I drove there to inquire and do an ocular of the place for a birthday celebration. The woman at front desk did not take a minute to turn off a potential customer. Place is big a lot of things you can do inside the resort. They just need to improve their food service, it took them more than ab hour to deliver our food and our orders are just mushroom soup, fries and mango shake. Overall it was a nice experience.

Not sure if this place is accessible to public transpo. Has ample parking space if you would charter a bus. Ideal place for team building activities but could get crowded at times. The beachfront has a good view of the sunrise.

We went there yesterday for my Mom's birthday and we were not disappointed. We originally booked a Studio room but when we transferred to the Villa room since it is still available and closest to the pool & beach. The place is great for team building and family get away. I suggest you bring your own pocket wifi or have a load for mobile data. Location: 5/5 Parking: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Staff: 5/5 Rooms: 5/5 Amenities: 5/5 WIFI: 3/5 Beach: 4/5

Took the villa , beach front and close to the pool anf playground. Stayed for 2 nights. Since it is a bit far , not suitable fir overnight stay. Stay longer so you get a better experience. Black sand. Calm waves. Not deep. Free kayak. Great service.

Me and my family stayed at the minitel. The room is nice and clean. Enough space for 4 persons but can also fit up to 6 persons. The resort can make you feel relax and enjoy the moment while you are staying there. There are many places where you can take pictures and enjoy acivities. It is also a good location for a team building and family reunion because the place is huge. The food is also affordable and worth the price. What we enjoyed the most is the pool and the ocean, we can go back and forth whenever we like. Of course, all the staffs are nice and accommodating. 😊

Sad to say though price is good but the surroundings again not everything you see online is the same. Water quality of the beach its bad plus shoreline a lot of trash. What i appreciate so much shower area and restroom because it has bidet. Pool tiles are sleepery not maintained well enough or even replaced with clean water

The best for people who wants to relax as it is a very private resort, but if you want water sports, or bonfires, not for you as the beach closes early and there were no activities (banana boats, etc.)

The room is good, and so the staff. Nice view, very relaxing. The only downgrade is that it has to much "flies". But everything is worth tha long travel.

If you're looking for a place to relax and unwind, this is a perfect place for you! The resort isn't crowdy. It was very peaceful and they also serve delicious dishes. They have lots of activities and pools to try too. We did enjoy our stay there! I'm so happy that I found this resort. πŸ’›

Narrow rough road πŸ›£οΈ when you're getting near and make sure to take the left side. An overnight vacation. I'm with my family and wife's colleagues. (Their team building actually). They get the big room near the basketball court. Clean and comfortable with hot and cold water bathrooms. Nice pools for kids and adults (with slide). When you're enough with the pools, you can take a 3 to 5 minutes walk to the seashore and take a dip to the Sea 🌊 and there's a kayak rental too. There is also a fishpond in the middle of the resort. If you want challenges then try the obstacle course that you will see when getting inside the resort. A great place for team buildings/friend get together or family bonding occasions.

The location is quite too far, I am from Cavite and yet it is still a 4hr drive by the bus (private bus provided by school). Rooms- we got cottage its nice and comfy Service- the maintenance guy assigned in the first pool near the gate is helpful. HOWEVER, the beach is dirty, even the wash room or CR, its dirty.

Location is much near compared to the remoteness of known Laiya resorts, considering you still can use your phone and browse. Beach sucks, filthy, aside from its not white sand. So, you'll be left with just the pool (with kids and adult slides), and water sports. But then again, kind of makes you think twice of doing water sports coz of the filthy beach. Couldve been nice coz sand is fine despite its not white sand. Its the garbage that will totally turn you off - plastic bottles, wrappers, floating diaphers!, styros, slippers, beer bottle, and more. Place is best for company team building but not much for personal beach and pool leisure. Parking not a problem. If ur fond of beaches, this will not do. Rooms are average. Service crew is responsive and nice though. Food's okay. Place fairly clean.

It's relaxing, quiet, good food... the facility is not updated but you can request them to clean your room.

Venue is okay for strategic planning and business meetings. But I'm sure there are more suitable places than distant resort.

Great place for a family holiday. We booked a villa and the place was cleaned well before we got in. Facilities people were everywhere cleaning up on the dot, including the beach areas. We swam early evening and had a lifeguard looking after us. The only thing I would suggest for improvement is for the establishment to have ready change for all types of purchases - big or small. Tnx

Such a quiet, clean, serene place to go on a vacation. Rooms are clean and awesome. The villas are near the beach itself. The beach is far from residential area so it is quite clean. Will be happy to go back here next vacation.

We stayed 2 nights at Calubcub Bay Resort and found it to be a wonderfully relaxing experience. We did a day trip down to the Laiya Beach/resort area which was OK but left me even more grateful for stumbling across Calubcub Bay first! The Staff is professional and always cleaning and keeping the place pristine. They have an amazing grass and walking services, making for a beautiful barefoot couple of days. Their pools, especially the main one, our beautifully decorated, and the water was clean and refreshing. We had breakfast both days which was excellent. Somebody had left a smelly fire burning on the beach and the smoke happened to be rolling right up into our room. I went out to throw some buckets of water on it, and the security staff stopped me, only to get a garden hose and get it extinguished immediately. The place is very secure with Gaurds that are truly doing their jobs while also being professional hosts. They really were so friendly and made everyone feel at home. There are many activities to do including basketball, volleyball, obstacle course, a little playground for the kids, and of course, just relaxing. When it comes to the resorts in the area, I looked at many both online and firsthand and this is the hands-down winner. Best of all, it was very secluded and peaceful. See the beach pictures; hardly any people. The ocean was not too swimable the days we were there and I do not know if the water ever becomes aqua clear in that particular stretch. However, the sand is quite black, fine, and comfortable to the feet. With the pool amenities, I was not really too interested in swimming out in the ocean anyway. Just the fact to be right on the beach and hearing the surf. All the time is what really counts. The Internet was OK, but we were also in a corner room closest to the ocean. I was able to get my work done with the Internet in the evenings, so that was good. Room number seven on the second floor, which had a wraparound porch and even a close by secret tower balcony to overlook the ocean! We also rented one of the large cabana houses with upstairs sleeping And downstairs kitchen and outdoor eating. Both accommodations were clean and very comfortable. Excellent job to all the staff and workers at the Calubacay resort! Thank you so much and we will definitely see you again..

Good find for a last minute booking! Found this place via Google maps while trying to find a resort that's kid friendly and within budget amongst the expensive laiya resorts. The staff was every easy to transact with and the villas are big enough for 8 adults and 3 kids. There's a small kitchen and bbq area with utensils as well. You can check their Facebook page for more info.

The most disgusting service ever in the Philippines. They are more expensive than Palawan and they provide a Quiapo-style service!!! One is obliged to eat at 5.50, because their kitchen is closing. Nobody at the reception in the night in case of an emergency. Breakfast is a challenge.... They open whenever they want!!! Useless waiters, not even cleaning and removing dirty plates. Seaside full of basura and nobody cleaning. Butiki inside the rooms. Toilets can fit unano and you cannot even flush, since it's not working. Products they are selling are older than Mathusalem. They are located in front of the sea, and there is no fresh seafood at all!!! What else??? Just forget about this place!!!

Id say 5 star for location but the road leadking to the resort needs improvement. Especially if it rains. All in all a very pleasant experience. Thank you Claubcub Bay staff !!! Definitely planning on our next stay.

Travel time from Metro Manila : 2-4 hrs by private car 4th time visiting this place and it always amazes me how peaceful and nice it is here. Rooms are well maintained and provided with the basic needs (towel, comforter). We are a frequent visitor at the Villas. Kitchen already has pans and kaldero, utensils. Even has a ref to store the frozen goods and drinks. What you need to bring if you plan to cook here: chopping board, spatula, rice cooker. Saltwater pool is the best! Just remember to bring a kickboard or a floater since it's up to 8ft. They also have a chlorinated pool (4ft-8ft) that has a slide. The beach is also nice, you can try the kayak here! Overall it's a great stay and would recommend to friends, families and colleagues to visit this place if you're looking for relaxation. I already did!

The place is great for family or group outing. I think it is a gread place to unwind and relax. They have accomodating and welcoming staff, great ambiance, nice pool and delicious food. The area has weak signal which is not a problem if you'd like to have online detox for a while. They are beside the beach with black sand,

The place is so beautiful, clean also the rooms, the pool, the cr/shower rooms (so many) and the whole surroundings. The staff are so nice, friendly and attentive. The sea is shallow even if it's high tide, the waves are not that strong. It's also picture perfect. I really recommend this place.

The pools (both regular and salty) are nice. Am glad there is a lifeguard on-duty during swimming sked. Unfortunately, majority of the pools are deep for children. The obstacle courses are a plus for team-building activities.

πŸ€” A standard mid-range beach resort. Brown sand beach, kids friendly pools with slides. Clean air-conditioned rooms. CR is ok. Plenty of space for out door games and an option for fishing experience.

A getaway close to Manila that is open for day tour or overnight stay. They also cater to large family or corporate gatherings. You can arrange for team building workshops. There is sufficient parking space and you can bring your own food and beverages or you can order directly at their restaurant which offers a wide menu at reasonable prices. The staff are very courteous and security is provided.
