Fabulous Mediterranean restaurant with healthy delicious food, many vegetarian options such as falafel platters, hummus and salads; meat options as well, such as grilled chicken. The flavours were wonderful. Everything is freshly prepared and not greasy. Prices are comparable to other restaurants for tourists in the area. It is a small sweet restaurant with a cozy clean feel, very friendly service, and uniquely the Israeli/Filipino owners are right there cooking in the kitchen and greeting guests. They are accommodating of special dietary requests such as no gluten, no dairy etc. As someone who is gluten-free and dairy-free, this was a special place to find. Highly recommended. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you for a great dining experience!

A lovely Mediterranean restaurant with surprisingly authentic and flavorful food. The owner and assistant were very friendly. I tried their recommended stuffed chicken plate and it was a very pleasant surprise in terms of how authentic and well balanced the meal was. The chicken was well seasoned, the Greek salad was crisp, and the mashed potatoes were very creamy. Definitely pay Koren's restaurant a visit!

This is the only one Middle East restaurant on island, it’s small and really easy to miss it. The chef 👨‍🍳 looks like a Middle East person. We had 2 lunches here , the beef with rice one is small pieces and one is made to balls are all good, the rice cooked with spices but not too much flavor is really good with the meat. The hummus and eggplant are good with their homemade pita bread 🫓! Especially the hummus you must try! The Turkish salad is based by tomato sauce 🥫 so it’s a bit sour. So does the Shakeshuka. But the later one is hot and I like it. The waitress and chefs asked us about the food for advices. Hope they can make it on the island!

Simple small Mediterranean restaurant. Good falafel, tasty hummus, great Mediterranean salad, good fresh bread. Turkish coffee is nice but not traditional thick style. Owner on site and very friendly staff. Super clean. Reasonable prices. I went 3 times in one week! Great break from the filipino and Korean food that is prevalent there. Home made baklava is fresh, not as sweet as typically found but nice and refreshing with a cup of tea. The shakshuka was nice, not full of salt, very rich tomatoe flavor...served in a hot skillet.

We were roaming around(in what seems Korea, omg) to grab a bite, when this American waved us through the window. I know if customers do this that that is a place you want to try out! Boy were we in for a surprise! Superfriendly waitresses knowing everything about the food and the owners, a very humble Turkish guy and his Philipino partner will serve you a GREAT TASTING mediterranean dish according to HIS mother's homemade recipies with the best of ingredients and flavourings. We had a chicken kebab and a köfte, both on a skewer, with flavoured rice and fries. Some fresh salad on the side. Man, we wished we didnt have the fries. It was a homerun! The american really was glowing with enthousiasm about the hummus. And i know if someone cooks like this going for a babaganoush or the tzatziki is also a feast for the tastebuds. I know this place is one that deserves to stick around! Give this couple's restaurant a try and be positively surprised. We hope they will have a succesfull business amongst all the other. Well deserved. We had a very warm talk with them after our diner, so they are in our hearts. ❤️ Until we meet again. We put up a good picture of their facade because it is easy to overlook. Enter on the side!

This is a gem. If you’re looking for something different in the area and like Mediterranean/ middle eastern style food it’s fantastic. Small but welcoming shop.

The food is absolutely fantastic. The falafel and pita are both homemade and the best I've had outside of the Mediterranean. If you like shakshouka, their green shakshouka is a fun take on the traditional version.

We loved this cozy Mediterranean spot - we loved the falafel, baba ganoush (super fresh!), and stuffed chicken. The chocolate banana muffin for dessert was the icing on the cake! The staff were super friendly, especially the owners. Would highly recommend this charming and delicious local eatery!

The food was very delicious! Hummus with falafel, chicken kebab, and chicken shawarma is highly recommended. I tried the ayran (turkish yogurt drink) and really liked it. A little bit sour and salty taste 😋

Best Mediterranean cuisines you can have in Puerto Galera. The thing that’s exceptional is the magnificent flavors of the food , it’s just not for aesthetic and good photography but the taste and flavors of all the seasonings and ingredients mixed well that makes it flavorful , savory and mind you that all of the food are good for your health , they also serve vegans so if that’s your diet you can definitely enjoy the food. To add up the staffs and the owner are so accommodating and they will not let you feel confused what to order and what to eat. It’s superb , the price is reasonable , the taste of the food is exceptional and healthy and the accommodation is world class. This restaurant is a must try when you visit Puerto Galera. 🤤🫠🎉💚👏

My friend and I came here after a long day of traveling and proceeded to order food enough for 5 people. The food is absolutely phenomenal - we got the shakshouka, chicken plate, hummus, and beef pide! Highly recommend. The owner Nico is also a wonderful man and gave my friend a single falafel - so generous! Best restaurant in Puerto Galera!!!

The best Mediterranean food that I've had in the Philippines. All the dishes we've tried were superb and memorable. We were in Sabang for 3 days and we had dinner there three times. I just can't imagine that there would be a better place to go since I know that when I leave Puerto Galera, I wouldn't be able to find this level of quality in Mediterranean cuisine anywhere in the Philippines. The location is right in the middle of Sabang. The entry is on the lower street beside the main drag. You owe it to yourself to find it and enjoy their wonderful food.

Wow absolutely blown away. We’ve been travelling for over a year and this is one of the best restaurants we’ve stumbled across. Everything was so delicious and the location is great.

Miracles do happen sometimes. When I stepped into this restaurant, I was warmly welcomed by the hostess who runs the place with her Israeli husband of partly Turkish descent. Together, they bring the best of three worlds - the mysterious flavors of Turkey, the tantalizing scents of Israel, and the warm hospitality of the Philippines - resulting in a seductive combination that can be tasted in every bite of their food. I was served a perfectly seasoned grilled chicken skewer with a heavenly salsa made of various vegetables. Along with the flawless and charming manners of the hostess, this makes the restaurant a place you'd want to visit again and again. It's an oasis in the midst of the hustle and bustle of Sabang.

🫤 Wasn't impressed w the meals they were bland, we had pork adobo, caldereta and fish filet. The fish was bleh edible but I wouldn't order it again. The adobo tasted like it was just a gravy packet mix, it was little to no flavor really very bland. The caldereta was fairly good and out of the 3 I woul...

🫤 Although food was good, their services to the costumer were not very good they were not assisting as very well compared to some customer. We saw a cat inside, and one waiter kicked the cat to go away. If you do not feed the animals, at least not hurt them.

👍👍 It's nice to be back in Resto Veranda and as usual.. The food never disappoint me.
