Reading all the reviews, I am absolutely surprised at how we ended up with room 14, given its horrible condition. We had planned to spend a weekend here, enjoying the beautiful views, but the room was far from what we expected. It was evident that the room hadn't been renovated in quite some time. As soon as we entered, my nose was assaulted by the strong smell of insect spray. Moving to the bathroom, I was utterly shocked to find cables sticking out 5 cm from the shower water stream – a clear safety hazard. The air conditioning unit was equally disappointing; its noise level was comparable to a small electric station operating in the room. To top it off, we had some uninvited guests in the form of COCKROACHES 🪳 On a positive note, the food was quite good. However, the perplexing part was why we were assigned a room that clearly wasn't ready for guests. Our first weekend getaway turned out to be miserable and thoroughly disappointing. Adding to the frustration was the fact that the room came with a hefty price tag that simply didn't match its quality. Despite the room woes, I must admit that the location was perfect for diving and snorkeling enthusiasts.

The rooms and beds are a little cozy for American tastes. But, this is an excellent dive resort that really takes care of its guests. The hospitality is top notch, and the food here is incredible. My favorite fried chicken in the Philippines is here. The diving and snorkeling at nearby sites is spectacular. This resort is primarily focused on SCUBA divers and has a good facility to support divers as well as excellent guides and instructors for the area. If you are a diver or someone thinking about taking it up, this is a place for you.

I've been there twice and I enjoyed both visits. Food is delicious, crew is efficient and accommodating. I will definitely go back. While you're there make sure to get the Divenet team to help you with your dives. If you've never been in the area, just watch out for the steep slope going towards the resort. Have fun diving! :)

Didn't try the room, but for diving day trip it was very nice!! The owner is super friendly, the staff as well. Breakfast when arriving was good, loved their Arroz Caldo. And the smooth organization of the diving day, including tank filling and billing went very well. Great ! They even arranged to boost O2 tanks 😍

Aquaventure is a divers spot. They have big rooms for sharing and offers complete meal and divers gear for rentals. This can be a quick getaway home for divers in Anilao Batangas. They have swimming pool as well. Btw they are also famous for their grilled pork chops. :)

Nestled in a prime location that seems tailor-made for the perfect vacation, this resort presents a unique blend of beauty and utility. Its beachfront setting, coupled with comprehensive facilities catering to scuba diving enthusiasts, sets the stage for an exceptional experience that is further amplified by the dedicated crew and culinary offerings. The resort's location can only be described as ideal for those seeking a retreat from the mundane. Perched on the edge of the beach, it offers a front-row seat to the captivating interplay of land and sea. With complete facilities for scuba diving, it caters to the desires of underwater explorers, allowing them to delve into the mysteries of the ocean with ease. The resort's crew deserves applause for their unwavering dedication to guest satisfaction. Their helpful and accommodating nature is a beacon of warmth, ensuring that every need is met with a smile. This level of attentive service can make a significant difference, turning an ordinary stay into an extraordinary memory. Culinary delights are another feather in the resort's cap. The gastronomic journey offered from lunch to dinner is a testament to the establishment's commitment to providing an all-encompassing experience. The well-prepared food, thoughtfully presented, adds a layer of indulgence that complements the natural beauty of the surroundings. Our visit to the resort coincided with the arrival of Typhoon Egay, an unexpected twist that bestowed upon us an unintended privilege. We were the sole guests during our stay, allowing for an unparalleled level of tranquility amidst the storm's fury. This rare circumstance turned what could have been a setback into an intimate encounter with nature's power, framed by the resort's protective embrace. The resort's recent renovation has breathed new life into its architectural identity. The design, reminiscent of the charming "bahay na tisa sa Pasig," carries with it a sense of nostalgia and cultural resonance. This touch of familiarity, combined with modern updates, creates an ambiance that feels both welcoming and aesthetically pleasing. In summary, this resort emerges as a hidden gem that stands resilient in the face of nature's whims. With its prime location, scuba diving facilities, hospitable crew, and delectable cuisine, it offers a holistic vacation experience. The unique privilege of being the sole guests during a typhoon, the nicely renovated design, and the evocative architectural elements only enhance the allure. A stay at this resort is not just a vacation; it's an immersion into an enchanting world of beauty, comfort, and exceptional moments.

I had a wonderful holiday in Aquaventure, for learning diving and experiencing the hospitality of Philippine people who are warm and kind. It is also a beautiful place to stay for relaxing, it takes you away from concrete buildings to a treasure traditional wooden made Philippino one, and shell made windows, among greens and peaceful sunset. I learn diving with instructor Jen and Steve, I feel safe to be with them - experienced, professional, patient and fun. I was a beginner and eventually could do well buoyancy and taking photos! I have so much respect to them. The food is also unforgettable fabulous!

One of the best dive resorts in this area. It has now been totally transformed with huge investment by the new owners. The location is without doubt the best as it was one of the first dive resorts built in this area so they get maximum protection from bad weather and the best access to all the best dive sites. Staff are so helpful and very experienced. Catering for both vegetarian and non vegetarian diners as well.

In Philippines for work and decided to escape the city during weekend. Had no real expectations, was just looking for a remote location and relax environment. Aquaventure Reef club absolutely delivered on that front. Although regret not diving at the site it was a perfect getaway and allowed me to unwind. Had great evening with Leo and his family... Will be back!!

Enjoyed it so much! The food is THE BEST. The staff are nice and accommodating. The rooms and internet connection can honestly be better/improved. But the rooms are clean enough. A lot of stairs but great for cardio. The view deck is a nice place to relax in. Different bird sounds. Scuba diving experience is a MUST. Sir Leo is a very jolly and approachable person. Ms. Razzel assisted us from booking til our stay. Ms. Lynn is approachable and helpful. Sir Robert is a fun person to talk to and dive with. Overall, would highly recommend!

I could not be more impressed with my experience at AquaVenture Reef Club this past week. I put in ALOT of research in choosing a dive resort in Anilao and I’m glad I did - because that diligence paid off. Aquaventure has been around for many many years, and has always had a strong reputation as a leading dive resort in Anilao, but has recently benefited from new ownership who has invested extensively in improving everything from the accommodations to the diving facilities. The resort is fully equipped with new (within two years) Aqualung rental gear (a few Apex regulators available as well) and even has a well designed camera assembly, cleaning, and storage room. You can tell this is a resort that was built to support divers, because there are little details that only an experienced dive operator would know - custom gear drying racks, showers, gear rinse station, briefing area, and plenty of deck space to organize equipment. Being right on the water, you literally walk down the steps at the front of the property, hop on the Bangka boat, and you’re off to any number of exceptional dive sites in a few minutes. Beyond the extraordinary diving - I was humbled by the hospitality of the staff. Meals were excellent - breakfast, lunch, and dinner - they even set a place for me each time I sat down to eat. Everyone I interacted with was genuinely welcoming and accommodating - they even set up one of my favorite bottles of rum to enjoy the sunset on my first night there! Aside from the property being immaculately well maintained - the place has a true South Pacific vibe. The rooms are basic, but very comfortable, and the entire property is ideal for large groups of divers. I had my own private Divemaster (cheers Robert!) who was as good as it gets - the experience of Sombrero reef, and finding the outrageously large frog fish directly out front of the resort will remain indelible in my memory. There are many dive resorts in Anilao, but to me, AquaVenture provides the “local” or “family” experience I seek when diving in extraordinary places. I’m excited to come back in a few months now that I have the lay of the land. This was a perfect introduction to Anilao - and I wouldn’t want to experience it any other way.

Leo and Gen were remarkable, catered to every need and they were very hospital and friendly. Gen delivered a very good and clear diving instructions to my son. Gen accompanied my son who for the first time tried scuba diving and he did great. Thank you Leo and Gen for such a wonderful and memorable stay in your resort. The other staffs were all great as well.

What an amazing place with outstanding staff. Just had three nights and four days diving here. ITS AMAZING. We have stayed in many resorts in this area over the last ten years. New owners .What they have done to this place is fantastic. They just cant do enough for you. What I loved is that they drive you all the way down the beach area where they check you into the resort and your room is directecly above you. All the other resorts we have stayed in this area have hundreds of steps to get around. The food was fantastic and we had a pizza party one evening. They prepared all the food and showed us how to cook our own pizzas. Robert and Gen are superb Divemasters and we have just booked to come back next year with their promotion rebooking discount.

Perfect spot to relax, dive and snorkel. Stunning view from the hotel, and nice stone beach. The staff were like a family, they were so welcoming, friendly and helping. Every meals were perfect from breakfast to dinner. If you like snorkeling or diving it’s the place to be , you can saw some turtles just a few meter from the beach by snorkel and for the dive you can rent all the equipment directly in the dive school from the hotel and go by boat to different dive site.

What a perfect place for divers. The place itself is nice and cosy. What makes is really special is the people working there. They work nonstop to make your dives easy and pleasant. Don’t think about getting your stuff ready or cleaning afterwards. They are outstanding. Many great spots to dive. Can’t recommend them enough.

👍👍 It's accessible using motorcycle vehicle. I've been here for the 2nd time. If you wanted to experience overnight camping with kids, this is the right place. There's no need to trek, the summit is just 5-10 minutes walk from campsite.
