staff were incredibly kind and next time I would plan to eat there.

Dined here with 2 adults and 1 kid and all four of us loved the cozy ambiance and delicious food. The fried chicken was perfection with a crispy breading and chickeny texture, plus it came with generous veggies, mashed potatoes AND STUFFING! I wish we tried the desserts and allowed ourselves enough time to stay to play a round of Sorry! or ConnectFour.

So good we ate here twice in a week. Nestled in a small shopping complex in Tucson, you have to try this place out. The menu is large, so you can surely find whatever you’re looking for as long as it’s vegan. The southwest breakfast burrito and the Philly cheesesteak are great choices.

I found my two visits confusing. So the first time we came we had full table service after ordering our meal. Both dishes were wonderful. It definitely set a certain expectation for my next visit where the staff was really struggling. I get it, it gets busy, but I'd rather y'all stick to self serve beverages just to set a more realistic expectation to how this place operates. I had to pour my own coffee and then ask the staff directly for creamer. The food was significantly worse quality. My Reuben was a soggy, kraut forward, sour mess. Definitely the worst tempeh Reuben I've had - and I've had many. Both my wife and my dishes were accompanied with Frito-Lay chips... I mean the product doesn't have animal based ingredients, but they are NOT friendly to veganism and are about as anti-vegan as you get. If this restaurant wants to make an impact, ceasing the use of Frito lay products is essential to the preservation of our planet. All in all, good but could definitely be more consistent.

We stopped here along our drive across country for lunch. It was quite difficult to find good vegetarian and vegan places and this one did not disappoint! I had the Black Beans and Corn Rice Bowl and it was outstanding. Hubby had the Philly Cheesestake and he was quite pleased as well. Staff was so nice and helpful when I called in to place the order. Highly recommend!

I'm in Tucson for work and stopped here for dinner. I wanted to try the chili, but also wanted to try the chicken. So I decided to take the chili back for lunch the following day. Oh, and I also got a side salad and corn bread. It was actually a lot more food than I expected! This will be at least 3 meals. But I have to say, it is delicious! The 'chicken' came with gravy, stuffing, and veggies. It's been so long (~30 years) since I've had a home style-type meal. Yum yum. Service was really good. Staff were nice. I really liked that I could eat outside. The weather was prefect. I recommend you give this restaurant a try.

Classic vegan comfort food in a relaxed setting. I liked that they also have some healthier dishes like a Thai curry. This time I ordered the Tempeh Rueben and it was pretty good, having a good balance between the vegan cheese, tempeh, and sauerkraut. The server was really friendly and accommodating.

Meet my family for a birthday celebration. I am 76 today and since I've started a vegetarian diet, this was the best place to go. I had a Rte 66 burger. It was very good. It was moist and crumbly. An assortment of dishes were ordered by my family: spaghetti and meatballs, chicken bowl and others. My granddaughter didn't care for the spaghetti but everyone else enjoyed their food.

Just arrived from NY looking for the perfect vegan Faire in Tucson and I have found it! The staff are wonderful and the food is out of this world! Went for brunch with my son and we loved it. Also ordered the most gorgeous and delicious cake for his birthday. I highly recommend this place. We will definitely be coming here regularly

I love it here. The service is great and quite pleasant. I feel at home here. I have a friend that I meet here at least 2x a month and we eat, visit, and eat some more. It is very relaxing. No one rushes us out (we don’t arrive when it’s busy). The food is wonderful! I enjoy all of the flavors. The cauliflower wings are a favorite. Though, the last few times, I stepped out of my box and ordered the daily special, trying things I normally would not. I’ve not been disappointed. The food is always good. Oh, the chocolate chip cookie is the bomb. My friend and I share one as an appetizer and share a second one at the end of our meal as dessert!!!! Anyone who comes to visit me, gets to dine at Lovin’ Spoonfuls on the way home from or to the airport.

Super huge portions, got the Philly cheesesteaks option, not as great as everyone made it out to me. The vegan meat was too salty and not much flavouring other then roasted/grilled fajita style veggies. Vegan cheddar cheese did not pair well here

I think loving spoonfuls is the premier vegan restaurant in town. The food is always creative and delicious, they offer a few options that don’t feel super vegan which I think makes people interested In trying vegan food a little more comfortable. Only downside is that sometimes the lunch rush can cause a bit of a wait but I think it’s well worth it.

This restaurant is our new favorite place to dine in Tucson! The menu is extensive, the dishes they create are very creative, and the staff is super friendly. On the way out we got a cookie the size of a dinner plate..and it was really good! All in all a great experience.

  • 5/5 Jean M. 2 years ago on Google
I wish I lived in the area so I could come here more often! This is probably the best vegan restaurant I've ever been to. I had the Philly Cheesesteak which was delicious. The portions were huge, enough for plenty of leftovers. And the menu had a great variety, I wanted to get everything! The service was excellent as well! If I ever come back to Tucson I'll be eating here again.

Really good (and big) BBQ Chicken Sandwich! Great crisp on the outside of the "chicken", good interior texture, good flavor, great bun... I want to try more of their stuff after this!

  • 5/5 Mike W. 2 years ago on Google
Great food! Had the nut loaf dinner, wife had the Mediterranean plate, and we shared spring rolls appetizer. We didn't eat inside but it looked clean and well decorated, service was friendly and quick. I will say they did make a mistake and give me an oatmeal cream cookie pie instead of a pastry that I ordered but we didn't realize until we were too far away to come back. The delicious food made up for the mistake though and the oatmeal dessert was delicious! Highly recommended!!!

First time there today. Arrived around 11am for breakfast so it wasn't busy. Met Maddie and was very helpful. Ended up getting the french toast and the tofu scrambled. Both were delicious 😋. Before we left we took some pumpkin pie and chocolate peanut butter cake, so yummy! If you are in the neighborhood, make sure to stop by and give them a shot. They have inside and terrasse dine in.

Been here a dozen times now. The cauliflower wings are some of the best I’ve ever had. As well as their shakes 😊 All the food tastes really good. My only gripe is, the amount of processed items on the menu. The soy Chicken Patty’s and their imitation meat is plant based alright.. made in a chemical plant. I opt for the Andzuki patty. It’s made in house from grains and nuts.

Really enjoyed the Thanksgiving dinner! I was very impressed with the professionalism of the chefs with all the dishes, as well as the waitstaff. All the dishes complemented each other perfectly. They all had a high vegetable content, which was good for digestion. The portions were excellent, not too much or too little. The amount of food on the plate allowed me to eat a lot and then take some home for later. It was also very affordable. I plan to be there next year! I also wanted to mention that I recently tried the new eggplant parm on the menu. It was fantastic! Cooked to perfection!

I am from out of town and I wish Lovin Spoonfuls was also in CT. I got the fried "chicken" dinner which was worth every penny. The portion was large so I had some leftovers. I couldnt believe how "homemade" everything looked and tasted. The vegetables were fresh and crisp. Then there was the main attraction, the fried vegan chicken patty. It was thick, juicy and so crunchy. This was one of my top 5 meals ever for quality and deliciousness.

  • 5/5 Corey S. 4 years ago on Google
Bread was crunchy on the outside and chewy, large portion of vege chicken. The potato salad was made with red potatoes and wasn’t sweet which is how I like it. Had small amount of carrot and green pepper which made it colorful and good. For dessert I had the Chocolate Churro Cupcake. Churro Frosting was not too sweet and was tasty. The cupcake was dense, not dry, with a rich chocolate flavor. Would rate the cupcake a 10/10. Highly recommend this restaurant. Friendly and fast service.

What happened to the prices and quality of food ? Saddened by my last few visits. Prices have gone up and food quality sadly went down with the new management. I rarely eat here for the above reason. Before the prices have slowly gone up, I would eat here a few times a month.

We've been going to this place for years. Incredible food, incredible service and their constantly rotating sweets are unreal. 100% vegan, 100% amazing. My only wish is that they do so well, that they could open a sister store on the East Side! Its always worth the drive though- go get some vegan comfort food!

Boyfriend and I eat here all the time! Pro tip: check Instagram Stories before going and check out their specials of the day. We love their mac & cheese, fried chicken dinner, chicken nuggets, dolmas, and Route 66 burgers. Romantic place to have a moderate cost dinner for two.

  • 2/5 Kristen M. 6 years ago on Google
So disappointed. All of our entrees were cold in the center. That, plus how quickly everything arrived, leads us to believe they prepare much of their food in advance and reheat it. On top of that, the food did not have much flavor. It looked much better than it tasted. For the prices they charge, this isn't really acceptable. We were so excited to visit, but we had those issues with the food, and none of the employees seemed like they wanted us there. (We were extremely polite and did not come close to closing time or anything like that.) Such a bummer. Maybe it was an off day?

Lovin spoonfuls is my favorite vegan restaurant in Tucson. The best place to eat American vegan dishes with excellent flavor be and portions that are worth the price. They have some of the best vegan chicken dishes anywhere I've eaten. Don't miss it!

We are visiting Tuscon and found this lovely gem of a restaurant, boy were we lucky! The food is done of the best vegan I've ever tasted! The people are friendly, the place is comfortable, but the food is the real star. The hummus plate is something is drive from Maine to get. It's simply the best. The kale salad is fresh and tasty. We'll be back again before we leave Tuscon ?❤️

Been here probably about 7 or 8 times and usually get takeout. Everything I've ordered here is awesome: huge portions and tasty fresh ingredients and the entire menu is vegan so you dont need to worry about animal products that arent mentioned like you might when you order vegan at a typical place. They have a pretty wide variety of vegan versions of different types of cuisines but for me the appetizers and burgers are usually what I go for.

  • 4/5 N H. 4 years ago on Google
Visited from out of state and I had heard great things. I was not disappointed. Food was good portions ok and desserts were the best part, in my opinion. The soup of the day was the same the 2 times I visited. I was hoping theyd switch it up. The soup was good but a little too thick for my liking. Club sandwich was made with store bought vegan deli meats, I think. Which is fine but I could've just made that myself at home. Blueberry pie, cinnamon swirl cake and the cookies were AWESOME. I'll be going back to try more stuff from the menu.

  • 5/5 Dennis V. 5 years ago on Google
One of my favorite spots at the moment. Their fried chicken is probably the closest thing you can get to a real chicken. The texture, taste, and even the way it looked when you sliced it was exactly what a chicken breast looked like. The buffalo Cauliflower was delicious as well. The environment and service was great. Definitely coming back the next time I'm here in Tucson.

Got food to go from here and was excited to try their dinner pasta menu items, but we got there a tad early for that so I went with the rice and bean burrito and a black tie cupcake. I have eaten a lot of vegan burritos and even make good ones myself, but this one still stood out. Very filling with a lot of flavor! The dressing on the side salad surprised me with how delicious it was. Their black tie cupcake was mind blowing and I wish I had gotten more!

  • 5/5 Jenna R. 4 years ago on Google
This place is incredible! I'm allergic to egg and lactose intolerant, so vegan restaurants that are guaranteed to not accidentally use food that make me ill are my favorite. Many vegan restaurants are straight vegetables and salad heavy, which is fine, but I especially like that Lovin Spoonfuls has a huge variety of "vegan comfort food" dishes that are all sorts of things and just happen to be made with vegan ingredients. Plus the food is really amazing. It's not the cheapest place ever, but you generally get what you pay for in quality and amount, so it's not like you're paying a lot for just a tiny bit of food. Most of their dinners are easily two meals for me. If you haven't tried their cakes, whether you're vegan or not you have to try them, because the cakes here are probably the best vegan or non-vegan cake I've ever had. I don't think I ever met an unfriendly worker here, and service is usually pretty fast as well.

As a new vegetarian, working on a healthier diet, I was looking for a healthy lunch. I'm glad I called in an order because the line for a table was out the door. . .literally. the Peking rice smelled great and was equally delicious. I'll definitely eat here again!

They also keep their website well updated and it is simple to use. Below are some of my favorites! Battered mushroom (appetizer), Falafel Burger with potato salad (you can substitute it for fries for $1 more. They are delicious!), and finally Fried Chicken Dinner.

I am writing this review based on the 4 times I have been here. The first two times everything was amazing. Their buffalo cauliflower wings were outstanding. The third time I ate here, the food wasn't great. The veggies tasted as if they were old and I felt sick after eating. However, I gave them another try, and the food was outstanding once more.

Dined at this restaurant with my husband today and had a terrible experience. The wait was long which i didnt mind but the restaurant was pretty much empty with only 3 people dining. Our waitress didnt even check with us once to see if we were doing ok or not. We had empty glasses of water by the end no body even checked on us. This will be our last time visiting this place. Been here before and we had a good exp last time but this time was just bad.
