I
could
not
be
more
impressed
with
my
experience
at
AquaVenture
Reef
Club
this
past
week.
I
put
in
ALOT
of
research
in
choosing
a
dive
resort
in
Anilao
and
I’m
glad
I
did
-
because
that
diligence
paid
off.
Aquaventure
has
been
around
for
many
many
years,
and
has
always
had
a
strong
reputation
as
a
leading
dive
resort
in
Anilao,
but
has
recently
benefited
from
new
ownership
who
has
invested
extensively
in
improving
everything
from
the
accommodations
to
the
diving
facilities.
The
resort
is
fully
equipped
with
new
(within
two
years)
Aqualung
rental
gear
(a
few
Apex
regulators
available
as
well)
and
even
has
a
well
designed
camera
assembly,
cleaning,
and
storage
room.
You
can
tell
this
is
a
resort
that
was
built
to
support
divers,
because
there
are
little
details
that
only
an
experienced
dive
operator
would
know
-
custom
gear
drying
racks,
showers,
gear
rinse
station,
briefing
area,
and
plenty
of
deck
space
to
organize
equipment.
Being
right
on
the
water,
you
literally
walk
down
the
steps
at
the
front
of
the
property,
hop
on
the
Bangka
boat,
and
you’re
off
to
any
number
of
exceptional
dive
sites
in
a
few
minutes.
Beyond
the
extraordinary
diving
-
I
was
humbled
by
the
hospitality
of
the
staff.
Meals
were
excellent
-
breakfast,
lunch,
and
dinner
-
they
even
set
a
place
for
me
each
time
I
sat
down
to
eat.
Everyone
I
interacted
with
was
genuinely
welcoming
and
accommodating
-
they
even
set
up
one
of
my
favorite
bottles
of
rum
to
enjoy
the
sunset
on
my
first
night
there!
Aside
from
the
property
being
immaculately
well
maintained
-
the
place
has
a
true
South
Pacific
vibe.
The
rooms
are
basic,
but
very
comfortable,
and
the
entire
property
is
ideal
for
large
groups
of
divers.
I
had
my
own
private
Divemaster
(cheers
Robert!)
who
was
as
good
as
it
gets
-
the
experience
of
Sombrero
reef,
and
finding
the
outrageously
large
frog
fish
directly
out
front
of
the
resort
will
remain
indelible
in
my
memory.
There
are
many
dive
resorts
in
Anilao,
but
to
me,
AquaVenture
provides
the
“local”
or
“family”
experience
I
seek
when
diving
in
extraordinary
places.
I’m
excited
to
come
back
in
a
few
months
now
that
I
have
the
lay
of
the
land.
This
was
a
perfect
introduction
to
Anilao
-
and
I
wouldn’t
want
to
experience
it
any
other
way.
